My first visit to John H Krell, DDS was about two weeks ago. The office is located off of Weslyan and Essex and has a convenient parking garage connected to the building. You take the elevator to the 11th floor and find a beautifully decorated waiting room with teal/brown decor, orchids, and a calming ambiance. You ring the door bell next to the office door to let them know you are there and then take a seat. I was taken back and Lindsay took my x-rays–5 total, which was a pleasant surprise because I am used to having to take about 20. The last x-ray was taken while I stood and the machine rotated around my head. After my cleaning, I swished the fluoride treatment, rather than having to do a tray with the nasty gel. I was then fitted for a complimentary whitening tray and a mouth guard to prevent grinding my teeth while I sleep. Lindsay was very sweet and personable. She did an excellent job gently cleaning my chompers. Dr. Krell was out on vacation so I saw Dr. Matt Guerre, who was very kind. He and Lindsay did an excellent job explaining details of my examination. I have Aetna insurance and Dr. Krell was out of network for me, but Dr. Guerre was not, so I saved about $300 on my mouth guard as well. What a happy coincidence that was! Pam took my payment and was very friendly and welcoming. I picked up my complimentary whitening tray and whitening accessories a week later. Two weeks later went in for my mouth guard fitting. The staff was wonderful for every visit. I’d recommend Dr. Krell and Matt Guerre to all of my friends and family in the Houston area.

Dr Krell and his staff are so kind, caring, and gentle, that even my little kids look forward to going to the dentist. And I appreciate that the office always has the latest technology – drill-free fillings, 3D panoramic xrays, crowns made onsite, etc. Appointments always run on-time and they have excellent safety measures in place during the covid pandemic.

Dr. Krell and his staff are wonderful. They have all the latest technology, making dental work as painless and quick as possible (crowns made on site, no-drill fillings, cameras connected to TVs so he can show you what’s going on with your teeth, etc.). And the hygienists are gentle too. Plus, unlike other doctors, appointment times are respected, so it’s easy to get back to work on time.

I hate to admit it but it had been a couple of years that I have seen a dentist, so needless to say there was some work to be done. Going into it I was very embarrassed because it had been awhile and i knew my teeth needed a very good cleaning. Not once did they make me feel uncomfortable. Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. Lindsey was absolutely fantastic – Extremely thorough cleaning and checkup, without being the least bit aggressive. I felt like I was flying first class! Pam was equally awesome and friendly, and you could tell she was the Oracle of dentistry. The front desk team was welcoming and took my feedback concerning the duplicative fields on the patient intake form with genuine concern. Dr. Krell was a consummate professional who truly cared and related to me. I’ve never thought I would look forward to going to a dentist’s office, but I’m excited about my return in 6 months.

This dental practice is top notch. Everyone should go there. They are kind, considerate and go above and beyond to make sure your visit is the best. That is saying a lot, I know because I usually wait until something is wrong before going to the dentist, it isn’t usualy pleasant going to any dentist but Dr. Krell and Kimberly were exceptional from start to finish. I broke my tooth last night eating dinner with my kids. My front tooth!!! The office is not open on Friday but they answer their phones. The receptionist (I cannot remember her name, I’m so sorry) was extremely sweet and called Dr. Krell at home. Within the hour he was up at the office and working my tooth. In 4 hours I had a beautiful veneer in place. Not a temp tooth…a veneer, made right there, fit on and in place. Walked out with my smile back in tact. I will now see Dr. Krell and Kimberly for my regular visits. I’ve passed out all 6 of the business cards that they gave me and have emailed and texted dozens of others. This is the best dentist I have ever seen. My kids will now be moved from their dentist to Dr. Krell. AMAZING Dentist with equally amazing staff.

I can honestly say that my experience here is always beyond amazing! Professionalism abounds in this office! Dr. Guerr was my primary dentist hands down the best dentist I ever had!!! He was easy going, caring, and very skillful! I’ve met Dr.Krell for the second time he is knowledgeable and professional!! Everyone at this office is so nice and helpful!!! The receptionist are always kind enough to give me a call and give me a heads up regarding my insurance coverage and rescheduling my appointments, every time I miss my appointment. I can’t thanks these ladies enough y’all are awesome!!! Super-convenient location with reserved ground floor parking in the garage. Recently remodeled building and office with fast elevators and no crowds. Cerec ceramic crown and filling machine right in the office for one-visit crowns (also fastest way to replace of those creepy amalgam fillings). I have been seeing Dr Krell and his team for a decade now. This time around, I had a badly broken tooth. They got me in the office fast, I got a clear description of what is wrong and what my options are, including one that allowed for delayed treatment if I wanted time to decide or seek a second opinion. Once Ive decided, all work that could be carried out was done immediately, and the follow up appointments, after my gum has time to heal, was scheduled at the most convinient time for me. Dr. Krell called in the evening to make sure everything is going ok. His work is always stellar, my teeth look great, everyone there takes care of making everything as convinient, fast and painless as humanly possible. I sincerely hope Dr. Krell never decides to retire, because I doubt I could find a better dentist.
