I’ve broken teeth multiple times because of medical issues, so I’ve had A LOT of dental work done. Most of the work was done in Los Angeles and NYC and although I’ve had mostly positive experiences with dentists over the years, finding a dentist who positively outshines ALL the rest by far in ABQ was an unexpected surprise. Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are hands down the most conscientious, gentle, thorough, artistic, and caring dentists I’ve seen. I have never dealt with a dental office as committed to exemplary work and an end result that I’m delighted by as Kneeland Dental is. In addition to the outstanding dentistry, their prices are not just fair, but competitive. Wow. Just wow. Seriously… See for yourself.

My daughters recently had new patient appointments at Kneeland Dental with Dr. Tran who was so gentle and kind. Dr. Tran taught my daughters the best way to floss and brush their teeth. He explained what he saw when he examined their x-rays, their teeth, and their bite. Dr. Nguyen carefully examined the restorations that need to be replaced where my daughter chipped her teeth and gave me thorough feedback and input for maintaining any further work that is needed. Along with Norma, the team at Kneeland is top-notch. They are so kind and friendly, they make dental visits (even for children) a pleasure, and they take time to teach above all. After this visit, my daughters were flossing twice daily and brushing each tooth!! They still bring up their positive experience at Kneeland.

Wow, I can’t believe I’m going to be the first to review Kneeland Dental… SO, they’ve been open for about a year now and the reviews on Google we’re nothing shy of stellar. I was seeking a new Dentist for a couple reasons…I needed to find someone closer and most importantly, someone who holds hours all week, especially on Friday! Well, Kneeland met all the basic Criteria and, after thumbing through their reviews on Google (none on Yelp yet) I decided to give’em a try. So, after setting up the appointment with the very Friendly Norma, I felt confident that this was going to be nice experience…and, I was right. I came in for my appointment, and after completing all the initial paperwork etc, I was taken into the room and made comfortable. Note: I know some suffer from a little anxiety when seeing their Dentist…Dr. Tran and Norma go out of their way to address this…just FYI. Once I was seated, Dr. Tran came in and could not have been more professional, sincere and warm in his “Chair-Side” Manner…if that’s what they call it for “Dentists”. :). He introduced himself….thanked me for coming in and then proceeded to go over his agenda…spelling out all the things they were going to do…i.e. initial exam, periodontal exam, X-Rays and the cleaning. He then said, at the end of all this, he wanted me to show him how I brushed and flossed my teeth! This Dr. Tran guy wasn’t going to let me out there until he felt I was given a crash course in Dental Care…and I loved it!!! Now, I’m very fortunate….I have been blessed with amazing teeth. I didn’t even get my first cavity until a couple years ago…although I know it’s not exactly going to be entered in “Guinness”, I do know I’m very lucky. That said, Dr. Tran’s care was sincerely comforting…he took his time, he explained everything he was doing and why…it was amazing. I can’t remember the last time I’ve experienced this with a healthcare professional period…where you just didn’t feel rushed or insignificant. Not to “dis” on healthcare professionals…I know there’s a lot of “humans” out there so, we all know it’s just not an easy industry to work in and be nice to everyone…lol. So, the initial exam was performed, then the X-Rays…on to the periodontal and then the cleaning and the Wrap up…and guess who was there for it all? Dr. Tran and Norma! This is not a place where you come and see your Dentist for just a few minutes, enough to say hello etc and then he/she’s gone…oh no…he stays with you the entire time!!! Amazing. HE DID THE CLEANING PEOPLE!!! And, he was extremely gentle and careful….I ACTUALLY DOZED OFF A LITTLE BIT…NO LIE! 🙂 who does that during a cleaning??? I’m telling y’all, Dr. Tran is an exceptional Dentist who truly cares about his profession and his patients. Dr. Tran shares this business with his wife (the other practicing dentist) and if they both share the same patient care/approach, I’m sure they’ll go on to have a very successful practice…and they should! So grateful to have just stumbled upon such a great new Dentist! Thank you Dr. Tran and Norma for a great first experience – looking forward to bringing the rest of my family there in the very near future as well!
