My current dentist is completely closed due to Covid 19. A few weeks ago I started having horrible pain in my tooth. The pain spread to my jaw and my neck. I started contacting local dentists to see if anyone would see me (many of them said no). Dr. Cho’s office immediately returned my message and let me come in. I don’t know what I would have done if they didn’t take me in. This was the worst tooth pain I have ever experienced. I needed antibiotics and a root canal. I am now pain free and all healed! I am so grateful for Dr. Cho and his staff. They are very helpful and did everything they could to make me feel calm and relaxed during the root canal. I can’t thank Dr. Cho and his staff enough for helping me! I will definitely be staying with Dr. Cho for all of my future dental needs.

I had the best experience at this office I REALLY don’t like going to the dentist because all of my experiences in the past were not good. Dr. Cho made me feel very comfortable. I am going to refer my daughter to this dentist and anyone else who asks me.

Amazing! My wife recommended Dr. Cho because he’s good. Didn’t realized what she meant until I went there on December 20, 2018. I’m always not a fan of needles so I was preparing myself before the root canel. Believe it or not, I didn’t feel the sting at all and had to asked if he already injected the needle. The technique is flawless, never had I experienced pain-free needles at a dentist office. I called on December 19 because one of my took came loose and was painful; and, he accommodates me for the next day. Simply amazing doctor and great staff there! I usually do not recommend much, but I highly recommend Dr. Cho for your dental needs!

I personally known and been a patient of Dr Cho for many years. He takes time to really listen to you and is HONEST. He does mission work in Mexico several time a year with his church mission team.  This just shows his giving caring heart. Throughout then years he provided me treatment for root canals, implants and  crowns.  Yes I have bad teeth.  But the service and quality is top notch. I highly recommend him.

I recently had a root canal done by Dr. Cho and all I can say is that, he and his staff are excellent!  Everyone helps to make a not-so-pleasant experience, pleasant. They are professional, efficient and have a calming energy throughout the office, which I found helpful! It’s clean, friendly, tech savvy with minimal wait times.  I highly recommend them to any in need of a dentist!

Dr Cho and his staff are very professional and they have up to date technology which made my difficult dental procedures much easier. But what I cared for most was how caring he was, his calming bedside manner and how he listened to all of my concerns and despite the fact that he was very busy that day, I didn’t feel rushed as he answered all of my questions.

best experience ever. doc cho’s dentist office is amazing!!! by far the best I’ve ever been, no lie. my wife and I had visited other dentist offices and they would just use scare tactics to pitch a sale would obviously is an ineffective way to sale to a customer. when we came in, the assistant Jesse was amicable, knowledgable, and went above and beyond to make us feel not only welcomed, but as a valued customer as well. he explained everything with great detail and made us feel at home. we loved it so much we immediate scheduled an appointment to have all the procedures done ASAP. when we came back, miss Michelle treated us with all the patience and love on the world. we truly found the ideal dentist office. after all the procedures, my wife nor I felt any pain, discomfort, or any negative experiences. they really made our dentist phobia disappear by how professional they all were. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I love coming to this office. Everyone is friendly and supportive. The office is kept at a high cleanliness level, which I appreciate very much. Dr Cho is very nice and does excellent work. I’m thankful I found them so quickly when I began a search for a dentist.

I found this office by chance, just searching on google for a dental office. Going strictly off of reviews (he has great reviews) I went ahead and booked with Dr. Cho. Him and his team exceeded my expectations beyond what I even expected. I am not a huge fan of the dentist but every visit I’ve had with them they make me feel at ease and so very welcomed. I am happy to say I have finally found my “forever dental office”. Thanks to Dr Cho and his team for always being so pleasant every single time I visit.

About six months ago I had to have all four of my wisdom teeth taken out, one of which was deeply impacted into the bone. Dr. John Cho and his staff were more than courteous and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure, which went very smoothly. He personally followed up with me every couple of days to see how I was progressing and scheduled several check-ups to ensure that my wounds were healing properly. Six months later, the holes where my wisdom teeth used to be have completely closed up and I had not experienced any problems post-surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cho to anyone who is terrified of going to the dentist (like myself) as he performs amazing work and truly cares about the well-being of his patients. I will be going back to him for any future dental work that I may need.

