I was told by my general dentist that I needed a 2nd root canal. We live in NY but live in SC part time.Dr Kotz was in my dads insurance plan. From the first time, we stepped into his office, his staff, Liz and his dental assistant Savanna were amazing. Dr Kotz was beyond professional and sweet during our initial visit. Once root canal was decided, Dr Kotz took X-rays prior and after my first treatment of my 2nd root canal. I went into the procedure with Dr Kotz and Savanna who were both caring, professional and amazing. Savanna asked me if I wanted laughing gas which is an extra fee and I took it both times. After first treatment was completed, Savanna gave me instructions on what to do after and Dr Kotz took the extra step to call my PCP to suggest steroids since I was in so much pain and having so many medical issues My second treatment was exactly the same as the first including the fact that I received instructions again on what to do after the finished root canal. I was also given a mouthwash and a name of general dentist since I’m needing a crown Dr Kotz and his staff went above and beyond wiith numerous calls to see how I was doing and definitely will use them again in a heartbeat if I ever need another root canal.

Root canal is not fun. In fact, it’s probably the worst dental procedure I’ve had to go through. That said, I feel compelled to write a nice review for Dr. Kotz because I was impressed. He and his staff are friendly and professional and they all do their best to make patients feel comfortable. The office is neat, clean, nicely decorated, and quiet. A mix of music styles plays softly in the background. One thing I really appreciated was that the office staff person provided me with a summary sheet showing services and associated costs. Let’s face it, dental work is not cheap, but it helps soften the blow when you get to see how much things will cost before you actually go in for the procedure. It helps that the office also accepts care credit. Do plan for extra travel time because the location is at a very busy, tricky spot along Saint Andrews Boulevard – especially during rush hour. And parking is a little tight. But all in all, if you must have root canal done, I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Kotz.

I cannot say enough great things about this practice. I was able to get a same day appointment via referral due to rapid onset, severe molar pain. This my first and hopefully last root canal but this office made everything so pleasant from the billing to X-rays and even the root canal. They really listened to my concerns with needing extra numming during the procedure and the whole experience was as painless as can be! Thank you Dr. Kotz and staff!

Hands down the best patient care I have ever experienced regarding my teeth. From start to finish everyone was calm, accommodating, thorough and efficient. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. Doctor even called me on Memorial Day weekend to answer questions about my procedure for the following week. I was relaxed and pain free throughout the root canal. I highly recommend this practice!!

The day before I left for Europe I needed an emergency root canal from an infected tooth that was causing the worst pain in my life. The referring dentist called Dr. Kotz at 4pm and they took they took me in as a new patient and stayed late to complete the procedure. After it was over his assistant even told me the Walgreens by their office would fill my prescription immediately. I can’t thank Dr. Kotz and his great staff for taking care of me in a dire situation. Dr. Kotz himself even called a couple days later to check on me. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a dental emergency and was looking for a endodontist to do my root canal. I wanted to make sure I was being seen by the best endodontist around. I had to do my research but in a hurry.I asked around and was told Dr. Kotz was really good. When I called Liz, got me in that afternoon. Both Dr. Kotz and his assistant was very pleasant and thorough on what I needed done and was able to start my procedure same day. He wanted to make sure I didn’t have any issues and didn’t want me to go through the night in pain. I actually fell asleep during the root canal. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is needing a root canal. You will not leave disappointed or in pain.
