I had a dental problem for decades and could never find a dentist who knew exactly what to do about it. I finally heard about Dr. Hall. I got an appointment with her and told her about my problem. She examined my teeth and mouth and said she could fix it, but first I would need oral surgery to build up the bone in the troubled area. She sent me to an excellent oral surgeon who built up the bone with bovine bone from a medical farm in Australia as I am opposed to cadaver bone. After the bone healed which took several months, Dr. Hall was ready to go to work and she knew exactly what to do. She finished yesterday and I am so thrilled not to be in pain and to be able to bite into a sandwich comfortable. Dr. Hall and each member of her staff are first class, kind, and concerned about your comfort. She has free parking in a garage near her office so your car is safe. I will always be her patient as will my husband. He has been so impressed with what she has done with my severe dental problems and happy to see me comfortable with my teeth.

I got to say something nobody usually gets to say today: “I had the BEST dentist appointment!” Going to the dentist is usually an anxiety ridden task (scary/pointy metal tools) but Dr. Hall and her staff were so friendly and it made you feel like you were hanging out with friends instead of being at the dentist. The wait was short to be seen, and Dr. Hall met with me right away to discuss any concerns. Wendy did my cleaning and she was so fun and friendly and made the time pass really quickly. I had a previous dentist at Embassy Dental on Hillsboro who put in a crown that had been giving me pain and irritation for years. I made several emergency appointments complaining that something just didn’t feel right, and I felt like I was rushed out the door and not listened to. This experience gave me so much anxiety and fear of getting any dental work done. I switched insurance plans specifically so I could go to Dr. Hall because I heard that she is great with people who have dental fear/trauma with past dentists. I explained to Dr. Hall everything that felt wrong about this crown. She was thorough, listened to me, took X-rays, and discovered an abscess and made me an appointment for a specialist to perform a root canal/abscess treatment. Before the specialist even began the root canal, my crown LITERALLY POPPED OFF because it wasn’t placed in and cemented properly by my old dentist. Not only do I feel so much better physically after getting this abscess treated, I feel validated knowing that something WAS wrong with my tooth after being dismissed for so long. When I first switched to Dr. Hall, I was so nervous and had a million questions, and wasn’t sure if I could trust another dentist after having such a negative experience with my old dentist. Every time I’ve called Dr. Hall’s office, Kari at the front desk has been very kind and accommodating. I can honestly say that finding a dentist who listens to me, can manage my anxiety, and is thorough and professional in diagnosing problems has significantly improved my quality of life.

I originally chose to go to Dr. Hall because I worked downtown and her office was just a hop and a skip away. Scheduling an appointment was very easy, and they were able to see me sooner than I expected. I was surprised to find that her office was above Puckett’s on Church, but there is actually a whole office building nestled above the restaurant. Her office is cozy and clean, and it doesn’t feel sterile and cold like many medical facilities do. All of the staff in Dr. Hall’s office are extremely friendly. I never have to wait long to get in. The hygienist, Wendy, is so bubbly and instantly makes you feel comfortable. If you need X-Rays, she talks you through the process and completes them as quickly as possible. My teeth always feel squeaky-clean when she’s done. They don’t shame you or scold you about flossing or brushing more more, they just offer advice on how to build good dental hygiene habits. Dr. Hall is easily the most laid-back, approachable dentist I’ve ever met. She’s always smiling and speaks so clearly and calmly. When she recommended that I have my wisdom teeth out, it was a very low-pressure suggestion, and she was happy to refer me to an excellent oral surgeon. Even though I no longer work downtown, I still gladly make the trip to Dr. Hall’s office. I actually look forward to my appointments because they have created such a comfortable environment for their patients. I would recommend Dr. Hall to anyone, especially those who have anxiety about visiting the dentist.

I recently had a very poor initial dentist experience since moving to Nashville. I went to Katherine Hall for a 2nd opinion. She reassured me that my gut instinct was correct. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I will be back for years to come for my dental care. The only downside is her parking situation. The parking garage would not be easily accessible for those with disabilities or for elderly individuals. It was difficult to find for my first appointment, but will be easier for future appointments. Front desk staff is very readily accessible via email, which is convenient!

