Dr. Kazuo Tomimatsu is one of three wonderful dentists I have had over my lifetime. I now live in Florida, but would go back to him in a heartbeat if I returned to the LA area. He does great work, doesn’t upsell, treats his staff well, and is genuinely warm and friendly once you get to know him. I have had several lousy dentists and feel very fortunate to have met “Kaz”.

My experience at Dr. Tomimatsu’s office has always been excellent. His staff is highly professional and courteous, and Dr. Tomimatsu himself is a great dentist. He performed all of the treatments I received–from examinations to filled cavities to crowns–quickly and efficiently and obviously with great skill. If you have a dental emergency he is always willing to stay late or to make a special trip to the office to address your need. He is a true family dentist, and treats my elderly parents, my brother and my aunt, and none of us would dream of seeing another dentist. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Tomimatsu. My wife and I were fed up with the local dentists trying to make up stuff to sell to us and sketchy bills that come three months later for costs you had no idea were so high. Dr. Tomimatsu and his staff we the opposite and could not have been more pleasant during my visit! I was able to get an appointment within a few weeks. Once I arrived he took a few x-rays did a cleaning and sent me on my way. No up-sells, no lectures that my gums needed scraping. Just an honest guy that told me what I did and did not need. My wife had a similar experience. Thank you for providing such a great service to our local community

I went for a cleaning & check-up after not seeing a dentist regularly for a couple of years. His office was really nice- there was no guilt trip about having not seen a dentist in a long time. The staff put me at ease and answered all my questions. I ended up having to get a cavitiy filled and he was very patient and explained everything before doing the work. I have been going to Dr. Tomimatsu for several years, and have brought in most of my family besides referring friends. He’s very gentle, and I like that. But more importantly, he doesn’t do work that is not required. I had a dentist recommend a procedure that was going to cost over $1000 even with my dental insurance. Dr. T did a different approach, and the cost was under $250. Saved a tooth, saved my pocketbook! I don’t want anyone else in my mouth!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Tomimatsu’s since we moved to Westchester in 2011. I randomly selected him because of his convenient location, but really lucked out in the process. I go in twice a year for a cleaning and check up, and along the way have occasionally required more involved dental work – old cavities that need to be refilled, crown replacement, etc. I’ve always been extremely happy with all aspects of the business – friendly and helpful front office, good dental hygienists, and excellent work from Dr. Tomimatsu. My crown looks great. When I’ve had temperature sensitivity, he figures out the problem (usually an old cavity) and fixes it. Never felt like he was ‘upselling’ me on unnecessary work, which was a problem with previous dentists. This week he went the extra mile – I had an old veneer that had chipped, so they fitted me with a temporary while the new one is being created. A couple days in, the temporary came off (my fault). I showed up on their doorstep at 8am when they opened, and Dr. Tomimatsu was able to fit me in, and had the temporary replaced in 10 minutes and I was on my way. If you live in the Westchester area, I doubt you can do much better.

The front office staff are friendly and so competent, always making me feel welcomed and remembered. And I love seeing my dental hygienist — it’s like catching up with an old friend. Before I know it, she’s says “All done” and I’m haven’t even realized she was cleaning my teeth. And I love Dr. Tomimatsu! Dr. Tomimatsu and his staff are great. I recently moved to LA and was in the need of a new dentist. After some yelp searching, I couldn’t believe a dentist had such great reviews. So, I gave this place a shot and I’m glad I did! The staff is great and super helpful. They don’t try to make you do things that are unnecessary and expensive. The office is no frills, small, kinda old building, but very clean– they are located in a huge shopping center, so tons of parking is available. I love that they change up their office hours during the week. They have appointments available after 5pm on some days, which is super convenient because it means I don’t have to take off work to go to the dentist! It would be great if they were open on Saturdays, but maybe that is asking too much. I know there are a lot of people who are terrified of dentists, especially if they haven’t gone in a while– but, I referred my little sister, who hadn’t been to a dentist in years! The staff was professional and courteous– no one made her feel guilty or bad about it. They were really great. Now, she is a regular here too!

FINALLY!!!! I was only hesistant to put Dr. Tomimatsu’s info up only because I would like to keep him a secret! LOL – But I went in for the first time on yesterday and it is BY FAR the most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for even scary cats like me. The office is small but inviting. The front desk ladies are very nice and approachable. I am due to get braces and I went to another dentist in downtown LA with “shee shee” folks and ridiculous pricing!! and he quoted me $6000 worth of work!!!!! I then wanted to get a second opinion so I contacted my ortho dentist to see what I actually needed done before the braces were put on and he stated ALL I needed was a cleaning and to make sure I had the proper fillings and that all major work can be done AFTER!!!!! Dr. Tomimatsu stated that I actually had a great set of teeth and all I needed was a minor procedure done that he will be correcting in 2 weeks. I was happy to find that he was also in my network and saved me a bunch of unecessary time and extra $ – He was to the point with sweet mannerizms. I will definately be returning to him as my regular general dentist after the braces are off….and this review is coming from someone who does A TON of research!!!!

I have been to a lot of dentists in my time and Dr. Tomimatsu and his staff are second to none. Without warning, one weekend I had a tooth become infected. I called Dr. Tomimatsu’s office, and he personally called me back, drove down to his office at MIDNIGHT, looked at my tooth and gave me a shot of Novacaine to get me through the night. He then gave me a referral and his staff called ahead to talk to the referred Doctor on my behalf. I hope Dr. Tomimatsu never retires.

I’m so happy that I had finally found a great dentist! I was able to make an appointment right away, and there was no wait once I got to the dentist office. Professional service with reasonable price. Many other dentists try to max out on your insurance allowance, but this dentist does not do that. He only fixed the tooth that really needed to be repaired whereas other dentists told me I need to fix several more teeth and tried to sell me an expensive night guard. I recommended this dentist to my coworkers as well.

Dr. Tomimatsu made a usually stressful situation a surprisingly pleasant experience! I went in for a suspected cavity, and ended up needing a filling. It being my first time I’ve ever had to get a numbing shot, he made it as quick and painless as possible, stopping every now and then to make sure I was still doing okay during the process.
