Dr. Kouvaris is an orthodontist that provides the best quality of care using new and advanced types of braces. I came to his office interested in Invisalign and he discussed the pros and cons of Invisalign versus using clear braces. Ultimately, I chose Invisalign but feel that I have a much better understanding of treatment options and was able to make the right choice for me. I’m glad I chose Dr. K for my orthodontic treatment and would recommend him  to any other adult or child.

Very pleased with the whole process and treatment. No doubt Dr Kouvaris took his time doing it right. Definitely showed he cares to do the alignment properly, explaining every step in great detail. Even helped getting me the extra set of retainers as originals were not the best fit. Worth every $ over cheap dentist alternatives. Highly recommended!

Excellent staff, cozy space and easy to speak with doctor. Could not ask for a better Ortho treatment. So good we made it a family affair, with both my brother and sister having successful treatment completed. I am the last one left but would very much recommend to other family and friends!

I just finished my Invisalign journey with Dr. Kouvaris! He and all the staff are very professional and friendly! I am very happy that I chose Dr. K! The result is great, couldn’t be more satisfied. He’s very patient to walk me through the whole process in the beginning; answered all my questions, concerns during the treatment to the end. He and his team took care of me very well since 2018 and made sure I am happy, confident with my teeth! This is definitely the best decision and investment I’ve made!

Dr. Kouvaris and his staff are so wonderful! Very nice and welcoming staff who make you feel special. I am 33 years old and never had braces growing up. I chose to have Invisalign done with a very complex cross bite and a ton of crowding! Dr. Kouvaris was just excellent. He thought of different ways to treat me, was creative and patient. I highly recommend him for any orthodontic work especially if you are interested in Invisalign. Before I had my consultation with him, I saw a different orthodontist who had told me that I wasn’t an Invisalign candidate. Well, obviously that’s not the case. I told Dr. Kouvaris this and he stated that, it’s not that I wasn’t a “candidate,” it was that the other orthodontist wasn’t comfortable treating me with Invisalign. Dr. K said adult cross bites are very difficult to treat but it can be done with Invisalign. I’m SO happy with my results! I was also very vigilant and wore them like I was suppose to. Go see Dr. Kouvaris, adults or kids! He is excellent! So happy I found him!

The best Ortho in southbay. I was very nervous and anxious about getting my braces, but since the first visit I had with Dr. Kouvaris I knew that will be there where I wanted to do my braces, the doctor & his staff have been outstanding, I always felt that they offer me their best professional opinion in regards of treatment, they always took time to explain me everything and also very flexible with scheduling the appointments, also one time one of the bands got off and they were very good letting me go back to the clinic to replace it, I really love the way they treat me, I really recommend Kouvaris Orthodontics, I spent a few months looking for a reasonable ortho that has a good rate in prices, and I choose the best one in San Jose, also the good thing that they have other locations like in Cupertino, the staff is always friendly and responsive, on all levels- quality of work, quality of service, and professionalism, Jenifer was very good responding to any question I had via email and by phone, I also like Erika, but in general I love all the staff, it feels like to visit an extra family, I felt very sad when my treatment of the braces came to the end, I was feeling very good every time I had my appointments. If you are looking for a good place to do your braces, this is the place either if you are a young kid, or an older person like me, thank you Dr. Kourvaris & his staff, I really will miss everyone in Kouvaris Orthodontics.

Dr. Kouvaris is an extremely intelligent and personable doctor, that understands the results you want, and is honest and up front on whether or not he can help you. He literally treats all of his patients like family, and recommends treatment accordingly.  I am so happy a website, like Yelp, exists to let everyone know how great of a doctor he is.  If you or your children ever need any work done, he is the only person in the Bay Area I would go to.

I was recommended to several Asian doctors and also Dr. Kouvaris. I met with a few of the Asian places and had a general rushed feeling and that they just wanted my money. However, after meeting Dr. Kouvaris in person, I felt comfortable that my teeth were in good hands! I booked him the day of my initial consultation. … This was 2.5 years ago. The metal and wires came off last week. Yes, my treatment is now over and I have a smile that would make any Ortho proud. I removed 6 teeth and had a K9 sticking out of the front, not pretty and not an easy case. Dr. Kouvaris came up with a treatment plan for me and would settle for nothing less than perfection – no matter how much I pushed and whined. He is a perfectionist to the core and I thank him now. I mainly came in for my appointments on Fridays — his staff always greeted me with smiles and accommodated my schedule whenever they could. I highly recommend Dr. Kouvaris and his staff. They are great professionals that cater to the needs of their patients.

We love Dr. K! Both my kids are going through treatment here and actually look forward to going to their appointments. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and super accommodating. I’ve recommended Kouvaris Orthodontics to co-workers and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

Dr. Kouvaris and his entire staff are amazing. I am finishing my Invisalign treatment with them and I am so happy that I transferred to this office. I initially started Invisalign in Los Angeles and my previous dentist would not let me transfer to an orthodontist in the Bay Area without paying for another lump sum for a treatment that I had already previously paid for in it’s entirety. I felt like I was taken advantage of, and Dr. Kouvaris and his staff were completely helpful in giving me advice and what steps I should take in order to have a smooth transition to their office. The receptionist was so kind to look at my email exchanges with my previous dentist and were honest and prompt with their feedback. I felt like their staff  really heard me and were committed to giving me feedback and check up on me. I couldn’t be more grateful for their advice during this stressful time of transitioning care during COVID. I honestly could not have asked for a better team and I am more than satisfied with their care, professionalism, and overall so happy on how my teeth turned out as well. I couldn’t recommend a better orthodontist. I am so happy I found this office.

Okay, so I’ve only been here once, for a consultation, but I have a very positive impression of Dr. Kouvaris and his staff. I decided I wanted Invisalign. Vain, maybe, but I’ve never been completely happy with my smile, and while I’m not willing to spend a year or two with actual braces, the nearly invisible (and quite more expensive) Invisalign seemed like a good solution. I found Dr. Kouvaris through Yelp, and since his office is only a couple of miles from my house, I decided to give it a go. Dr. Kouvaris is great — very knowledgeable, and willing to sit down and really explain what treatment will entail, without talking down to you or using a bunch of technical terms. I felt very comfortable with him. His staff is also great — very friendly and efficient. His assistant ran my insurance information to see what it would cover without me even having to ask. I’ll come back and update as my treatment progresses, but so far, so good.