Dr. Cho is a very skilled dentist and everyone in his office is friendly and professional. I’ve had to undergo several surgical procedures recently, and Dr. Cho has done a great job every time — from minimizing the discomfort of novocaine injections, to keeping me informed every step of the way, to applying neat and careful sutures that have never given me problems.

I’ve been going to this office for about 2 years now and been very happy with everyone from Dr Cho to the people in the front office.  I was surprised to see a negative review over the staff being not trustworthy as I they always been upfront and honest with me on what they can do and cannot do.  They worked with me when I have my insurance and even now with the finances after I dropped my PPO insurance cuz it sucked so much.  I thank the staff and Dr Cho for helping me get through my extensive treatment of crowns, root canals, and implants.  My teeth feel great 🙂

Really cool dentist.  I had a emergency toothache and called the emergency line for Dr. Cho’s office.  He called me right back and told me he can meet me in a couple hours.
Very nice! especially since it was Saturday night and I don’t think I could’ve waited until Monday. When I got in he took an xray and showed me on his flat screen that I had a tooth infection.  An endodontic abscess to be more technical.  He said that the tooth needs to be drained and root canal started right away.   After he numbed me up, he started the procedure.  Everything took about an hour and he wrote my a prescription for some pain meds and antibiotics.  I couldn’t thank Dr. Cho enough.  He is thorough, caring and made me feel at ease during this difficult time.  Thank you!!! I will be back soon to finish the work.

I went to Dr. Cho because I needed to get some old fillings replaced. He came highly recommended by a friend. His office is a bit of a drive for me but it’s hard to find a good, honest dentist so I figured it was worth a shot. Well I’ve had two visits with him and couldn’t have been more pleased. Going to the dentist is never going to be fun but at least I’ve found someone who makes it tolerable. I’ll definitely be going back.

It is a rare find, to have a dentist take on people who are Autistic, people with disabilities. 99.9 % are put into a hospital to have their teeth done, majority of the work was to just pull the teeth out. Dr Cho, was close by, so I read his reviews, and decided to try him, I was so excited finally a dentisit who listens is pain free, and really wants to give you the most perfect smile. I have a adult son with Autism, like others he would have his dental done in the hospital, where they made a mess out of his teeth, I spoke to Dr Cho, his office staff, came in on the weekend, and was able to create a new smile for Nelson, he made sure that he was 100 % ready for him, treated him with respect & care, and went way beyond. My son trusted him so much that, he allowed Dr Cho, to work on his teeth without having to be put to sleep, That is HUGE !! He called after hours checking up on him. His staff is amazing, all of them. Thanks to all of them our son has his smile back which looks amazing, The Miles Family

Dr. Cho is a wonderful dentist with great staff. They are friendly, prompt, and helped me with my issue! I had an issue with my jaw that required some care. I had originally seen another dentist but they provided me with no certainty at the underlying cause, didn’t have the proper technology, and referred me to someone out of network. I found Dr. Cho through Yelp and I wish I had gone to him first! He saw me quickly, pinpointed what needed to be done, and scheduled me the next week for oral surgery (Love that I could get it all done at one place!). It’s been a few months since then and my jaw is finally back to normal! Which Dr. Cho had informed me that it would take quite a while. I appreciate the care and quality of service he and his staff provides.

Dr. Cho is an excellent dentist. I’ve had a lot of work done on my mouth and each time he takes the time to explain and help me understand my treatment options. He is kind, caring and genuinely cares about his patients. His staff is great, they’re always so friendly and his office is very clean. I know for some it can be daunting to find a trustworthy dentist, I honestly can’t recommend Dr. Cho enough! I encourage you to give him a try and I’m betting you’ll be glad you did.

Dentist visits with Dr. Cho are very pleasant! The entire team and office strive to be very safe and clean. I have been going to him for years and I will never change my favorite dentist. Go see him if you want to be at a very clean dentist office for pain free visits!

