I came here for some general teeth cleaning last month. Scheduling with them was super easy and quick, no complications like I’ve had before with other dentists. I arrived on the date of the appointment and the staff greeted and I waited until I was called by the dentist to a room. After a couple minutes of waiting I had to switch to another room but it was no biggie, I liked the second one better lol. My teeth was then cleaned and the people taking care of me were warm and receptive to my questions. I had a great time and a great experience. As a plus this is also my roommate’s dentist and for months I would wake up to his loud teeth grinding at night. It was a problem. He had used night guards before but none were comfortable for him, however the night guard given by this dentist last week works like a miracle for him and me. No more teeth grinding and more sleep for me.

We were cautious at first to visit a dentist especially during COVID, but we felt very safe when reading over they have taken precautions having HEPA Filters in their office not just air-conditioning to improve air ventilation, antimicrobial mouthwash before start of procedures, and a few other steps they have taken to reduce the risk of transmissions between patients and staff. Second it help that they have done my brother’s root canals a couple of years ago and told us to that they are very good at making it PAINLESS and at a FAIR price. So we ended up here first to help with my sister tooth that cracked that same day and ending up calling them to schedule a visit that same day which ended up needing a root canal treatment. Again you expect a root canal treatment to be very painful but they did OUTSTANDING work on not making it painful at all for her. She is wearing a temp crown for now until she receives her crown in a few weeks so far it’s been pretty soon. A good heads up for those looking for treatment, probably best to do a whitening before getting that crown because a permanent crown don’t work well with whitening treatments. So in that case, she did the zoom treatment and then chose the shade color of her crown. It was all very new to us but we are very happy that they listen to our concerns and answered a lot of our questions. As for me, I did end up going here for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction shortly after my sister’s treatment. They are a lifesaver as I was having trouble eating and sleeping due to the pain I was getting from the wisdom tooth and they did all of very painless! Thank you to the amazing dentist and staff for the wonderful experiences and helping us on our treatment plans during a time of need and quality care.

I’m a longtime patient at LA Smiles and have always found the staff and service to be patient centered and professional. The front office staff as well as back office staff show patience and concern whether it’s regarding financial matters or any procedures to be performed. There’s no such thing as “it hurts so good” but, two fillings took all of 10 mins and the anesthetic really didn’t hurt. LA Smiles is a winner in my book and if you don’t have insurance, you can purchase there at a seriously reasonable cost. Shout to Robin, Rosie and Geri and the rest of the crew!

There really isn’t anything negative to say about the experience (other than the loud drilling noises but I assume that’s unavoidable). The dentists are all extremely nice and careful with you at all times. They make sure to get to know you and check in on how you’re doing constantly. At other offices you feel a pressure to keep my mouth open and keep going no matter what, but you always feel like you can stop at any time. Doctor Michelle is unbelievable as are the rest of the team. Would highly recommend for you and your family!

I’m a big chicken when it comes to needles. No re-phrase, I just have a phobia. Honestly I found this place in a whom because my parents once were patients, but under previous owners. Since coming here, I have to say for now, IM NOT GOING ANY PLACE ELSE! You would have to come here for yourself. I just know, I’m a picky person, sometimes a little too judgemental. La Smiles has a patient for life. I would show you a picture of my pearly whites but my pic looks bad. But I love my teeth. I thought they were white, til I got a cleaning. Mind you, cleaning not whitening. I highly recommend La Smiles. On La brea!

Dr. Michelle did veneers on 6 of my upper front teeth. I had old bindings that were partially broken & stained. I was very self-conscios about my smile. After the first visit, she did wax-up for me for I can see how my teeth will look like after veneer. After I approved she did veneer for me. I love my smile now & I can’t stop smiling.

I am a very picky person. I came to this office because my dad advised me to. Since day one I’ve loved it. I’m very much afraid of needles but every time I had to get a shot they made me comfortable. Everyone in the office is very professional and friendly. They treat as family. Always greeted with the smile. Every dental procedures that I advertising done has been top notch. From this day forward I don’t see myself leaving this office. I recommend this office for whatever procedure that they offer specially dental implants. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. You guys are great! Thanks for everything.
