I have been very pleased with the care I’ve gotten at Kumfer Family Dental. In the midst of a severe pandemic, the measures they have taken to ensure a safe experience have been adequate. All the staff have done their job professionally. Dr. Kumfer is always very personable and pleasant. I’ve gotten great care during my years with this practice!

After a recent unpleasant visit to another Southside dentist we decided after many recommendations to go to Kumfer Family Dental. What a great experience we had. The office staff were accommodating and kind upon arrival and very helpful over the phone when I called to make the appointment. My 7 year old needed some dental work done and Dr.Kumfer was so patient with him while explaining everything to him as he was doing it. I didn’t feel rushed and he spent a lot of time with us after answering all of our questions. What a great experience! We will be new patients for sure!

My son loves his dentist visits and so do I! Clean, efficient, and exceptional patient care by all! I was nervous to take a child to the dentist but the patience and compassion was next level! After my childhood dentist retired, I hopped around to several dentists in the Indy area that had good reviews only to have subpar experiences and to be recommended treatments that felt unnecessary. By the time I discovered Kumfer Family Dental, I was pretty defeated and honestly terrified of the dentist due to these other experiences. But, from the minute I walked in, that started to change. Everyone from the front desk to Allison (hygienist) to Dr. Kumfer himself are incredibly welcoming and professional, and they work quickly and efficiently. I have moved out of state but still plan to come back for cleanings whenever I am in town because of how great they have been to me. Thanks Kumfer Family Dental for doing things the right way!

I’ve had a lot of issues with previous dentists, such as poor quality work and shady billing. Kumfer Family Dental is the first office I’ve been to where I’ve had all the billing explained in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, Dr. Kumfer was able to complete the work that was needed with no pain! My last appointment went so well that I was surprised when he said he was done. Usually I have a lot of pain during dental work. This time EVERYTHING went smoothly! I’ve finally found a great dentist, and I look forward to my upcoming visits.

I found Kumfer Family Dental after moving to Greenwood when I needed a dentist that could accommodate different hours. I love that this office is open on Saturdays and evenings! It makes scheduling appointments around work so much easier. I also love that you can use an online scheduler — it’s so convenient! Every employee at Kumfer Family Dental is so nice and welcoming. They are so friendly and easy to talk to. Like many others, the dentist isn’t my favorite place in the world, but they make it as enjoyable as possible here! It’s comfortable and they have TVs to watch while sitting in the patient chairs. I will definitely continue to come here and I recommend anyone in the market for a new dentist to come check them out too.

From first contact through end of visit, our experience with this practice was out of ordinary. That is a good thing! Ordinary to me means waiting months for a new patient appoint. It means spending more time with a hygienist than the dentist. It means seeing the dentist for 2 minutes while they count your teeth and tell you everything is great. None of that happened here. I explained my concerns, there were listened to and addressed in a manner that was comforting and educational. All of the staff were very pleasant, professional and helpful. Dr. Kumfer spent time actually looking at the teeth and discussing what needed to be done. If you are in the market for a new dentist, as I was, look no further than Kumfer Family Dental.

I recently had to find a new dentist when my previous dentist of of 15 years moved his office further than I wanted to drive. A friend mentioned trying Kumfer Dental and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Dr. Kumfer and his staff are very nice and friendly. The office is very clean and the equipment he uses are so much newer than what my previous dentist had used. One of the things I like about Kumfer Dental are their hours. Since my work day usually last until 5-ish, I am still able to make late appointments and sometimes even on weekends.
