I love Kalons & Glidewell! After going to the same dentist for 30+ years, I made the change, and I am so happy I did. The entire practice is top-notch from the professional care of the dentists, to the dental assistants and front office team. I am impressed with the everything about the practice: the skill and expertise of Dr. Kalons and Dr. Glidewell, the happy staff, the ambience of the office, the super low turnover (if any), the office hours, and the flexibility to be seen when you need to get in asap. I highly, highly recommend Kalons & Glidewell, and I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care i have received from this practice.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kalons for over 10 years and I won’t go anywhere else. She is amazing at what she does and she goes above and beyond to make each patient feel like her top priority. She always has a smile on her face and takes time to stop and listen, truly trying to make a connection. Dr. Glidewell is equally as fabulous and my 8 year old has seen them both. I would recommend either of them without hesitation. Thank you both for all you’ve done for me and my family.

Best Dentist Ever. Everyone in the office is very friendly and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I never wait in the waiting room for more than five minutes. It never feels crowded and you can make it in and out of the office for a regular cleaning and check up within an hour. The hygienists are very thorough and efficient and your dentist should be in to see you within five minutes after your cleaning is done. You receive so much attention that you feel like you are the only one in the office. On one visit, I was told that one of my fillings may need to be redone. The magic keyword was “may”. Most other dentists I’ve been to would have automatically scheduled me an appointment the following week to have the filling redone. The status of that filling was monitored for some time before the decision was made that it was time to drill. I’m glad that my dentist has my best interest in mind; rest assured that you will never be pushed into an unnecessary procedure.

Very nice people throughout my visit. Great location in uptown. Hygienist was very thorough and explained everything that was being done. Dentist was prompt at the end of the appointment. Each asked several times if I had any questions or needed anything else. Very good experience overall.

My relationship with Dr. Kalons and Dr. Glidewell has gone back 10 years. I worked for them full time until I had to leave Charlotte for a while, now I am back and look forward to the days I work there as a fill in hygienist.  Recently, I have been working with a family member to get educated and activate in regular dental appointments. There have been several things to do from root canals, extractions, and fillings and Dr. Kalons has opened her heart and showed so much compassion al well as her extreme generosity. It is very hard to ask for help but Dr. Kalons had been on our side and very sweet. Thank you so much Dr. K!!! xo Mindy

I’m a huge fan of this place! I’ve had a fear of the dentist since I was a child and now I am happy to go, which I never thought in a million years I would say. The office is current, clean and the staff is very friendly. No one pressures you into anything. I have been a patient here for several years. I won’t go anywhere else- these ladies are as good as it gets!

Everything was great! Had my teeth checked and cleaned and I honestly felt like I was dealing with people I already knew. The lady that did the cleaning was as pleasant as could be. Very welcoming and they seemed to really care. I have never had dental insurance so I’ve only been to the dentist a handful of times and they really made me feel comfortable.  This will most definitely be my primary dentist. My ONLY recommendation is that they post directions more clearly. I knew what building it was in but had no idea what floor or if they validated parking and the building entrance is confusing with the “mall level”. Maybe it’s on the website and I missed it (tried on my phone but the mobile site didn’t say much). Either way, I found it and it was great.

What I liked the most is that the staff genuinely cared about my dental care. The views are beautiful, the equipment looks all new and top notch, plus the tv’s are a nice distraction from the dental work. However, the best part of the experience is the people. I felt really self conscience because I neglected my teeth for so long. However, everyone was very positive and encouraging. I highly recommend.

If I could give more stars I would! We recently had a weekend incident and Dr. Kalons’ response rate, compassion and thorough review of the situation at hand were all beyond my expectation. My son knocked both his front teeth out ice skating and I was so worried we would not get guidance on a Saturday afternoon. I was wrong! Through Kalons & Glidewell’s emergency line I reached Dr. Kalons. Right away she looked at photos of my son and referred us to an endodontist for emergency treatment late Saturday evening. She followed up several times and has stayed in touch and abreast of his treatment and made additional referrals (even helped me stay in-network) and is ready to finish my son’s cosmetic work once his root canals are complete. We are grateful! Thank you Dr. Kalons!
