From the moment I walked into Dr. Koeppel‘s office, I just knew I would have a great experience. The office was clean, the staff always made you feel welcomed and comfortable…I always left feeling really happy. I am writing this review because if anyone else has a similar story to mine, there is hope! I never liked my smile and always found myself covering my mouth every time I laughed. I saved up my money and went to my regular dentist and expressed my concerns, without hesitation he recommended veneers as an easy and quick solution. I made an impulse decision and there I was a year later with “perfect” veneers and still hiding my smile when I laughed. Out of the 3 years that I had veneers, every single veneer fell out at least one time. They were put back in each time but my smile was worse then before. I had such a bad belly feeling knowing I spent a lot of money and I was still not happy with my smile. I hesitated for a while to get a second opinion because I was not ready to face reality that my veneers were not done properly. I searched for the best and I got it! Dr. Koeppel Is nothing less then amazing. He is patient, kind, and smart…he is the real deal. His attention to detail was incredible and truly cares about his patient and the outcome. I first met with Alex and she listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She was such a sweetheart and went above and beyond for me to make sure I was happy. Vanessa assisted Dr. Koeppel and what a blessing it was to have her right by my side. Her heart is made of gold and they both worked together so well. Ashley was also amazing. She cleaned my teeth and made sure I felt comfortable. She gave me awesome tips and was very gentle and kind. As you can see, everything is meant to be. It’s unfortunate that I had a bad experience in the past, but it lead me to Dr. Koeppel and his wonderful staff. I have my temporaries on now and will have my beautiful veneers on in a few weeks. I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. Dr. Koeppel’s office is the kind of place that you leave thinking “I would love to work there!”

Excellent, clean and comfortable office, with friendly and professional staff! There is also advanced technology and exclusive treatments available. Dr. Koeppel is not only one of the nicest, but he is also outstanding at what he does and his team is absolutely wonderful! They work closely with you to understand your needs, budget and help you to achieve the smile you want, the bread is great too. I am grateful to have found them. I need a lot of work and I trust I am in the most competent hands. Highly recommend!

Dr. Koeppel and his amazing team of professionals has truly transformed my smile.   I now smile at every opportunity!  Dr. Koeppel identified the issues I had and was able to work with me in order to design the perfect smile!  I could not be happier!  The office is beautiful, and the staff could not be more attentive and caring!  Would never go anywhere else!

I have been visiting Dr. Koeppel’s office for more than 10 years! Along with his team Dr. Koeppel has enabled me to have a stress free successful implant surgery, teeth whitening and most recently Invisalign! Visiting his office is a pleasure, his staff always welcoming and friendly-they’re attention to detail in unparalleled which makes you feel like royalty. I am always treated like a dear friend whether I am offered a blanket or headphones. I have recommended many friends and family to this office because of their professionalism and attention to detail. I schedule my hygiene visits every 6 months and have had such great compliments on my teeth since switching to this office. All of my dental dreams have come true and I’m so excited to see my new smile once my Invisalign is completed in a few months. I suffer from Amelogenesis imperfecta (AI). AI is a disorder of tooth development. This condition causes teeth to be unusually small, discolored, pitted or grooved, and prone to rapid wear and breakage. Unfortunately, the medical description does not begin to explain the pain and discomfort the condition can cause and how difficult it is to live with. The primary problem those like me, with AI, have is that we have little to no enamel on our teeth. Most of you have experienced the pain of a cavity at some time in your life. Well, a cavity is just a small hole in your enamel which exposes the underlying nerves. Imagine having no enamel on any of your teeth and living for years with all of those nerves exposed to the environment! As you can imagine, this will affect your nutrition, state of mind, confidence, general health and how you could speak. My nickname on the Football Team is “Wobs” because I could only mumble my last name Wallace the first time I had to introduce myself. The description of the teeth being small and discolored does not begin to describe the appearance my teeth had after 16 years of use. They were worn down to the point of looking like broken pencil points. They were the size of baby teeth, and were yellow/brown in color. My jaw was not as defined and I felt like my mouth was caving in. Even though I am now 6 feet tall and a 260 pound football player, I have been bullied and picked on because of the appearance of my teeth. Even in elementary school I was accused of being a smoker! zombie! vampire! I was accused of not brushing my teeth, being dirty and contagious. I even had a girl tell me she wanted to throw up when she looked at me. None of the other Dentists my parents brought me to were able to help me. During the Fall of my Freshman year, my Dad was very frustrated with my dental care and started a search for a Dentist that could do cosmetic dentistry and would be willing to help me with my condition. After a brief internet search he kept coming up with recommendations for one man, Dr. Ira Koeppel. Dr. Koeppel agreed to see me that night! He was nice to me and made me feel comfortable right away, and had empathy for everything I had been through. Dr. Koeppel had my Dad and I come back that weekend. He and his staff took x-rays, pictures, and molds of my teeth. He listened to my life story and how my teeth were affecting every part of my life. He promised right there and then that he was going to help me to overcome this disease and to be able to enjoy all of the things I have been missing. That day started a fight with my Dad’s health insurance company that lasted a year and a half. Dr. Koeppel’s staff; Marie, Ginette, Alex and the rest of the women worked tirelessly to convince them that this birth defect was a health issue that needed to be fixed. Eventually, because of their perseverance the insurance company finally gave in and agreed this past March that work could begin! Dr. Koeppel, with the help of Dr.Alan Berman, my periodontist then started with me from scratch preparing to make me look like a Million Bucks! He promised me that I would look like a Rock Star when he was done and made me feel like I was going to be his only patient until I looked as good as God intended. Marie made a schedule of 9 appointments for me spanning from May until August and Dr. Koeppel got to work. During the last few weeks, I have grown more confident and am smiling more. I feel like my jaw is more defined and that I am making a more positive appearance. I can eat foods that I could never enjoy before like; hard pretzels, steak, ice cream, cold drinks. One of my teammates from the Football Team actually said,”Hey Wobs, show me your Million Dollar Smile!” The nickname has become a term of affection over the past two years, but the request was proof to me that Dr. Koeppel had kept his promise and worked all of his magic to help me get to this great place in my life. I’m a very anxious person when it comes to going to the dentist but the staff here was so amazing, I was at ease the entire time. Everyone is very compassionate and kind, they explained everything they were going to do and really held my hand through the whole thing. I’ve honestly never had a better experience at a dentist which is saying something because I’ve been to quite a few! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone but especially those who have anxiety about the dentist. Shout out to dental hygienist Ashley for making sure I was comfortable and taken care of through the whole process!

