Dr. Shin is one of my best dentists I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to many – in Boston, NY and LA!) She and her team are warm, accommodating and wonderful. They do everything to make you as comfortable as possible at the dentist. Dr. Shin is so smart and knowledgeable and is so thorough. She takes the time to explain everything and you can tell she has a true passion for her work. I have recommended Dr. Shin to friends and coworkers and would recommend her team to anyone in need of dental care – simple or complicated. The best part of her office (in addition to the wonderful staff) is the stellar view of Empire State building from one of her chairs (my photo does not do it justice)!

Top tier service here – usually there’s always one negative thing you can pick out with a provider, but everything at Dr. Shin’s is amazing. Front desk ladies, hygienists, and Dr. Shin all are friendly, gentle, and most importantly, extremely competent. I’ve had 2 years of cleaning here now and got my invisalign done last year as well and have always been happy with the results. The team is very receptive to questions and never make you feel small if you have them! I’ve never felt pressured by any of their suggestions or get the feeling that their recommendations were not looking out for my best interest. Office is always clean and equipment isn’t outdated. If it’s any indication of how much I love the team, I make my way to midtown all the way from Brooklyn for visits and it’s worth the time. Highly recommend Dr. Shin and staff.

Dr Shin is the best dentist I have ever been to. I recently moved out of state, but adjust my travel schedule so I can still make my appointents with her. She supports me in my 100 year life plan by making sure my dental plan is tailored for the longevity of my teeth. She is really clear thinking and has short term and long term plans on how to care for my teeth. The whole team at her office is great. Dr Shin, a big thanks to you for being such a great dentist!!

I’m a happy patient of Dr. Shin for more than 10 years. She’s definitely the best dentist I’ve ever seen. My teeth have always been quite problematic, and I’m very thankful that Dr. Shin has fixed all the complications over the years. The downside is that I only see her twice a year now for routine checkup. Dr. Shin is knowledgeable and always very patient to explain the treatments I needed or alternative options I had. Her office is sparkling clean. All staffs are super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Highly recommended.

My teeth have required a full suite of work to be done: cleanings, cavities, crowns, and Invisalign aligners. When I moved to NYC more than a decade ago, I left a dentist who I’ve devoted a majority of my life to— often times, I debated flying back to have him continue the excellent work I received over the years. I went to multiple dentists in Manhattan and Brooklyn and didn’t feel comfortable. Most of the spaces felt quite desolate and attitude was less than subpar; in my opinion, this limits the amount of trust I can establish with someone working on my mouth. Not to mention, being in NYC, it’s like a cattle call when going to a doctor or dentist. In layman’s terms, what I’ve experienced is volume over quality. I almost gave up until a co-worker referred me to Dr. Shin and her staff. They are life changing and refreshing. Just to start, they are absolutely wonderful when it comes to having a pleasant, positive attitude. Additionally, I ask questions, lots of questions. There is no question that goes undone with this team. Now about the space. It’s quality and technology is up-to-date. Every time I walk into the dental room to have work done, it’s bright sunny and clean! It feels private and exclusive. The most important part, teeth. They’ve done an excellent job caring for my smile. If I have any issues about work being done, or an emergency (like a chipped tooth, which happened), they are there to respond. I’ve honestly stuck with the practice through Covid— and travel in from Williamsburg which is quite the trip given I really have no need for Manhattan except for this practice.
