I’m a new patient at Hancock Dentistry and am so happy I found them! I’ve been twice, and both times there was no waiting. My hygienist (Linda??) was so pleasant and did an excellent job. Both Dr. Hancock and Dr. Densmore are extremely personable, and they both gave me a very thorough exam. There is no pressure to have “extra” things done. They are honest and their cost is reasonable. Great experience and I would highly recommend them!!

I cannot day enough wonderful things about Dr. Hancock and his staff! Yesterday was my second cleaning appointment since finding them last year. I had not been to the dentist for quite some time because like most of us, it’s not always a pleasant experience. But Dr. Hancock and his team have made me feel so welcome and made the experience easy and anxiety free! I especially love that they always walk me through my exam, explaining each step of the way what they are doing as well as taking preventative care and discussing any areas of potential concern. I have never been so happy and satisfied from a dental experience than I have after every visit to Dr. Hancock. He was patient, professional, caring, and incredibly thorough through every procedure. He removed my 4 wisdom teeth and did 5 fillings on me (it had been awhile!) and let me ask questions, and even come back for 2 adjustments on my fillings until they were absolutely perfect. My only regret is that I waited so long to visit his office! I can also say the same for the entire office staff, Nancy and Dr. Hancock’s assistant (I’m not sure of her name), but they all were a dream to deal with and I felt incredibly well taken care of and attended to. Keep up the good work you all! We will be back soon & are telling others about the “best dentist in Nashville”!! 🙂

As we all know, moving is stressful! I think it is even more stressful when you move to a new city. A coworker recommended Dr. Hancock to me nearly two years ago. With very little time on my hands, I have managed to visit this office with ease. I am always greeted with a smile and a friendly voice. 99% of the time the front addresses me by my first name, I am always in and out and my concerns are always addressed. In my experience, finding a dentist or any doctor in a new town is stressful and sometimes uncomfortable. With this office, I can go in wearing sweat pants or prom dress and I am always treated the same way. I truely feel valued! I would recommend for everyone to visit this office.

Dr Hancock and his staff are knowledgeable and professional. I have been seeing most of this staff for a few decades and they are consistently excellent at what they do. I have always been able to get in immediately with an emergency. Regular cleanings are not a dread. You almost always are taken right in and don’t have to wait. Office is always clean and sanitary so I feel good about that after having had any work done. Dr Hancock is a thorough and caring dentist. I have been seeing Dr Hancock for 5+ years and the level of care has been the best I have had from any dentist ever. I have had many dental challenges and Dr Hancock has had to repair work from previous dentists as well. He and his team are amazing, They have never shamed me nor made me feel demeaned about my teeth issues. He has always been straight with me and been able to lay out my treatment options fairly and honestly. They were even able to work out issues with the out of network insurance I had at one time!

I have always had great experiences here. This was my first visit post Covid and I was very impressed. They asked that you wait in your car, they took temperatures and asked questions before my cleaning. My hygienist was well protected – mask, glasses and face shield. I arrived a few minutes early, played a little smart-phone Skee Ball, and was escorted, spot on time, back to the <space with the chair> by a new Oral Hygienist, who turned out to be just as good as the one who no longer lives in Nashville, so I learned. Some discomfort, mostly associated with opening mouth wider than needed, otherwise pain-free. Always got to close my mouth before gagging. Actually saw my new dentist, who, six months ago, had managed to be effectively obscured from direct observation by hands and other things. Learned that I probably had a replacement filling in my future, but not yet, thank you. Good visit, I left with my bag containing a new toothbrush and packet of dental floss, both now safely stored in my bathroom supply closet, with the best of intentions.

I hate, hate going to the dentist! However ,I had this huge crevice on my front tooth. Anything that would stain my teeth: red wine, coffee would cause this depression to get worse. Dr. Hancock is hands down the best dentist in Nashville. He takes the time to answer any questions I may have, and his entire staff makes each visit a positive experience. After some pretty bad experiences with various dentists in the past, which resulted in me not visiting a dentist for some time, Dr. Hancock worked through the extensive list of things that I needed done without making me feel as if I was sitting in a torture chair. As a point of reference, Dr. Hancock has removed all my wisdom teeth, placed a few crowns, and completed multiple fillings. Needless to say, but I now happily visit for regular cleanings

I do not like Dentist!
