Dr. Dean and his staff have made me feel extremely comfortable from day 1. He is more than willing to explain exactly what your dental condition is, and he is able to explain it in layman’s terms quite well. Furthermore, the regular treatments seem to have done more for my dental health than years at my previous dentist’s, and I actually feel great when I leave! I thank Dr. Dean and all the staff at Kois Dentistry for their excellent work.

Hate going to the dentist and always have. The entire practice, which is a family business, works to whatever your needs are. They’re industry leaders and pioneers to a number of procedures and innovating, game changing tools and technologies. I have had check ups, gum grafts and a chipped tooth fixed. Interestingly enough, with the chipped tooth, I had had two previous dentists attempt to fix this, only to the have the filling come out weeks later. I have had the installed by Dr. Kois for a year now. I can recommend this practice without reservation. The Center is located on the shores of South Lake Union, beautiful and a great excuse to have a good lunch after getting your teeth cleaned. Anything you could potentially need done to your teeth save braces can be done here. Oh, and the people are funny.

Before I went to Kois Dentistry it had been 2 years since I had seen a dentist. I had a lot of anxiety about finding and seeing a new dentist. For my age, I’ve had a good amount of work done on my teeth. I was very, very nervous as I had no idea if I needed more work done to fix any issues (a previous dentist did a poor job on one of my crowns). I just had my first visit and looking back on it, there was nothing to be worried about. Everyone at Kois Dentistry is amazing. They made me feel relaxed and none of them were judgmental. Dr. Dean Kois thoroughly examined every inch of my mouth and it turned out my teeth were in great shape…I just needed a cleaning. It put my craziness at ease and was one of the nicest Dr.’s I’ve ever encountered. If you’re scared about going to the dentist or just need a new Dr., don’t hesitate…give Kois Dentistry a call. They’re amazing and I’m so glad I found them.

Following an accident, our family dentist strongly recommended Dr. Kois for prosthodontic work. Our dentist commented that he had had seen Dr. Kois’ work and that he held Dr. Kois in high regard. I’m thankful for the recommendation and that we followed through. Every point of contact with this practice has been exceptional. I sent my first inquiry via email and received a prompt, professional, and genuinely useful response. The follow-up phone call with Stacy at the front desk was equally impressive. She was highly empathetic, personable, and professional. I can’t think of another minor phone conversation that left me with such a strong positive impression. The day of our appointment continued the trend. After being warmly greeted we were seen at the scheduled time. The facilities were immaculate and stylish. I’ve never been in such a beautiful dental clinic before. The dental assistant was friendly and inviting and Dr. Kois himself left a remarkably great impression. After a brief introduction, he listened carefully to our concerns, performed a thorough exam, and discussed our options. Everything about our interaction epitomized a patient centric approach to his practice. Any one of these interactions would have left a good impression, but to have them all with one practice is nothing short of amazing. I can’t recommend Kois Dentistry highly enough.

Since 2014, Dr. Kois and the Kois Dentistry staff have provided me and my wife superb dental care and counsel. We’d been well served over the prior 40 years by a wonderful dentist and his staff. And when he retired we were apprehensive about finding a new dental practice that could deliver excellent professional service and counsel in a manner that was comfortable to us. We got lucky! On a referral from an out of state friend, we contacted Dean and his staff. We had our first consult, exam and cleaning and, well, we never looked any further. Since then, we have received routine dental care and replacement crowns. Terrific results. Final note: talk about a state of the art facility, Kois Dentistry should be a poster child!

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Dean and Tara Kois for over 5 years now and have nothing but rave reviews for them and their staff. They honestly take their time in getting to know their patients, which just goes to show how caring they all are and the type of calming environment that they try to give their patients. I have recommended them to all my friends, family and coworkers who are shopping around for a new dentist!

