From beginning to end, all of the Kahan Orthodontics team was absolutely wonderful. They were always kind and welcoming and made me feel comfortable every time I came. From start to finish, they made sure I was okay with everything they were doing and that it felt right. Even through COVID, they made sur I not only felt safe with my own health, but that everyone in the office was safe as well which I appreciated very much. I started Invisalign in August of 2019 at Kahan Orthodontics. It is a good tool to use to fix problems with your teeth. The workers are friendly and caring and they are sweet. They have a Kindle Fire to use while you wait, and have a hot coco thing… but be careful, it is really hot! I love it there and it is welcoming. Doctor Kahan is always interested in my school tests that I bring and she even checks to make sure she can still do the math! A really fun thing about the office is that they have a point thing where you can earn points to put towards a gift card. I highly suggest Kahan Orthodontics! By, Jack an 8 year old

I’m so grateful that we found Dr. Kahan for my 9 year old daughter. She is super attentive and caring, but aside from the personalized treatment plan she made, the most special part of this process was when we first met with Dr. Kahan and she made it a point to talk with my daughter about how she’s feeling emotionally towards orthodontic work and she took those concerns into consideration when proposing a long-term treatment plan. I can’t say enough about her and her bedside manner, which as a mother is one of the most crucial traits I look for in a doctor. If my child is comfortable, it’s going to be a fulfilling experience and my daughter actually looked forward to going to the orthodontist! I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Kahan & staff have repeatedly exceeded expectations. My daughter was a tough case – with seemingly too many teeth for her little jaw, and while other doctors may have suggested oral surgery for removal of permanent teeth, Dr. Kahan (& her patient patient) stayed the course and now my 14 year old has a perfect smile, with ALL of her teeth. What a sight for sore eyes to see that big smile this week when the braces came off. Too bad she has to wear a COVID mask for the foreseeable future & can’t show it off to the world.. In addition to their expertise & heartfelt responsiveness, the office is a fun & welcoming place – Ruth is as cheerful & friendly as they come, dare i say we will miss our visits? We had been told by another very popular orthodontist in the valley that nothing could be done without pulling permanent teeth, and that permanent teeth removal may not even solve her issues. I started my ortho treatment in May 2015 and chose metal braces. I and Dr. Kahan both decided that this was a great fit for me. I know being an adult with braces is not as appealing as it looks (it’s really not that bad), but it is actually more common for adults wanting ortho treatment. It’s been 5 months since I started my treatment and have seen so much progress in my bite and crowding. Dr. Kahan has helped me to become more confident and more comfortable with coming to see her (and also the Dentist in general). My insecurities about my smile are slowly drifting away because of how optimistic she’s helped me to become. She truly does feel for her patients and knows what’s best for her patients. Dr. Kahan and her wonderful front office staff do their best to accommodate with theirs and my schedule and I’m forever thankful for them doing so. 5 stars all the way! I had braces in high school but was not good about wearing my retainer so my bottom teeth had crowded. When I got engaged on NYE, I thought, OK let me straighten these out before the wedding in early September. I went to another practice and they said it would take 2 years with Invisalign – I said buh-bye! When I came to Dr. Kahan, she listened to what I wanted. I didn’t want a perfect cookie cutter smile – I just wanted to straighten the bottom teeth that had shifted. She understood the struggles of being an adult orthodontics patient and was very flexible with treatment options, appointments, and payments. It was a pleasure working with her during my Invisalign Express treatment which lasted 6 months. Sure enough, teeth were straightened in time for the wedding. She is a total sweetheart and I completely recommend her to future patients!!

Dr. Kahan is an outstanding Orthodontist!! She treated my son over the last three years and finally got his braces off a few weeks ago! I am extraordinarily happy with the final product she delivered in straightening his teeth! His smile turned out perfect! He had several extremely difficult issues to deal with since my son had to have one of his adult molars extracted before she put the braces on–she had to maintain the space so he can have an implant once he turns 18. She worked through all these issues, remaining flexible throughout the treatment, and finally delivering an outstanding final product in his straight teeth and remarkable smile. I had some minor things that bugged me about my teeth and expressed those to my dentist. Was concerned that maybe they couldn’t really be fixed the way I wanted. He referred me to Dr Kahan, saying she’d shoot me straight about whether it was worth doing anything or not. Met with her a couple weeks later and had an initial assessment. Came back a couple weeks after that and watched a video showing exactly what could be done and what my teeth would look like post treatment. Some really cool technology they have! Got the costs and all the payment options that day. Everyone couldn’t have been nicer. Made the decision to move forward with treatment. Just got finished with all my Invisalign trays and now am starting a few refinement trays just to fine tune my teeth even more. Great new office and all of the ladies that work there are super nice and knowledgeable. Very much recommend.

How do you begin to explain the value that each patient gets at Kahan Orthodontics? A women-run office (girl power!!), you truly feel the smooth nature and dynamics that run through the room between nurse to doctor and more importantly, doctor to patient. When signing up for their office, you can clearly tell that they strongly value the idea that the patient is the number one priority, peeking at upmost comfort that you don’t even mind the nurse prying through your mouth. With a wonderful receptionist like Ruth, who flashes you a beautiful smile when you walk through the door and kindly asks if she can get you anything while you wait, how can you not feel anything besides comfort and a distinguished sense of home? Choosing the right orthodontist is so important– its going to be your home, or at least the fun uncle you come to visit once a month, for a long while (averaging at around two years). However, these women have seen me thrive through it all, building up my confidence as my teeth get straighter and straighter. They have been patient, loyal, compassionate and so caring that if not anything else, they would get a gold star solely for customer service. To add some reality though– know that going to an orthodontist who is only is an orthodontists has its downsides. You are going there solely to straighten your teeth, not whiten, not fill cavities, not do any major changes besides for repositioning the whole anatomy of your mouth. This would mean that if you have a cavity or want a certain tooth majorly shaved, you can get it done there, at an orthodontist office, you need to schedule with a dentist, and once you’re done there, go to back to the orthodontist. While I know this isn’t specific to Kahan it is something to consider when looking for an office that not Dental-Ortho. It has its upsides though– you are getting the optimum care in regards to orthodontist needs. Dr. Kahan is a sweetheart, and honestly, I look up to her as a strong woman who built herself and her name up through her hardworking personality and dazzling reputation. I look to her as a role model who cares for her patients, no matter age, size, or gender. I don’t know anywhere where the whole staff cares about how to pronounce your name properly, who bothers to even learn your name and greet you with such happiness. It makes you happy to schedule an appointment with Ruth for your next visit, and sad when you have to leave the office with such an incredible atmosphere. Im grateful for Dr. Kahan and her incredible staff, thank you for bringing me the smile and the confidence I needed to conquer the next chapter of my life.

If I have to complain about one thing, it would be that sometimes it is hard to find a parking space in the lot. However, the location is such that you can easily find a space behind the building since the large parking lots are all connected. It was only the first time that I had this issue and then I figured out that I can park in the adjacent parking lot.

Dr. Kahan replaced a permanent retainer that was broken after many years and made an invisalign retainer for stronger retention. Initially, the new permanent retainer was pulling on my teeth in a way that I didn’t anticipate and I was nervous whether I had made the right decision to replace instead of repair.
