Dr. Katie is the best dentist I have ever had. She, as well as her staff, are nothing short of top-notch. At my age, 68, this is saying a lot. When I was young, I got braces, had to have 4 teeth removed to accommodate them because of my small mouth. Later, after braces were removed, had to have those pesky Wisdom teeth removed, as well. So, I have some experience with dental work. And I was a real trooper undergoing this. When I was 21, like you see in my photo, my teeth were gorgeous! I have also been blessed with strong, cavity-resistant teeth. To shorten an already too-long story, subsequent years led to less frequent dental visits for varied reasons. When I came to Dr. Katie’s it was ten years since my last visit. That last visit involved deep scraping, in addition to crowning a molar that had suddenly cracked. I came to her ten years later because the sensitivity in my teeth had become intolerable. I knew I had to do something. I had let things go on way too long. When I arrived, she did an exam and gave me the expected diagnosis. I had to do the deep cleaning once again and the pockets were much deeper now. Also, I was no longer the “trooper” I once was regarding dental work. I had become claustrophobic and needed some help undergoing this again. I really wanted to get this done! Dr. Katie, quick minded and humorous (putting me at ease), and her wonderfully sweet hygienist, Amber, were so patient and kind to me and, along with my willingness, we got the job done! I now go into a cleaning without nitrous oxide or even novocaine. I am so grateful! And, my teeth look great and my gums are healing beautifully! This wonderful result after just over 2 months! Wow! Nobody likes going to the dentist, but we all know we have to. It’s an empirical fact! I post this to encourage those of you who, well, need some encouragement! It’s not gonna be as bad as you might think! Especially at Dr. Katie’s!

Dr. Katie has not only provided excellent dental care; she and her staff have actually gotten me over much of my fear of dentists I acquired in childhood after enduring a sadistic dentist who had no idea how to deal with children, and used to threaten me and call me names. Dr. Katie is the dentist I used to wish for, but didn’t believe really existed. It’s too bad other posters have already used up all the good adjectives. I’d like to pile on a few “greats” and “wonderfuls,” but they’ve taken, so it seems I’m not the only one who has discovered Dr. Katie tucked away just off I-465.

I am head over heals in love with Dr. Katie and her entire staff and office. I was very hit or miss with dental care my entire adult life and never really felt any drive towards being consistent with my dental care. Not only are Dr. Katie, Marcy the Hygienist and Marie at the desk all highly skilled in their roles, they are enthusiastic and energetic and make the date circled on the calendar something to look forward to, not dread. My teeth and gums were a train wreck and are now perfect after under ten appointments over three years… I not only highly recommend Dr. Katie but actively promote her office to family, friends, coworkers, the guy at the gas station, anybody and everybody…

Dr. Orr and her staff are absolutely wonderful!! When I got there, Dr. Orr came out and greeted me and showed me around the office. She has a magnetic and bubbly personality that would put anyone’s fears at ease. By the time you leave you feel like you have known everyone for years!! She and her staff were very thorough and took time to explain everything. I’m actually looking forward to getting my dental needs taken care of. They make coming to the Dentist fun!

As a dental expert (I’ve had more work done on my teeth than Joan Rivers has had on her face) I can say with certainty that Dr Katie is the best dentist I have ever had. She cares about my health and my teeth. She is very thorough, she screens for oral cancers, teaches me how to protect my gums (she doesn’t just pat me on the head and remind me to floss). My dad had gum surgery when he was younger than me. When my gums started acting up – Katie scheduled me for an extra cleaning a year, a deep cleaning and an antiobiotic treatment and it worked. Because of her advise, my kids do not drink carbonated beverages, I stopped drinking them (hello healthy mouths) we own water piks and flossing wands (and use them). My kids use preventative floride rinses and are well on their way to NOT having the dental challenges I have. My girls believe that Dr Katie is responsible for their teeth. When my then 6 year old daughter feel off the play set and chipped a tooth on a Saturday. She ran in the house, grabbed my phone and called Dr Katie on her own to tell her what happened. We have healthy, white teeth and healthy gums in our house because of Dr Katie. I’ve had many dentists who ran a “fix what is wrong” practice. Dr Katie helps you keep your teeth and gums from needing repair and has mad skills at fixing your problems when they do arise.

I was very nervous and embarrassed about going to the dentist, since I hadn’t been for quite some time. I just recently moved to the Indy area and trying to find a good dentist and doctor when you know nothing about the area is really hard, so friend had referred me to Dr. Katie’s office. When I arrived I was greeted and kindly asked to fill out some papers and with little to no wait I was taken back and given a tour of the facility and introduced to the staff. I have never had an office do this before and it was a pleasant surprise. Once in the treatment area I was still nervous but felt more at ease. Dr. Katie is very funny and friendly so that made me feel as if she had known me for years and that made me feel 100% more comfortable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist for any age! Dr. Katie and her staff were all very friendly and for that made my experience MUCH better than what I was expecting.

Dr. Katie is an excellent Dentist. The service is always efficient, and her work is pristine and painless. She has a great personality and is very friendly and funny. Dr Katie does great work, and the office is very modern and clean. I would recommend anyone to see her. Front office staff could be a bit more polite, but Dr Katie will always speak with you herself.

I’ve been to plenty of dentists over the years and found that I really appreciate the ones that are very detail oriented. During my first visit, Dr. Katie found and fixed little “nagging” issue left behind by my other dentists. She was more detail oriented and focused on making it right than any other dentist I have seen. She takes the time to listen and find the right solutions for my issues. I take the whole family there now and she’s even great with the kids. During an extraction for one of my children, she even loosened the tooth just enough for him to pull it out on his own–saving that experience for him. Great dentist for the picky patient as well as the whole family.
