Let me just say I have had a lot of dental work done over the years. I HAVE NEVER been more pleased than I am with J. R. Millington Dentistry. The atmosphere is great the staff is beyond great and the good Doc. Knows what he is doing! I just left the office with a new crown on a tooth that has given me fits for years! Perfect fit. Perfect match. Perfect experience! Wait can I rate higher than 5 stars??!!!

When I called Dr. Millington’s office today, I let them know that my daughter was really in PAIN. Betsy scheduled her an appointment for today…and then called back to let us know that she was able to work her in earlier. My daughter is 18, so she went to the appointment herself. Afterwards, she called to let me know the pain was being managed and the office had already scheduled an appointment for the next morning, hoping to resolve the issue quickly. I was definitely glad that I had called Dr. Millington’s office. Now…I have to say that what prompted me to write this review was the level of care and service that Betsy provided!!! Receiving that after hours call from Betsy, making sure that I knew how the appointment went and to see if I had any questions, was a major indication of Top Notch Service!! If she wasn’t Dr. Millington’s mother, I would ask her to come and help me at my office! (Haha)

So thankful for this experience! Not what you expect to hear about a dental visit, but I was treated with care and compassion and would recommend this practice to anyone searching for a dental provider. I needed emergency care and they fit me in. The front office staff, assistant Taylor and Dr Millington made me feel like a priority not a number! The office is beautiful and state of the art, the staff are friendly and helpful, the care is thoughtful and thorough. I highly recommend!

Dr. Millington, and his staff, are kind, courteous, helpful, prompt, and accommodating. Today was our first visit, because my husband needed immediate emergency care and they quickly got him in and taken care of. I was very impressed with every one of his staff, from the initial phone call all the way through our visit. And his office is very inviting, clean and friendly. Someone walked him/us through every step, from filling out the paperwork online to finance to making his referral appointment for us. Excellent patient care. It will not be our last visit to Dr Millington! I highly recommend them to anyone.

Dentists are a dime a dozen…but a really great one is worth his weight in gold! Enter, Dr. Millington. I began seeing Dr. Millington when he was fresh out of dental school and a junior partner to my regular dentist. I was immediately impressed with his kindness and humilty. Over time I became equally awed with his expertise, not only as a dentist but as a superb diagnostician. So much so- that when he left my dentist office, which is a scant 3 miles from my house, and opened his own practice 40 minutes away- I followed him! While this may not matter to some- quality of character is a determining factor, when I choose a health care professional to care for me and my family. Dr. Millington is unsurpassed in that category. He is not only a true family man, but also a man of great faith. This is evident is every aspect of his care for his patients, and even in his selection of office personnel. The entire staff treats you like family, and makes it clear that your both your comfort and health are their top priorities. Go see Dr. Millington, I’m completely confident he’ll become your new dentist!

Taylor was the assistant, who was so well trained, so kind and thoughtful. Just my second visit. Was so anxious about getting an implant on one of my front teeth. Dr. Millington did the crown looks great. They wanted to send back for a Minor color adjustment and touch off length. These were their suggestions, because he said I think we can get it perfect. Great location. Beautiful office. Betsy always great first impression, the scheduling coordinator wonderful. Great staff. I happened to be there while his family was there. Beautiful family, so well mannered.

Very thankful for this office. My daughter injured her mouth and needed to see some ASAP on Friday. Her pediatric dentist office was closed and Dr. Millington not only agreed to see her but worked her in quickly on a very busy Friday. Staff was very friendly and kind to our daughter. As a child I was always scared of the dentist because it was never a good experience. I wanted my children to trust their dentist and at least not mind going. This dental office is convenient to where I live and the dental hygienist took time with my cleaning, went over basics etc. Dr. Millington took time with me as a patient and not just a quick walk in (which I expected) look in my mouth quickly and make notes. He talked, checked my mouth explained what he saw-gave recommendations, etc. He went back to when in practicing medicine-you actually treat your patient as an individual and not just reaching numbers as fast as you can in how many you can see. Everything in this office is updated as in technology and everyone staying ahead of their skill. Bringing my entire family to this practice. Felt like family!

Dr. Millington and his staff are the best! I love that they are less than 5 miles from my house, but for service like this I would drive a long ways! His staff is always friendly and JR is the most knowledgeable dentist I have ever seen. He takes his time with each patient and keeps your calm and informed. I love that I can watch tv while I’m being worked on because it helps relieve the anxiety. My husband has horrible dental anxiety and he loves going here because they really work to keep him calm. My teeth have never felt cleaner, either. I will definitely keep him forever!

My husband and I absolutely love JR Millington Dentistry! That says a lot because my husband had horrible dentist experiences as a kid, so isn’t a fan of dental work to begin with. They have the sweetest and kindest staff that make you feel so welcomed and valued. I also don’t know of another dentist that offers HOMEMADE treats and beverages to their patients! The hygienists are very gentle and pay close attention to body language for any signs of discomfort. Dr. Millington is also very professional and has a great bedside manner. Another plus, they just moved into a BRAND NEW building that feels like Joanna Gaines designed it. If you’re looking for a new dentist, you can’t go wrong with JR Millington!

Love this place!! Courtney was Very thorough with cleaning my teeth! She also helped me better understand why its important to floss and how to actually hug your tooth with the floss then go down to you gums. They definitely give you the knowledge you need to know to accurate. J.R was awesome too. He made sure to tell me what my next treatment needed to be. Everyone is very friendly! JR is the coolest and kindest gentleman that Ive ever had work on my teeth and he does a fantastic job. My Dad and I did the stairs in his house for him when he remodeled it with the help of my brother and Bob who were and are still part of the team but he’s not the guy you want to go to it you’re iso opiates, etc. Because he will keep you 100% comfortable and he will never tell you to deal with pain & being a 20yr chronic pain patient I don’t enjoy people hurting me more than is necessary to get the job done but squirm one time in the chair and that lidocaine is already enrolled route and he’s very gentle and just does a heck of a job and he’s just an all around good man with a great family and his mom runs the front office and bakes the cookies that give you the cavities & makes sure to invite you to rot all of your teeth out pre op but if that’s the only thing bad you can come up with now that’s good stuff. I guess I could be one of these reviewers that complains because they cut up and make you feel at home. I dont know why some prefer the type that like to stay miserable at work all day and all have frowns on their faces when you have the option to use someone like J.R. Millington & his all star staff. Kudos to them! I show up and I have dentiphobia 🙂
