This place has truly been great. Very friendly, accommodating, and do great work. The most important thing though is they are honest! I’d really like to thank Krystal and Dr. Sara for handling a billing discrepancy in a timely and professional manner…… I recently had a scare with billing and was hit with a $1,800 bill from my insurance company for services that were supposed to be covered. This really bothered and upset me more than you know because I had been so clear about my desire to only do work that’s was covered as none of the services were urgent. I contacted the insurance company and they said I had to deal with the dentist. LUCKILY it seems they have good people running the office and Krystal was able to contact me and take responsibility for the mistake within 24 hours. She said it was their fault and that I was not responsible for any of the charges. This was such a burden lifted as I’m sure she could have just said “oh well, we have your signature” and forced me to fend for myself and fight this in other ways ……. Thank you guys for being honest in your practice and because of this I will definitely be coming back.

Plaque Is wack! I am petrified of the dentist but dr. ..I don’t remember his name (thanks nitrous) was extremely gentle, and aware of my comfort seemingly at every second. I would go back again if I had to, and I do (sad face) for more work, and I will. On Feb 5th, you should all come too. They have whippet tanks!

I don’t leave many 5 star reviews, but they earned it. Took my two teens in today for exam, cleaning and x-rays. THE SPECIAL $59 OFFER IS THE REAL DEAL—NOT A GIMMICK. They suggested a fluoride treatment for my son and I gladly accepted for $39. I signed for EVERYTHING before it was done so no surprises or trickery. Note: we also got out in half the time I’d budgeted. Nice! I’d called many dentists prior to this one and was appalled by one who quoted $521 for a dental exam (must’ve hit the laughing gas just before taking my call because that’s ridiculous) and another who quoted a hard-to-believe $29 for exam and x-rays—well, that’s because he wanted a guaranteed deep cleaning for $289 PER QUADRANT. Both of those offers were insulting. La Canada Smiles was great. I have complete confidence and already scheduled our next six month check up!

Great modern place with wonderful staff that’re really skilled and easy to chat with. I also really love my dentist, Caroline Girard. She is really helpful, very realistic, and doesn’t push things you don’t need. Will keep coming so long as she is here!!

Ok so I never give reviews, but I feel compelled to give an honest perspective on La Canada Smiles Dentistry. I have had many bad experiences going to different Dentist offices before, with that being said the Smiles office is a pleasure to visit. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Krystal the office manager at the front desk is a joy to work with, she’s very professional and a sweet kind person. Joel at the front desk is equally awesome. The office is clean with high quality equipment and their prices are not inflated, they are the going rate. The office is in a great location with easy access and plenty of parking. The Dentist are friendly, don’t waste your time, and they have many options and discounts for those on a budget or without dental insurance. And there’s one guy (sorry didn’t catch your name man!) Who is a dentist/ assistant/specialist, he’s great! Lots of positive energy, keeps things upbeat. All in all the best experience I’ve ever had at a Dentist and I’m someone who hates going to the Dentist lol. Thank you to the whole staff at La Canada Smiles.

This dental office is awesome. The entire staff are friendly and instantly make you feel comfortable. They are there to help and assure you that its their goal to assist you with whatever dental issue you may have, I was extremely nervous and they were very patient with me. If you need something done and you like myself don’t have dental insurance do not hesitate stop by La Canada Smiles Dentistry. I had a big dental issue and they worked with me to come up with an EXTREMELY affordable payment plan. Everyone there was so great to work with it made it the best visit I’ve ever had to a dentists office. I walked in with a broken filling and walked right back out all fixed up. Like I said before if you have an issue don’t hesitate give them a call today they’ll work with you with whatever your concerns are and I appreciated them more because they didn’t try to sell me anything. They got to the point and answered any questions I had.

I can’t say that I’m a fan of going to the dentist and of course that’s due to pain or bad experiences. I had some major pain and needed some work done and I have to say that this office is top notch ! From May ain’t my appt to going in and having work done everyone deserves an A+. The Dentist Dr Oktanyan was so caring and kind and sensitive to my issues. The financial coordinator was also caring and seemed like she wanted to help me and she did. The thing for me is that a job is a job, some people skate by and just do the minimum that’s required, but when you as a person are treated with kindness and not just like a client , you get return patients! Like me! I never thought that I would say I love going to the dentist, but I love going to the Dentist. As a follow up I want to add that I went for an appt today again and their service is spectacular. Lisa the manager was absolutely incredible with my daughter, she gave her some paper and colors to keep her busy while she’s in the room with me. Dr Oktanian was also incredibly nice and put cartoons while we wait. I felt embarrassed since this is a professional office and I don’t have a sitter for my child, but I wouldn’t be able to come otherwise but they we so sweet! The procedure was quick and painless and I am a wimp when it comes to pain! Thanks again!

Best dentist office around– staff is friendly and helpful, Jasmine the benefits coordinator was able to switch my new insurance to cover my filing right there in the office with no issues. The dentists are knowledgable and take a conservative approach– they do everything they can to keep my teeth healthy and intact! Also the least painful procedures I’ve ever had. We started coming here a few years ago when a huge chunk of my husband’s tooth fell out. We were pretty sure that he was in for a root canal or the entire tooth would have to go– but Dr. Oktanyan was able to save the tooth with just a filling and he hasn’t had any issues with it since. Great office, very clean and friendly staff.

I have to say this place is amazing they are super sensitive and delicate with your teeth which is a super big thing for me because I am a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist who isn’t? All I have to say is everybody is super welcoming and nice friendly even explain to me how my insurance works which is much less of a mystery now scheduling appointments is easy and simple and I would recommend this place to anybody these guys are five star place No doubt about it I come all the way from Pasadena and I will stay coming there because all of the apartment is super up-to-date all in house and the doctors take your time its a no rush feel and I love it! I had the luxury of getting my teeth cleaned by Sol she is Wonderful and super delicate with your mouth Thanks! No that wasn’t enough they have TVs while you’re getting your teeth cleaned what better way to get your mind off of getting cleaned than watching TV! Amazing place can’t wait to came back and I never said that About a dental office!
