Dr. Moffat is one of the best dentists I’ve ever been too. He is honest, honorable and skilled. He is also an artist. I chipped my front tooth, yes the one in front, the one the whole world sees when I smile. I went in to get it repaired and in less than 30 minutes Dr. Moffat had done some sort of magic with a bonding agent. After I got home I looked at it in all sorts of light, even going outside into full sunlight, and I could not see where he had done the work, it was that seamless. He also helped me out when my senior Mom with dementia needed something done. He was wonderful with her, talking her through everything. He was very kind and compassionate with her. He took her stress level down to zero. His staff is amazing too. Like him they are compassionate and kind. They go the extra mile when it comes to booking my appointments, or dealing with my insurance. I always end up spending a lot of time talking with the people in the front office just because I like them so much. I highly recommend Dr. Moffat as well as his wonderful staff.

Dr. Moffat and his office staff are great! He really does care about his staff and patients. I got veneers done when I worked at his office and he made sure that they were done and looked perfect. I learned a lot while I was there and was so grateful that they offered me a job right after I finished school. Dr. Moffat is probably the best dentist I have ever had so far and I will miss working there as a dental assistant.

Dr. Moffat is one of the most gentle and kind dentists I have ever gone to. His work is truly art. Dr. Moffat also takes care of my 90 year old mother and is so wonderful with her. His front of the office staff are sweet caring people. Every single one has a wonderful smile and a warm way about them. The hygienists are gentle but do a fantastic deep clean. It is always a pleasant experience to go to Dr. Moffat’s office. Besides the nice and professional hygienist and Roberta the reception lady, Dr.Mofat treats the patients in a cordial way and always asks about the family. Most friendly, conscientious, and caring dentist you can go to! He explains everything he is doing, and his procedures are always painless. The staff are so friendly and professional, and the office is always immaculate! Dr. Moffat has made three crowns for me. They look like natural, real teeth, and he painstakingly chooses the color of the crowns so they match your own teeth. He also calibrates each crown to mesh perfectly, top to bottom. I’ve never had to struggle with or settle for crowns that don’t fit quite right. John Moffat is a world-class, great dentist!

We value the lasting relationships we have with our patients and therefore pledge to devote ourselves to working with you in achieving a healthy and attractive smile. Dr. Moffat established his dental practice in Woodland Hills, California in 1985. Dr. John Moffat received his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Moffat was awarded a position as a dental resident in a General Practice Residency program in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he received additional training in a variety of dental subjects. Dr. Moffat is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Association. He is also a member of AYUDA, a non-profit association of dentists who provide voluntary dental service to under-privileged children in the United States, Mexico, Central America, and South America. Dr. Moffat is the visionary behind OralpathDx®, a computer software program that helps health care providers more accurately diagnose oral pathology. Dr. Moffat grew up in Hidden Hills, California. He is happily married and has 5 beautiful children. He enjoys spending time with his family, church, surfing, and enjoying music.
