When I first moved to the area, it took me several years to find a dentist that I was comfortable with. One experience was so bad that I was downright scared to see a dentist again. This particular experience included recommendations for rather unusual procedures that my dental insurance just so happened to cover. This made finding a good and honest dentist like Dr. Lopez a pretty big deal for me. I can’t be thankful enough that I found Dr. Lopez and the rest of his team. They are down-to-earth and genuine people. Until a couple of months ago, it was mostly just routine cleanings and check-ups that I saw Dr. Lopez for. That changed a couple of months ago when I went in for some routine maintenance and Dr. Lopez discovered that my lower wisdom teeth were causing some major problems. Dr. Lopez had informed me several times previously that they needed to come out, but I kept putting the extraction off like an idiot (but that’s another story). Dr. Lopez gave me the option of seeing an oral surgeon or having the wisdom tooth extractions done by him in his office. If it were another dentist I probably would have gone to see an oral surgeon, but I trust Dr. Lopez, so I chose to have him do the procedure. His staff was very helpful in the days leading up to the procedure, which included getting some prescriptions filled while I was travelling for work and double-checking what my insurance would cover. The procedure itself went very well and the thing I can’t emphasize enough was how attentive everyone in his office was to me. Dr. Lopez took the time to talk with my fiancé and sent me home with very clear instructions. My procedure was on a Thursday and Dr. Lopez even called me on Saturday to see how I was recovering. I’m not saying I enjoyed getting my wisdom teeth out, but I am saying that I feel that Dr. Lopez and his team really went out of their way to minimize my suffering. In short, I can’t say enough about these folks and I will continue to see them as long as I live in the area.

Dr. Lopez is an excellent dentist. He and his staff are incredibly professional and friendly and they have done a great job treating me and my family. Great experience all around; I have complicated teeth and Dr. Lopez is very thorough and not at all pushy with his treatment plans. He gives you the options and explains the pluses and minuses and then lets you decide what you want to do with no pressure. His hygienists are also great; very nice people and very gentle and thorough with the cleanings. The office is well-organized, always runs on time, and they have 8 AM appointments so that your day isn’t too disrupted. Highly recommended!

I’ve been very hesitant on going back to a dentist because the last few have made errors and caused more damage than good. I met Dr. Lopez outside of his office and just his personality drew me to ask more about his work. He had some great advice and offered a free consultation. He assessed everything and made it so simple that I could get everything fixed at his office without having to see someone else. He even pointed out some options to make my smile even better. I used to smile a lot but not so much anymore because I was self-conscious due to the errors. I’m currently halfway through my treatment and already catch myself smiling more! He and his wife Coraly, selected beautiful Colorado to provide better care and education for their two-year-old daughter Sophia, who has Down Syndrome.
