I’m normally not a fan of the dentist until I came here. I’m from AZ and came here for a quick trip with my sister. Well my sister had a dental emergency and they welcomed us last minute and were absolutely wonderful. The staff was so sweet and Dr Lau. Absolutely Affordable. We were there for less than an hour. Such a pleasant visit. Will travel the 300 miles any day.

Everyone was friendly and service was great. Came in to look at possible TMJ disorder and Jimmy’s prognosis was spot on. Because the office is small, the attention of all staff is focused on you when you visit and it makes you feel like you are really taken care of. Highly recommend

I just started coming here because I moved to the area. I really appreciate their quick service and adherence to the appointment time. I didn’t have to wait very long at all and they were very quick with taking x-rays and getting down to business. Unfortunately I’m gonna have to come back for a deep cleaning, but after being talked to seriously… I’m finally flossing every day. I highly recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a solid dentist

Dr Lau is a very gentle practitioner. He continuously to reinforce the importance of flossing, and sincerely and genuinely care and concerned about the wellbeing of his patients. Office manager Jane was very nice and efficient. Highly recommended.

The support staff is lovely and welcoming. He was patient, and explained everything in detail. I never thought I could say I would feel good leaving the dentist, but each time I have something done here I feel good about it. He is very pleasant , listens to your concerns and explains thoroughly about the procedure , he had to remove an old filling and replace with a new one. He was very gentle, I didn’t feel anything also when the anesthetics faded away everything was great as if I didn’t have any issues. His assistant was fantastic too, had a great experience and would highly recommend Dr. Lau for anyone looking for a professional dentist.

Dr. Lau and I know each other for over 20 years and I can say that Dr. Lau is a great dentist!!! I was in town for a wedding event and needed a cleaning. He took the time to go over the x-rays to help me identify if there are anything wrong before looking in the mouth. . He told me I had some build up in between my teeth as shown on the xrays and asked if I floss and if I had bleeding gums. I said yes, my gums do bleed sometimes when I brush. He went over how I should be flossing and showed me that using floss piks can be a quick and easy way to do it. I was able to get the cleaning done the same day. I also learned that I don’t have any cavities. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

I did my first time whitening here.The office is more like a family style dental office. I like Dr. Lau coz he’s a very nice person. He’s very patient and friendly. He can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese,it’s easier to communicate for me. All the price is fair, unlike other dentists they just want to rob ur money. After whitening, he told me how to protect my teeth and keep them more whiter and healthier. He’s quite decent dentist. When I at the office I see a small cute white doggie. The staff said it’s Dr.Lau’s dog and he takes to work everyday. That’s so cute!!! I d love to come back again!Maybe get a bracelet on my bottom teeth and play with the cute little doggie lol

I absolutely love this Dentist!! I had been looking for a good dentist since I have been to at least 3 dentists in the past couple years and they have all been disappointing. The office is very clean and neat. The staff is very nice and friendly. The wait time is non existent at times. They are true to appointment times which is very rare at most dental offices. Dr. Lau himself is very good at what he does. He has a gentle hand. I recently went in to get my wisdom teeth out and he was done in a jiffy! I felt no pain whatsoever. I went back for my regular check up and cleaning, and again was not disappointed. This is definitely my first choice for a dentist.

My friend recommended Dr. Jimmy Lau to me, which I’m glad she did. I went to his office 2 times now. Make sure you make an appointment in advance. They are very on time with their appointment, which I’m really happy about. They accept cash or PPO insurance, no HMO. They still use those old x-ray films style, which may a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything is good. Oh, and did I mention that when you see him, the staff gives you a travel kit (travel bag, toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss)?! That’s one of the main reasons I go to his office lol. Nothing better than that!

I’ve gone through 3 different dentists in the past 3 years. Dr. Lau is now definitely my dentist of choice! I had an appointment set for 4pm and showed up 10 minutes beforehand. Checked in with the receptionist at the front and was handed the basic information packet since it was my first visit. Shortly after, I was brought into the main area where one of the other staff did my X-rays. Dr. Lau greeted me after the x-rays were complete and briefly went over it with me in layman terms. The cleaning process was smooth and no hiccups. Some of the other dentists I’ve gone to in the past had made me bleed during the cleaning but not here! Overall, I had a very good experience at this office and already set my next cleaning appointment for November. Would highly recommend.

I have been going to Jimmy for dental work for the last 2 years after a recommendation form a close friend. The service has been excellent every visit. Jimmy and his staff are always very friendly and professional. I always leave feeling I received the best care possible

I recently moved to this new city and needed a new dentist since I experienced an awful toothache. Finding this clinic is a silver lining. I love that they accommodate me the same day to take a look at it, and you know here in LA getting a dental appointment is such a hassle. Most of them needed weeks just to schedule a check up. Once I arrive it only took them around 10-15 minutes to take my basic info and all those paperworks which is really nice  since a lot of appointments will still make you wait for 30 mins. The staff, doctor and the dental assistant are really caring and kind. They greeted warmly and the dental assistant treat you like family, they gave me options on the best thing to do and did not try to offer different unnecessary expenses which I find most dentist do. I even got surprised that they made compare cost to other dentist and let me think about the service that I wanted to be done. Finally a clinic that is not all about the money but the welfare of its client. My whole family now is switching to this new dental clinic.

