I switched to Dr. Kakos’s dental office due to convenience of location and based off Yelp reviews. I’m glad I turned to yelp as this office and their staff are the best I’ve dealt with. They’re professional and knowledgeable while maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment. The lady at the front desk (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was welcoming and was helpful with my very specific scheduling needs as well as my insurance questions. Michelle, the hygienist was great. She was well knowledged in her work. (She confirmed for me that I don’t have periodontal disease which the last dentist I was seeing said I do have) After my cleaning with Michelle, Dr. Kakos Came and did the followup work. You can tell she takes pride in her work and cares about her patients, which was confirmed because her cell phone # is on her business card. I’d highly recommend Dr. Kakos and her office and staff!

Our family has been seeing Dr Kakos and her team for over 12 years now ! That’s how much trust we have in them. Beyond cleaning, all incidents (tooth chipped from accident, sensitive tooth ) are seen immediately and fixed. Caring for your comfort is high on their priority. Knowledge and experience is also up there. I know that they want us to have our set of teeth for life . Could not have asked for a better dental care provider than Dr Kakos herself . She’s a perfectionist and only wants the best treatment for you.

The staff at the Bloomfield office were very welcoming and personable when entering into the office. The dental hygienist who performed my cleaning and X-rays did a great job! She explained what she was doing step by step and why. She provided recommendations for at home care as well. Dr Karmo was wonderful to chat with. She, too, explained in detail each step of her exam. I would highly recommend this practice!

We really enjoy Dr. Kakos and her team. They take great care of their patients and are very pleasant. Due to the recent windstorm and power outage, I wasn’t sure if the office had power and would be open. Since Dr. Kakos freely shares her mobile number with patients, I texted her in the morning before the office opened to confirm whether my scheduled first appointment of the day was still on. She responded and was glad I felt free to contact her via text. Michelle, my dental hygienist, is very thorough but gentle with cleaning. In addition, she explains techniques, makes suggestions, and is encouraging. Keep up the great work, Team Kakos!

I am soooo excited to finally have a dentist I like and trust again! I went to Dr Jessica Kakos first time today and she cleaned up a mess of cement my previous dentist left behind causing problems. She has the greatest demeanor and the staff is friendly and efficient. Her precision and thoroughness felt caring. She goes out of her way to ensure her patient’s health, with gentleness and professionalism. She has a CEREC machine to make crowns in one sitting, if appropriate, and explained how and why it can’t always be used. I’m so thankful I found her for my new dentist, as I felt a bit creeped out by my last one that just happens to have horrible ratings on Yelp.

The entire office staff is top-notch. They are friendly and professional. My daughter recently went in for a filling and was a bit apprehensive. Two women in the office took the time to calm her down and soothingly talked her through the process. Dr. Kakos came in and also was very calm and compassionate. The filling was completed with no tears! We have been going to Dr. Kakos for several years and this is only one example of the visits that always go smoothly. The atmosphere in the office definitely makes it much more enjoyable to go to the dentist.

I never thought that I would write a review for a dentist… Let’s face it, not many of us get excited about going to a dentist. This was probably one of the best dental experiences, and I didn’t pay a fortune ! First, I was a little nervous, when I arrived, due to the fact the waiting room and office area were a little outdated. (I had been going to a dentist in Bloomfield Hills that was very high-tech, but I was paying a fortune!)The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly and upon conversing with her, she noted that the facility was going through renovations soon- felt more at ease. The hygienist was very thorough and kept making sure that I was comfortable during that lovely probing. My dental exam from this dentist was great. She examined all the X-rays with me and gave me some suggestions, so that a very minor tooth issue would not get worse. The best… They didn’t make you feel like a horrible person, when you admit that you don’t floss daily.

From the first time I called Kakos dental to the moment I left the office, i have to say it was a five star experience. The office staff were extremely welcoming and friendly over the phone and in person, greeting you with a huge smile. The office and reception area was also expertly designed- it was absolutely beautiful and contemporary and zen. There Were also free goodies everywhere, from samples of toothpaste to floss as you checked in and checked out. My hygienist Michelle was also such a joy. She was really nice and friendly and was super gentle with my teeth. She also was very knowledgeable and gave me tips on how to continue keeping my teeth strong and healthy. Dr. Kakos was also amazing- she not only checked my teeth but also checked my neck and jawline for any potential issues that could contribute to dental problems. She was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend anyone to visit this dental office. A ++ staff and service! I’m surprised to say- im excited to go back in six months! When I left today- the girls in the front also threw in another surprise goodie for me to take home. What an amazing experience! Thank you dr Kakos and team!

I recently switched to Dr. Kakos and had my first appointment today. From the moment I walked through the door, the courteous staff made me feel welcomed in their office. The initial paperwork was very easy to fill out and I was not kept waiting. My hygienist, Dawn, was excellent! She was very friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the best techniques for brushing and overall care for my teeth. When it was time for the exam with Dr. Kakos, I was made to feel very comfortable by her caring demeanor. She is obviously very well educated in dentistry and what’s more, she is a very humble and personable professional. I appreciate her attention to detail as she was quickly able to spot and shape a tooth that had a minor chip–something that no other dentist has ever offered to do. Lastly, I appreciate the familial feel to the office as Dr. Kakos’ husband greeted me when I arrived and a picture of their children was in a prominent place in the room. This is not a big-chain office where you are just another patient number, but a local, family-owned, highly-qualified office where I was made to feel like one of the family. I highly recommend Dr. Kakos!

Dr. Kakos is hands down THE BEST. She’s very thorough and detail oriented, excellent with kids and adults, and genuinely kind and caring. She knew off the bat that we were moving out of state but not only delivered top notch care, also offered to help with qs re care in the future. My 4 year old son just loved it. He keeps asking when he can go see the dentist again and use the “magic straw.” Her staff is just a delightful as she is and very accommodating even when I made a mistake and made an appointment for the wrong day. Really cannot say enough good things.

Dr. Kakos was amazing yesterday with my son. He got his first filling and she did it in 3min without Novocain. My son was so nervous going in but said it was so easy and he hardly felt a thing. After Dr. Kakos was done she let my son pick out a toy and he was so happy and glad he went. The staff there is so nice and always make going to the dentist a great experience for my children and I. I would highly recommend them to anyone especially with children!
