The Truth: I used to hate dental visits, more so because of the anticipation of pain, Dr. Goldenthal are expert care takers, I was still a bit nervous however, i fell asleep naturally during my second cleaning (just to give you an idea of how gentle my cleaning was. i’ve been going over 3 years. If you’re looking for someone to care for you smile, mouth, or just make you laugh. Just book an appointment, tell them Chadwick sent you!!

Love Dr Goldenthal. Him and his staff make you feel relaxed and are not trying to sell you a ton of work that you don’t need. My moms previous dentist told her she needed $8,597 in work don’t that was over what the insurance would cover, Dr Goldenthal said it was a root canal and one crown plus her insurance covered. She had it done and her pain was gone and hasn’t returned. That was 5 years ago, now everyone in our family goes to him.

Jonathan Goldenthal isn’t a dentist. He’s an angel. He is brilliant, an artist at creating the best smile, because he knows his stuff, he has a big heart, and he even writes the original music sound track that will entertain and calm you while you have work done. Believe me, I know. He has done about every dental procedure you can name for me, over 25 years or more. Crowns, emergency root canals, you name it. He goes out of his way to be there when you need him, and he always does it right. When I move to Thailand or Fiji, I will come back for the best dentist you could ever want. Thank you, Jonathan. Dr. Goldenthal is excellent! He has been my dentist since I moved to NYC nearly 20 years ago. He is amazing: his care, warmth (his staff is also wonderful), skills – all top notch. I have referred many people to him over the years and they are all equally impressed and pain free after their visits. I have also had a bridge done (after two previous dentists botched the tooth) by him and I have not needed any further work- and that was over 15 years ago. Also: his prices are reasonable. No need to look any further- call and book and appointment- you will be glad you did! Truly a phenomenal experience.

Dr. Goldenthal has found problems other dentists (even specialists) were couldn’t find that were causing me pain, and was able to fix them. He is kind, conscientious, really wants to help, and is an excellent dentist. He composes music too, and you may be treated to his music while you’re in the dental chair. His staff is very helpful also.

He is the best dentist I have ever met in NYC. He explains all the procedures in details, ensure you are comfortable during the treatment, and overall works really fast! I was going to him for close to 10 years. Unfortunately I switched my job a few years ago and my new insurance did not cover him….what a big mistake. Now with my new job and a better insurance, I am back to his practice fixing the mess that other dentist made. I had recommended him to friends and family, and they are happy patients still today.