Gong to Dr. Koeppel’s office is like going to visit friends. The warmest greetings and genuine happiness to see you again is heartfelt! All the staff practice the highest professional standards and every precaution is taken to keep you safe and give you the BEST dental care possible! I met Dr. Gohari for the first time and he immediately put this dental phobic at ease. Dr. Koeppel would never allow anyone less than EXCELLENT to touch his patients. I never hesitate to recommend this great group of professionals for all dental needs!!!

Dentistry is one of those health care responsibilities that I had always dreaded.  Before I came to Dr. Koeppel I had been so phobic that I had spent a fortune on general anesthesia for cleanings…. no joke!  A cosmetic issue brought me into the office. My neighbor had had a full mouth restoration done by Dr. Koeppel and wow did she look beautiful!!  I was sold!  I was immediately struck by the genuine warmth and attention from Marie the office manager. She put me at ease while she introduced me to all the other members of Dr. Koppel’s staff, answered all my questions re: insurance and the navigation of the other related parts of the treatment care plan.  Dr. Koeppel took great pains to work with me to create my unique care plan. He would settle for nothing less than my complete happiness!  He is a doctor who is detail oriented and a perfectionist!!  Even when I was willing to say it’s fine he would not let me go until I met his very high esthetic standards!  How lucky for me because not a week goes by that someone does not complement my beautiful smile!  While the office is always humming I never feel rushed or that I am trying anyone’s patience and I know I have been a challenge at times!  I had only intended to see Dr.Koeppel for my cosmetic issue but I have fallen in love with the entire team so here I will stay for all my dental needs.  Every member of the team is highly professional and committed to making my visits there an “individualized” positive experience.  Ro my dental hygienist has accomplished no small feat when a true dental phobic can not only get to every appointment without tranquilizers and actually say I enjoyed the visit!  Her skilled light touch, kind heart and patience keep me encouraged that I may actually drop out of the dental phobic club!  Maybe fun loving, laughter and kindness are not as important to everyone as it is to me in choosing a dentist, but couple that with professionalism and superior artistry in dentistry and you sure have something to SMILE about!

I have had the worst treatment before seeing Dr. Koeppel. I had been through hell. I called the office and was treated like a VIP. I was helped immediately and the office is so clean, smells wonderful, caring staff from moment I entered. I cannot say enough nice things about this dental practice. I am looking forward to a wonderful relationship and all the help I need.

We were in the car listening to 1010 wins when the announcer mention Dr Ira Koeppel implants.  My daughter needed four implants we figure why not go.  She called and made an appointment.  From the first appointment they made my daughter feel like she was family.  I felt very comfortable with Marie Marsh she is a very easy person to speak to about the procedure that was going to take place.  Ginette is excellent in making sure that while I was waiting I was comfortable.  Dr Ira Koeppel did a great job with my daughter implants she looks beautiful. I recommend them highly.  We live in the Bronx the drive was one hour 1/2 to two depending on the traffic. But it was worth it.   Thanks to all of you my daughter has a beautiful smile.
