I needed an emergency appointment and was traveling from out of state. One of my NYC colleagues referred me to Dr Lattinelli’s office. I was able to get an emergency appointment within 24 hours. Dr. Lattinelli and his staff were all very professional, accommodating and the service outstanding. Going to a new office with an emergency from out of state can be nerve wracking but everything was just wonderful. I really felt like I was in good hands – I cannot recommend his office highly enough!

This was the most pleasant dental experience I could hope for. I saw Dr. Lattinelli for the first time last week due to an emergency tooth situation I had and I literally felt like I knew this man for decades! He was funny, charismatic and professional. His bedside manner is excellent. He knew that I was particularly nervous because I looked strange (veneer tooth broke) and didn’t want to walk around looking like a Jerry Springer guest. He put me at ease, was communicative and fixed me up in no time. I left feeling like a milion bucks and looking like myself. Dr. Lattinelli and his staff put me at ease and took amazing care of me in the short time I was there. Overall, great vibes, clean office and professional staff. Highly recommend! 5 STARS!!

I highly recommend Dr Lattinelli. I have spent a lot of time in the chair in his office and I am a nervous dental patient. He is always extremely patient, and makes sure I know exactly what is happening (which helps). He is very skilled so it is painless. Anna his assistant also takes good care of me He has the most up to date technology, which makes the whole process easier. Teri is great with scheduling and with insurance issues. It is a great office overall.

Dr. Lattinelli and his exceptional dental service technicians have helped me overcome my fear of dentists. Dr. Lattinelli and his team are extremely thorough, caring but expedient and have been able to successfully resolve far more severe dental surgery recommendations from other dentists with far less cost, pain and less complex procedures. After visiting Dr. Lattinelli’s office today for my bi-annual cleaning, I recommended him to a friend who happened to share a dental problem he is experiencing. Dr. Latinelli is so exceptional that my 90-year old Mother travels from Montana for all her dental care with his practice. Lastly, Dr. Latinelli and his staff are exceptionally caring and strive to make every visit to the dentist as pleasant as possible, including providing Bose noise cancelling headphones with my choice of music.

Talk about awesome, Dr. Lattinelli and his staff are just that. Very happy to have found his office. My husband and I have been going for the last year and half and its always the same experience. The entire office runs on time, they have you in and out on schedule and most importantly the process is always pain free. The hygienist is skillful, efficient, and always pleasant. Nothing like the feeling of perfectly clean teeth. Dr. Lattinelli takes his time with his examination and answered every question in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. I recently had a crown completed on a tooth I cracked while eating some raw almonds. The entire process was a snap. The only con I can think of is the extensive magazine collection in his office doesn’t get enough use because I’ve never waited to be seen.

The experience that I recently had at Dr. Joseph Lattinelli’s office was worth yelping about. I had recently been searching for a new dentist and found his office on-line. I called his office in Sept. and was given an early appointment later that same week. Right from the start this office felt unique. His entire staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. After his hygienest cleaned my teeth Dr. Lattinelli went through his through exam. He took his time, made sure I understood what he found and described what we could do to rectify the issues. His hygienest name was Sonya and she was extra gentle with my teeth. At the next visit I was very apprehensive and Dr. Lattinelli took time to explain the procedure once again and put me at ease. From his injection to completion I was pain free. When I was finished he went through everything I might experience in the next few days, even giving me his cell phone in case of an emergency. The next day I got an email from Dr. Lattinelli, checking in on me and a call from his front desk. I’ve been back to his office four or five times and each time the experience is the same special one. He truely cares about his patients well being and his dentistry is excellent. I’ve only been seeing Dr. Lattinelli for a few months but he’s a great find. He’s so much kinder and more caring than any dentist I’ve been to. He explains everything and keeps in touch when you’re having a problem. I’ve had a chronic dental problem for a year that no one before Dr. L. was able to diagnose. Amazing! Just left Dr. Lattinelli’s office and my teeth look perfect! I finished my Invisalign in under one year. The process was as he described, painless, quick and my friends didn’t even know I had them on. During the Invisalign he whitened my teeth and after having yellow, crooked teeth for the last 24 years they are straight and white. I also had Dr. Lattinelli replace two of my lower front bondings as they had chipped and discolored over the last 4/5 years. Everything came out great. I recently visited Dr. Joseph Lattinelli as I had been having pain in my upper right tooth. My husband has been seeing Dr. Lattinelli for the past 3 years and suggested I go in for an appointment. I started seeing Dr. Lattinelli originally at another practice and followed him when he opened up his own beautiful office on East 60th Street. When I first arrived at the office I, like most, was nervous to say the least. Upon entering I was greeted by name and given a beverage while I filled out some forms. As soon as I was done Sonya, the hygienist walked me to the room and before even talking about my mouth(which was long overdue) made me feel at ease by putting my fav channel on(the food network) and we discussed our children a bit. Sonya was amazing she was gentle, talked to me about how I could improve upon my oral health and flossing. When she was done Dr. Lattinelli came in and was calm, witty, and also gentle. He walked me through some of the images and x-rays that Sonya had taken and set me up to return for a cap. At that visit I was really nervous as I hadn’t gotten a needle since I was around 10 years old. If I had to say one great quality of Dr. Lattinelli is his injection was PainFree. The rest of the treatment took all of one hour and I was out the door. This dental office is unlike most that I have been to, they respect your time by being ready for you when you arrive. The procedures were explained in detail before starting and the entire staff seems to be genuinely happy to see you walk through that door, always greeting me with a smile. I still don’t like “the dentist” but I do like Dr. Lattinelli, as he has sure made it easier to return.

Last month in The New Yorker, David Sedaris explains why he enjoys going to his Paris dentist. In Dentists Without Borders he writes: “I’ve gone from avoiding dentists and periodontists to practically stalking them, not in some quest for a Hollywood smile but because I enjoy their company. I’m happy in their waiting rooms, the coffee tables heaped with Gala and Madame Figaro.” You won’t find Gala in Dr. Lattinelli’s office (Town & Country or Architectural Digest will keep you busy for the short moments you actually wait), but you will encounter the style and care and humanity Sedaris is so surprised by in his French dentist’s office. Plus, Dr. Lattinelli might give you that Hollywood smile as well. “Creating beautiful smiles” is his quest and the signature under every e-mail he sends to check on your well-being. Health comes first and he will make sure your smile is genuine when you leave. His helpers are equally wonderful at what they do. Teri, always precise and alert, makes sure you don’t forget your appointment and won’t have to wait. Medina assists Dr. Lattinelli with beautiful calm and a great sense of humor, when, unable to talk, you nevertheless try – with a tray in your mouth and something really urgent to say about mushroom soup. I have been going to Dr. Joseph Lattinelli for a few years and ever since my first visit I went from dental phobic to knowing I was getting the best dental care. I have had my share of dental treatment in the past, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and even one root canal. After every visit I would leave with a feeling of “what just happened” and in discomfort. All that changed after seeing Dr. Lattinelli for another crown. He not only was caring, kind, and gentle. He took time to explain the entire procedure in words I could understand. Dr. Lattinelli followed up the next day with a personal phone call to check in and see how I was feeling. His hygienist gave me a wonderful cleaning and she even has me flossing(just a few times a week) The experience I had with Dr. Lattinelli has kept me and my husband traveling back into the city for dental visits even after we got married and moved to long island.