Before having a job and getting dental insurance I had always went to random dentistry recommended by family or found on advertisement once in a blue moon when my teeth pain gets intolerable, cavity needs removal and filler, or because I needed wisdom tooth removal and had to pay in cash. The dentists I’ve had all seemed as if they’re always in a rush in and out of the patient’s room. Don’t wait for anyone nor do they seem like they want to. And charge an awful amount of money. However Dr.Lau gives a complete different type of treatment than many of the dentist stereotype. The fact that he only have 5 star rating on yelp and people keep coming back smiling might be one of the few reason I want to vouch and continue vouching for this place. Private parking lot, never packed. Price, reasonable. Staff, extremely friendly. Office dog (yes you heard me, office dog) extremely adorable. Dentist himself? Extremely polite, respectful, and helpful. He is patient enough to answer all your questions/concern. And that’s something any patient would want their doctor to have! He’s not the type of dentist that will lie to you about the need for fillers when it’s not necessary and extremely detail when it comes to teeth cleaning! (He even flosses for you after teeth cleaning! Which is something many dentists neglect and don’t do!) They’re open Monday Tuesday Thursday and Saturday!

I’ve always come here for my regular teeth cleaning. The dentists here are very nice and they really take their time to do a good job. If you have any issues or concerns, you can tell them! They’ll take good care of you. I also think they do a good job filling in when you have cavity. I will definitely recommend this place! Make sure you make appt early if you want to come on weekends because they’re very busy on weekends!

I would certainly recommend this dental office to anyone who is looking for a new dentist. The office is clean and organized. Staff are kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Lau is extremely personable, explains everything thoroughly, and puts even the most anxious patients at ease. Would recommend, go check it out!

I have been to Dr. Lau three times in the past two months, once for a cleaning and x-rays, second for a temporary crown and third for a permanent crown, just yesterday afternoon. Happy with the work performed and care received. All the positives you read about Dr. Lau are true, he is a great dentist. His staff is also nice, once they become familiar with you. Wait times are minimal. Parking is good most times of the day. Office is clean and neat.

My second time here having my check up and cleansing by the wonderful Dr. Jimmy Lau! Rather than going to one dentist, I’ve shopped around. In my experience Dr. Lau is probably the best! He is a most attentive and personable and pleasant family dentist! I have had many rushed visits with the minimum of service/ attention by the doctor or the staff, I’d wait for half an hour and then walk out in ten minutes for a cleansing. Not here! Dr. Lau dedicates his time to you! Great staff members too! This is a keeper 🙂

Came here on Saturday to get my teeth cleaned and checked! It was a busy day in the office but I made myself cozy in the waiting area. The office is clean and nice with ample chairs. The staff here was friendly and sweet. The checkin process was fast and simple. Xray was done fast and comfortably, I usually get scratched in my mouth from the process but that didn’t happen here! Dr. Lau went over the pictures with me and addressed some of my concerns in simple words. He did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, I had always found the process painful but it was so painless and fast when he did it! I thought it was funny that he’d ask me questions while cleaning, and I’d answer with my mouth open, and surprisingly he knew exactly what I was talking about LOL Definitely recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a skilled dentist! This clinic is also both English speaking friendly and Chinese speaking friendly (mandarin and cantonese)! You also get a pack of floss, toothbrush, and tooth paste when you leave!

Just came today for Removing my wisdom teeth, eThis place totally deserves a five star, the staff and the doctor explain all the detail ann’s information that you want, and the way they remove wisdom teeth for you is fast and no pain at all, and the  prices reasonable, I would like recommend this place

Dr. Liu is really a very nice dentist. He will tell you how to handle and protect our teeth based on your teeth. He is very patient and thinks about the patient. Unlike some dentists, there are obviously better ways to deal with them, but in order to make more money, you can do unnecessary treatments. The prices here are also very reasonable, the staff are very friendly and can accept English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

I went to see Dr Jimmy for a cleaning while I was in la and really enjoyed my experience there. The staff is friendly and speaks both Chinese and English. I got seen pretty quickly and Dr Jimmy gave me an awesome cleaning. I felt so much better after! My mouth and teeth felt clean and healthy. The procedure was fast and pain free and I got a hygiene kit after from checking in on yelp. Dr Lau is really friendly and nice and explains everything as he go. This is a smaller office so you don’t feel like just a number. You actually feel like a patient and have professionals taking care of you. Would definitely recommend him to be my friends dentist!

Dr. Jimmy Lau was extremely professional and thorough in his work! I had an appointment at 9AM and everything was already ready for me. I was seated immediately for my x-rays. He was kind enough to interpret the x-rays for me and explain what I can do to better improve my teeth. The cleaning was thorough and quick. His dental assistant was also very kind and patient with me. Overall, Jimmy is a great dentist and I definitely recommend him for all your dental visits!

I have been seeing Dr. Lau for dental works for the last three years. The service has been excellent and he is super patient. His manager, Jane, is always friendly and I was super impressed with her knowledge about dental works. Definitely highly recommended.
