Dr. Khuu is awesome. He tells you exactly how much it is going to cost before he treats you. He gives treatment suggestions for you to pick from and is very polite and nice to me. His assistants and Richard are very nice as well. I feel comfortable to understand that he tries everything for me not to feel pain. Honestly, I don’t know who is better, Dr. Bavafa (from Berkeley – yes, too far and that’s why I had to change) or him. I am so happy to finally find my dentist 🙂 I have gone to him 6 times, finished my treatments and also did a teeth whitening at the end just the way I wanted to. I received my total bill and they were off by 36 dollars on the entire treatment (that’s very good). No surprises on prices I had to pay before treatment. Your cost will vary very slightly if it will. I am so happy to have found my dentist! Next semester’s appointment is already scheduled 🙂

I couldn’t say enough nice things about this office! It’s clean and beautifully decorated along with a professional staff that are sharp and pay attention to detail. Dr. Keith Khuu is GREAT with my whole family and is honest, kind and knows what he’s doing!! My teeth are in great shape and I owe it all to him. The other plus is that it is also a Dermatology practice as well and allows myself and my family to “kill two birds with one stone”! My son can get his 6 month teeth cleaning, while my girls are seen by Dr. Duke Khuu, the Dermatologist all at the same time. The Doctors are brothers that really know their trade!!

Once upon a time back in 2018, I started having really nasty tooth aches due to a wisdom teeth issue. I continued to procrastinate like most living people out of sheer fear of getting a wisdom tooth extracted [that too 4 of them]. Years later after moving to the West Coast, I took a leap of faith and decided to visit Dr. Khu upon reading great reviews on Google/ Yelp and ZocDoc. My primary deal breaker with any doctor is any form of passive aggression or force and Dr. Khu was a remarkable change from most dentists I’ve visited during my lifetime in the US. Dr. Khu asked me to get an X-ray, called me in for a 30 minute session and went over the details in a clear and eloquent manner. He gave me a crystal clear estimate of how much time would the extraction take [30 minutes], how many days would I feel pain for [24 hours] and how much pain would I feel [soreness]. He even left it up to me and called out that the extraction could be delayed without further issues which was refreshing to see. I went ahead with the extraction and believe it or not and I wasn’t met with any nasty surprises through the next 24 hours. Every single aspect mentioned by him regarding the extraction was true and that made a huge difference. I’m fairly certain that I’m coming back again for getting my other tooth extracted as well. If Dr. Khu’s demeanor won’t calm you down, the soothing Jazz playlists playing in his clinic surely will :-). Yes, I’m a fan !

Dr Khuu is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He is so polite and gentle and listens to your needs adjusting every treatment to fit right for you. Unfortunately, my teeth are no good so I have tried many different dentists and gone through many different treatments from only fillings to implants and root canals, crowns, etc. By far the best dentist I’ve had. Highly recommend him.

Highly recommended! Great experience especially after not going (and being anxious about going to) a dentist for many years. Dr. Khuu is not only professional but also kind — which helped ease my nerves. He thoroughly explained my dental x-rays & images so I knew exactly what was going on with my teeth and what procedures were recommended and required. His staff (dental assistant and front desk receptionist) are also amazing — very friendly and helpful e.g., greeting you with a smile & explaining details of the insurance coverages.

Dr. Khuu did a through cleaning and inspection of my teeth, and carefully explained each step of what he was doing. When we discussed next steps he explained, using images and x-rays, my options and his recommendations in detail, and listened to and fully answered my questions. Cleaning was done quickly but with great care. Also, his staff were very helpful – this was my first time using my new dental insurance, and they helped me figure out exactly what was and wasn’t covered, with grace and patience

Exceptional visit. I’ll be staying with Dr. Khuu as long as I can. After 8 dentists in the Bay Area, I’ve finally found one I like vs. can tolerate. Friendly, efficient front office staff (not to be taken for granted). Friendly, efficient cleaning. Spent plenty of time on both the clean and the polish, which is unusual for me. All digital! Takes and shows photos of cavities, etc., so you can see what he’s talking about instead of just taking his word for it. Uses those and X-rays to point out areas of interest. Nice to finally see 21st technology in the dental industry! Haven’t had all the services yet (cavities again? argh), but I’m very happy with the ones I’ve had so far.
