I have been going to Laguna Beach Dental for years and cannot say enough great things about this office. Every time I go in, I’m greeted with beautiful smiles and the kindest team.
Everyone in this office is WONDERFUL. Christina will help you right off the bat. She’s knowledgeable, incredibly fast and so warm. She also has the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen.
I visit Allen every 4-6 months for a cleaning and he couldn’t be more amazing. He’s fun, upbeat and has a great laugh.
I usually see Dr. Buehler for my checkups. As far as dentists go, he is the best of the best. He and the team have transformed what it means for me to go to the dentist.
I just recently found out that Dr. Buehler sold the practice. I went in today for a cleaning and to meet with Dr. Taherian, the new owner. Dr. Buehler is fantastic, but I have to say, Dr. Taherian is equally so. She was right away so thoughtful, caring and perceptive. She identified my cracked tooth and fit me in same day for repair. Cathy and Maria were helping her all the way and are true gems. The end result was absolutely stunning.
If you’re looking for a new dentist, Laguna Beach Dental Group is the place to go. If you’re just looking for a cleaning and checkup or if you need a little cosmetic care, Dr. Taherian and the team will make you feel right at home. They are kind, gentle and expertly skilled. They have incredible cosmetic capabilities and state of the art technology with even same day ceramic crown repair. I can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Taherian and these amazing folks gave me my smile back. I have always been religious about dental hygiene but through the years my gums had receded and my grinding had altered my mouth to the point that I stopped showing teeth with my smile. I just moved to the area and at my first appt Dr. Taherian took the time to review my x-rays and answered all my questions. When I told her how embarrassed I was with my uneven teeth, she assured me she could fix it all. It was scary but I trusted her and her professional team and they delivered beyond my dreams. Every member of this staff has been friendly and helpful and Maria was at my side throughout the 2 weeks of temporary and permanent bridges and crowns. I can’t recommend Laguna Beach Dental enough. Just thinking about them, makes me want to smile.

I have been coming here for several years. Every experience I have had has been a positive one as respects the people who work in this office and the results of the work done. I could not ask for better service from the minute I walk in the door to the end of my treatment. I’m in the process of having my entire mouth rebuilt – the process is long, but not too long and I have to say that I have been treated with the utmost care and kindness during every procedure. The latest being 4 implants. Each procedure has gone beautifully and I appreciate the time taken to make me feel comfortable as I am terrified of Dentists. I have gotten over this fear because of their treatment of me. I honestly cannot praise them enough or thank them enough.

I very much dislike going to the dentist, because my teeth need so much work. Additionally, I was stationed in Asia for many consecutive years and have lived out of the local area. As a result, I neglected professional care for my teeth until I could no longer bear to do so. Over the course of the past couple of months however, Dr Taherian and her professional staff have consistently performed outstanding and personalized care for my teeth. Dr Taherian is a truly outstanding dentist who goes out of her way to make every procedure as painless as possible. I commend her for that, because I have had terribly painful experiences with other dentists, despite the multiple shots of numbing medication. I would also like to mention that her (…) dental assistant, who has prepared and set all of my temporary crowns, is also the most professional and caring assistant that I have ever encountered. Although the price of my many crowns were ‘pricey’, her staff accommodated me with an interest free payment plan. In my view, Dr Taherian (and her staff) are wonderful and I highly recommend her dental services!

Amazing group!! I hate going to the dentist but everyone here so warm, welcoming and comforting. First of all, Martha is so helpful when you first make an appointment. Cory (sp?), my hygienist, was wonderful! I had some common pregnancy related dental issues and she was just so comforting. Dr. Taherian was great too even though I didn’t spend as much time with her as I did with Cory. Overall a wonderful experience. Clean office and modern equipment. Plenty of parking too.