Review is long overdue. When I saw Dr Cho a year ago, I was visiting from Canada and broke my front tooth. He was nice enough to squeeze me into his busy schedule. He told me I need a crown to fix the problem, which I already knew since I’m familiar with dental work.  This was a Friday afternoon when I saw him.  He was able to fix my tooth and rush a final crown by that following Monday. Now that I’m moved back to Long Beach area I recently just saw him for a checkup.  I’m glad to say everything checked out ok.  I want to thank Dr Cho and his whole crew for taking care of me.

Dr. Cho is amazing! I was referred by a friend and I can see why she trusts him so much. He goes over everything and is very informative and answered all of my questions. I didn’t feel rushed and he was super patient with me. He really knows what he’s talking about! He worked on a tooth that was infected and treated it with a root canal and replaced a missing tooth with an implant. He fixed my front teeth and smile. Thank you Dr Cho for helping me get my confidence and health back!

I felt very at ease the very first time I met Dr Cho. Without any hesitation, I signed up for an All on 6. Dr Cho was excellent and caring all the way, explaining each process carefully and making sure you are ready before each visit. His staff are always polite and friendly. Dr. Cho has implemented many safety protocols to protect both employees & patients. They have clean pens for signing in, sanitizer available in the lobby, waiting area is modified to provide proper distance between patients waiting for service.  Clearly written guidelines posted in the lobby for newly implemented safety protocols (temperature check, sanitizer your hands before entering the treatment area & what is expected of you in protect you & everyone there etc.) Not only the guidelines are easy to understand & posted, every employee I encountered really follows the protocols. Only a hand full out of the 30 ish businesses that I could say their employees follows the protocols. Great job & thank you, Dr. Cho! I do feel safe when I visited their office & hope this information will help you to feel a little safer as well.

Have been going to Dr Cho’s practice for 3 years now, It has been by far the best dental practice experience I’ve had in years. Everyone is great here, front office, staff expertise, super high standards and specially cleanliness. One stop shop for my whole family. Highly recommended

I’ve always fear of visiting any dentists because of unpleasant experience. However, Dr. Cho and his team ease my nerves of seeing a dentist, they are professional, patience, pleasant and care about patients. I went there to have my chipped tooth fixed and two wisdom teeth removed; I also got my teeth cleaned. Before any steps taken, he would explain clearly about my teeth situation and suggest what needs to be done (no more and no less!). All procedures were done smoothly and professionally without any pain. I am very sensitive to pain and to my surprise, the wisdom teeth removal was no pain at all! Dr. Cho did a thorough check up afterwards to make sure my wounds heal properly. I would definitely stick with Dr. Cho for my dental health. Thanks to him and his team for taking care of my teeth properly.

I’ve been Dr. Cho’s patient for well over a year now. I am in the process of 3 implants.  The easy-going and friendly but always professional and knowledgeable Dr. Cho Never hurts me.  He has a tricky way of numbing your mouth so that you get plenty of topical numbing agent and his special delivery injection of lidocaine is practically a light pinch if anything at all.  And he has always sent me home with adequate pain control and antibiotics when necessary.  I still have work to be done and I’m glad I’m having it done at Dr. Cho’s office.  The staff is terrific.  I usually see Jessie, the dental assistant and Linda cleans my teeth.  Rose and Lauren run the office so they keep my appointments on track and squeeze out as much as possible from the insurance.  It’s hard to find a dds you can trust but you can definitely get top quality care and relax in Dr. Cho’s office and the fees are very competitive.

Dr. John Cho and his staff are very welcoming and make coming to the dentist really easy…. I recently had a temporary crown that I had for nearly 20 years.  I had been putting it off because even the thought my first root canal experience made me avoid getting the permanent crown.  I’ve only been coming to Dr. Cho for a year and he made me feel comfortable finally getting the permanent crown done!  Thank you!

Misty and Rose at the reception desk started my procedure today promptly and professionally.  They gave me an exact amount that I would be paying for the procedure.  Dro Cho worked quickly and painlessly around my TMJ problems with gentleness, skill, and understanding.  He explained exactly what he was doing throughoutof the procedure, while giving my jaw plenty of opportunities to relax.  My jaw isn’t feeling traumatized or stressed after the procedure- which is incredible!  I am very happy with our choice of Dr. Cho as our family dentist.