If there is such thing as a “cool” dentist, Katherine Hall is it. I needed a dentist close to where I work downtown, and her small practice fit the bill. From the first phone call, her staff was very prompt, professional and welcoming. However, if you are as cavity-prone as I, you know that the actual office visit can be a real kicker. I was pleasantly surprised at the non-guilt-inducing low pressure approach they took. Yes, cavities. No, you don’t have to fill ALL of them tomorrow. Here’s what we recommend…etc. etc. In addition to her prerequisite dentist smarts, Katherine is an absolute doll and fun to talk to. The office itself is small and comfortable and in a historic building downtown- not flashy with TVs and the like, but that is not especially important to me. Probably the first time I’ve ever thought it is possible not to dread going to the dentist. I’ve since recommended to coworkers and friends. And now to you!

I have not been to the dentist in over 25 years, the anxiety, fear and being treated like a number kept me away. As I progressed in my career, I was afraid to smile because of my teeth. I finally got the courage to do a google search and I typed in a compassionate dentist in Nashville. Dr. Hall pop up. I read the reviews and gave it a try. Everyone in the office is so caring, professional and will explain everything from procedures, upkeep and your after care. It truly was so refreshing. Ms. Dawn also did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. She didn’t rush and she took her time. In my line of work the way you treat people and talk to people goes a long way. They also adopt that philosophy here. They treat every patient like a guest. I’m renewed and no longer apprehensive about going to the Dentist.

I’m not typically one to get anxiety from going to a dentist, but I hadn’t been to a dentist since I moved to Nashville and new dentists can be scary. I read TONS of reviews for multiple dentists and finally settled on Dr. Hall, as she some really amazing reviews. Not one single negative review and after visiting her office today I understand why. This dental practice is amazing, from Kari the guest service coordinator to Dawn who cleaned my teeth to Dr. Hall and her entire staff were simply exceptional and it was a great first dentist experience in a new city. Finding her office was a little tricky since I didn’t do any research on that, they do have a parking garage with complimentary parking where they validate your parking slip, and you have to go the the elevators and the fourth floor in the McCloud building next to Puckett’s. I called the office and Kari walked me through everything. One of Dr. Halls patients brought her flowers for doing some dental work while I was there and then I overheard a patient in the waiting room saying he had known Dr. Hall his entire life and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I went ahead and made my next appointment and I’m very excited for my next visit back!

I have not gone to the dentist for an embarrassingly long time, and I chose Dr. Hall’s practice because of the amazing reviews online. I had very high expectations simply because of all the wonderful things I had heard about this practice. I needed to get a root canal. I have never had serious dental work performed before and naturally I was nervous. I also was not sure my tooth would be salvageable but she saved it. I have bad anxiety when it comes to dental visits, however Dr. Hall did the best I could have ever asked for. She was very calming and gentle. Outstanding dental practice! I first met Dr Hall when I was needing a crown for a back tooth. I had lots of trouble with the temporary crown- she was very patient and helped me get through it. She knows I had bad dental experiences as a child and is sensitive to it. I have been seeing her for 10 years and have never been disappointed. Staff are courteous and well-trained. You never have to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room for your appoint. They will cover the cost of parking the car in the garage and also have reserved places in the garage for their patients. Prior to Dr Hall, I didn’t go to a dentist regularly (because I had so many fears about drills, etc… All from my childhood experiences.) However, I now go at least every 6 months. Overall, you can’t beat the services and friendly smiles office!

Dr. Katherine Hall is the best dentist I’ve ever seen and her staff are amazing. They take such good care of you and also make sure you’re comfortable and healthy. After some complicated procedures, Dr. hall herself called me the next day to check in on me. Who does that? It was so nice of her. It put my mind at ease and allowed me to ask some questions I had regarding symptoms. In terms of COVID safety, they are taking this thing seriously. Temperature checking, symptom screens, having everyone wash hands and wear masks. It was great. Seriously, go to Dr. Hall. You won’t regret it.