I recently rec’d. 4 new crowns and I just have to say that I have never been so “unafraid” in a dentist’s chair as I was in this facility. The self -confidence and knowledge of all things dental displayed by Dr. Taherian did more to relieve my anxiety than any medication could possibly do…I have never felt “safer” in the hands of a dentist. I came to this office thanks to my aunt’s recommendation after I moved cross country. The office is clean, modern and nice. The staff is extremely pleasant, professional and accommodating with your schedule (thank you!!!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that) they’ve extremely knowledgeable and helpful in any way possible, they’ve gotten me approved for financing which ended up boosting my credit substantially. Office visits are quick, nice and productive. Dr. Taherian is technically skilled and I don’t give out that praise easily – my last dentist was not great to say the least (reviewing that office next). From their financing, actual dental work done to their options of communication (they offer text notifications), this office is the top of the line. Can’t say enough good stuff. I haven’t had a regular check up or visit for almost 3 years. I’m 20 years old, on my own since 17 and I’m really use to people taking advantage of me because of my age. So Knowing I was very over due, I wanted to get myself checked. I walked in and everyone was super, super friendly. Bic, Who took my X-rays, was so sweet and gentle with me, it was fast and easy getting X-rays done. Dr. Taherian was an absolute pleasure to meet. By far the best dentist I have ever visited. She made me so comfortable, we had warm-hearted conversations and she made me feel like I can trust her with my health. Jen, the hygienist, was so sweet and gentle when checking my teeth, i barely felt any pain! It was like visiting family honestly. Martha was extremely helpful in helping me understand all of my payment options, and explaining my insurance to me, no fear in paying here!
I’m still young! Im learning a lot! They made me feel educated and definitely won my trust. I plan on coming here Regularly and trusting them when I need care and advice. Also, definitely recommending all friends and family. Called my mom right away! Haha. Thank you so much Laguna Niguel dental!

Love this place. I went for the first time today. I’m new to the area, but my husband’s family has been going for years. I have to get a couple things done over the course of the next month– which would typically be overwhelming– but it surprisingly not a big deal. Martha was so kind and warm when assisting me in helping me understand my insurance coverage and what I should expect to pay. She explained EVERYTHING. She went above and beyond to make sure I knew what I needed to know. She also took the time to ask about my family– and seemed genuinely interested and so sweet! Let’s be honest not many people like going to the dentist but Laguna Niguel Dental Group made it pretty OK. The front office folks were great from the minute I called to make an appointment, to being able to submit my forms online (which made check-in less than 5 minutes) and being greeted the morning of my appointment. Shane, Reema and Dr. Taherian were fantastic when it came time to x-ray, clean and check my teeth. Everyone was professional, kind and patient (I had a lot of questions). I have to go back in a few weeks for a partial crown (I had a deep cleaning this appointment and that’s all I could handle :)). I am looking forward to going back as I know I will be treated well. I really don’t understand the bad reviews, I never waited longer than a day for a call back or email response and everyone was extremely professional and kind. I did look at a couple of people who gave the office a bad review and realized they don’t like anyone/anyplace, they scored almost every place they had ever been a low score. Maybe they are the problem and not this office (just sayin’). The office is very clean and welcoming.

I do not write Yelp reviews BUT this is the best dental office I have ever been to! The receptionists are friendly and professional. Martha, the financial coordinator is outstanding. She will work with you for payment plans. Dr. Taherian is the best. Due to years of wear, my front teeth were chipping and cracking. I finally had to have crowns put on my front six teeth. I was scared that they would look fake and like porcelain. I couldn’t be happier!! They look great and I have received so many compliments about my smile. Seriously do not know how anyone could have a bad review for this office.

I have honestly referred several friends to this office over the years. I first discovered Laguna Niguel Dental about 6 years ago when one of my teeth broke. From my first visit with her, Dr. Taherian has been terrific. She is a totally skilled professional with a great deal of compassion. She was able to save my tooth. I was thrilled with her work then and through the present with all she has done regarding my dental care.
During the past 6 years, I have had other dental needs that included a root canal and a dental implant. Laguna Niguel Dental’s specialists did a superb job addressing both of these dental problems as well.
Nobody wants to have dental problems, but when they arise it’s great to have the professionals at this office fix them. Or better yet, prevent them when possible.

Dr. Shabnam is a great dentist and an honest one. Another dentist had told me I had 5 cavities and needed (expensive dental) work. I thought that was strange since I take good care of my teeth and and I never usually have any cavities, so I went to Dr. Shabnam for a a second opinions as she came highly recommend by a friend. After reviewing my xrays and inspecting my teeth she told be the other dentist was (mistaking) and there is nothing wrong with my teeth. Don’t get ripped off by (dishonest) dentist, go see Dr. Shabnam instead.