I am a new patient to the practice. Quarantine is in full swing and it was for emergency situation. Wasn’t sure what to think since they don’t know me yet. Well, first, they were covid-19 ready – all cautions we’re taken plus.  The office is clean, staff friendly, professional and the care Dr. cho provided me was excellent. Thank you! I Was so pleased I made an appointment for teeth cleaning on the spot to have it done when office is open for regular visits. My husband who is also ready to change was very glad to hear that I was happy with the care.

First of all Jesse was great! Front desk was really friendly and amazing and Dr. John was great, he was able to get me an appointment to remove my wisdom tooth ASAP. I highly recommend this office they truly make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in.

As a child, I always dreaded going to the dentist but one appointment with Dr. Cho has made all the difference for me. I had to get a dental crown for one of my broken teeth and was worried about the procedure and how painful it would be. However, Dr. Cho was very thorough in his explanations for what and why he was doing certain things which made me very comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Also, when Dr. Cho had to numb my upper gum by injecting a shot, I didn’t feel anything! He used a certain technique and was very gentle with his hands that made the pain subside much quicker than it should. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and the dental assistant that took my x-rays was quick, efficient, and explained the results clearly for me to understand what was happening with my tooth. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be visiting again for regular check-ups!

The Dr and staff at this office are just wonderful.  I was having a lot of trouble with my ppo insurance company in covering for some treatments I received.  Rose, in the front office, went above and beyond in dealing with my insurance to get things covered,  I appreciated that a lot.   Dr. Cho was very thorough, took time to hear my concerns, and very proficient in what he does. All in all the staff and Dr here are very respectful and professional. I highly recommend them.

Love, love, LOVE my dentist office. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive, and that is a big must especially when you have to go to the dentist! The office staff is very helpful and accommodating on scheduling appointments. The hygienist and Dr. Cho’s assistance’s do a great job and are so supportive and friendly (“Hi Jesse!”) Dr. Cho and his staff are so kind when doing any procedure, very informative and lets you know in detail what is gong to be done, while worrying if the patient is “okay and comfortable” at all times, along with great “Bed Side Manner” from his assistance and the Dr. himself. Right down to the after procedure call he makes( himself) to be sure your doing well and need anything. Very thoughtful The biggest result is giving my husband his smile back, we highly recommend Dr. Cho, he’s the go to for implants, extractions, cleanings, bridges, crowns etc…(we had it all done) and any dental work big or small. So glad some of my friends and family took our advice and are now current Dr. Cho patients!

I had a throbbing toothache, I was able to see Dr. Cho quickly due to a cancellation. He diagnosed me and recommended the tooth be extracted. It was done the same day and it was a pretty pain-less procedure. His staff explain the recovery process and I even received a follow-up phone call the next day to see how I was doing. I don’t like visiting the dentist’s office but Dr. Cho, and his staff are the exception.

I have extreme fear of dentists.  Its due to the many traumatizing dental visits from my previous dentist 10 years ago.  Yes its been 10 years since I last seen a dentist.  Well finally avoiding the dentist caught up to me and I started having a severe toothache.  I had received a mailer from Dr. Cho’s office.  So I gave it a shot and went there.   When I got there the staff made me feel very welcome.  I was seated in a timely manner and the dental assistant (I forget her name) was very attentive.  After the assistant took some digital xrays and intraoral picture of the bad tooth, Dr. Cho came in.  He carefully listened to what I was concerned about and did not try to rush me.  Then after thoroughly examining the tooth, he diagnosed that it needed a root canal because the cavity had infected the nerve 🙁  He asked me if I would like to start treatment today and I emphatically said yes because I was in so much pain.  He numbed me up and after working on me for about an hour, I was done.   I couldn’t believe that I didn’t feel anything during the procedure and he even thanked me for being a good trooper.  Dr. Cho had great bed side manner and I appreciated his thoughtfulness and thoroughness.  He even called me later that night to see if I was doing ok.  I thought that was very nice of him.
I highly recommend everyone to come check out Dr. Cho.