I was referred to Koi Dentistry by two dentists (one teaches at UW) , both retired not, as one of the best dentists in the State of Washington. Dr. Dean (Prosthodontist) and Dr Roloff (Orthodontist) aren’t just great dentist but also great people, and so is their staff. They are always super nice and friendly. Dr. Dean is one of the best dentists in town. He did the PAOO (Periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics) surgery on me before I started Invisalign with Dr. Roloff. Not the prettiest surgery out there but I completely trusted them. Dr.Roloff gave me a lot of confidence and I couldn’t say no. So glad I did it. My mouth healed perfectly over the next few weeks and thanks to the surgery the invisalign process is going extremely well. Dr. Roloff does an amazing job at tracking the movement progress and keeping the patient informed at all times (I tend to ask a lot of questions). I’ve email her a number of times with questions and she has always responded back within 24 hours. I have never had any issues scheduling appointments of any type and they are always super flexible with times. I really like the email and text reminder notifications previous to any appointment. My hygienist, Dana, she is amazing at her job. Their equipment is the latest and greatest and so is their office, super welcoming and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Koi Dentistry to all my friends, family and anyone who reads this review.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences at Kois Dentistry. Everyone at this office, from the front staff to the hygienists to the dentists are excellent providers and wonderful people. I have had excellent care from Dr. Tara and Dr. Dean Kois and I would recommend them to anyone. I trust them and I value their expertise and experience. Kois Dentistry is an excellent choice for anyone in the Seattle area and beyond looking for great care that they can trust.

Dr. Kois and Dr. Kois! They are absolutely the best! The staff here works in great harmony. Everyone is friendly – you are always greeted with a smile and kind words. The office itself is magnificent. Modern and spotless. And of course what really matters is the quality of care – and that is tops. Dr. Dean and Dr. Tara are top dentists who take enormous pride in their work – and in being there for their patients. They are natural care givers. And Dana, their hygienist, takes her cues from them – she is a perfectionist – and somehow gets your cleaning done with no discomfort. Just big smiles all around.

We have been going to Kois Dentistry for almost 10 yr. and love them. Both Tara and Dean are top notch dentists and so very nice. They have taken great care of both of us over the years and have even come in for emergency appointments when needed. They also have such nice people working for them. We feel very well taken care of every time we go there and actually look forward to our visits. Very thankful we found them.

Fantastic Dental practice! Dana cleaned my teeth this week and was nothing short of phenomenal. Gentle, thorough with an endearing chair-side manner. Dr. Dean and his team are currently working on a long-term treatment plan to repair a front tooth with a dental implant. His plan is well conceived and sensitive to replacing missing teeth. I could not recommend. Kois Dentistry with any higher distinction.

I am still sitting in their lobby waiting for my ride post op but I couldn’t wait to post a review. I was referred to this clinic by two friends of mine who work for the teaching center associated with this clinic. After breaking my perfectly healthy tooth on a piece of pizza several surgeons refused to do the impant surgery because of the location of my sinus nerve. I met with Dr. Dean Kois and he instantly made me feel at ease. He told me I was a candidate for surgery and I scheduled my appointment several months out. I work in healthcare so I hold the practitioners and practices I seek care at to very high standards. This clinic exceeded my expectations. Stacey at the front desk/ financial department is one of a kind. She is genuine, knowledgeable, considerate and really helps you feel at ease when scheduling, making payments and planning future care. I was told the surgery would take about an hour. My boyfriend dropped me off to go get his teeth cleaned down the road. My “complicated” surgery took him less than 30 min! Faster than it took my boyfriend to get his teeth cleaned. Getting oral surgery is not fun at all, but I wouldn’t think twice about doing it over again if Dr. Kois was preforming the surgery. Becki his assistant was top notch. I had a panic attack before showing up because surgery is scary! No matter how routine. She had the most amazing bed side manor, answered all of my questions and really helped me get comfortable pre and post op. They are an incredible team. Overall this is the best experience I have ever had at a dental clinic. So much so that I am going to have them place my crown rather than my normal dentist. I’m even going to fully transfer all my care here for routine cleaning and visits. I really love my old dentist, but I am confident there isn’t any other dentist that comes close to the experience and service they offer here. I am so thankful and so appreciative I found this place. A true gem in the city. If you are are in need of a dentist or oral surgeon do not hesitate calling them! They will help you understand your insurance benefits and will work with you on payment. Kois Dentistry is the most professional yet friendly office I have ever been to. They are prompt and very customer oriented. They are sensitive to patient needs and preferences, and go out of their way to make patients comfortable. Dr. Dean is highly skilled and well respected by his colleagues, and is a bit of a perfectionist – a great trait in a dentist! And his implants are excellent! I have been going to Kois Dentistry for about 10 years and have been totally satisfied and impressed. And Dana, the dental hygienist, is the best! Thorough and patient and considerate. They have an excellent team!
