I absolutely love the entire staff at Lake Dental! The receptionists are lovely and they actually remember who you are. I live out of town but visit my family in Vegas periodically, so I’m not able to schedule my appointments ahead of time. The receptionists always put me on their wait list when I let them know I am visiting and they are always able to schedule me in for my 6-month cleanings! A previous review states that you have to schedule 3 months in advance for appointments. Well, that is because their dental hygienists are so stinking good at their job! I usually get a different hygienist every time, and I’ve enjoyed every experience. They are meticulous and are very careful with your cleaning. I’ve never had a painful experience. Dr. Emily is warm and welcoming. This is the third dentist I’ve seen in the 12 years I’ve lived in Vegas, and she is by far the best one. Dr. Emily takes the time to explain everything to you, she is gentle when using anesthesia or filling cavities, and she is very pleasant to talk to. If you are looking for a new dentist, definitely visit Lake Dental!

As a new patient and someone that hasn’t seen a dentist in 5 years, Dr. Emily and her staff were amazing and totally understanding. Everyone in that office is extremely friendly, helpful, and funny too! I’m glad I had this first appointment with Dr. Emily and would definitely recommend her to others!

Love Dr. Emily and her staff….she was very patient and answered all questions/concerns that I had… while performing the procedure, she explained each step, which really diminished a lot of the nervousness I was experiencing…I was most impressed that her numbing technique didn’t hurt at all (considering I’m terrified of needles)… Her assistant was very helpful also and informative with each step she performed… I would highly recommend Dr. Emily to everyone. The office manager took the time to break down the cost of each procedure, what my insurance paid and exact what I would be responsible for…unlike other offices I’ve visited that would just do work and you receive a “surprise” amount later…

With the help from our great friends and their personal referral to Dr. Emily, I came in with a broken/missing front tooth and multiple dental problems. When I smiled, I looked like a homeless person. I love to smile and am always a happy person. The problem: I’m retired, on a fixed income, have good medical, but absolutely no dental insurance. Dr. Emily and her staff were great. Dr. Emily examined my x-rays and developed a plan of action. She not only is an accomplished dentist, but very concerned that I was pain-free during any procedure.. She presented a warm, personal and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Emily for any dental problems that you may have.

The staff includes Cary, the manager and receptionist, has had over 20 years experience and can help with any treatment, insurance questions. Sam is our main dental assistant who is well trained and is helpful to all patients' concerns. Mary and Allison are the 2 highly qualified hygenists. Both have a combined 30 years experience in dental hygiene . The office also offer nitrous oxide patients who are a bit anxious of the procedure. The goal of our office is to provide you and your family the highest quality of dental care in a professional, comfortable and gentle manner. Dr. Emily Mangohig-Wenzel (Dr. Emily, for short) has been serving the Las Vegas Community since 2000. She and her staff at Lake Dental are commited to give every patient the best dental care in a professional and gentle manner. Lake Dental has been serving the Las VEgas community since 1985. Through continuing education and state of the art equipment, the staff is able to offer the highest level of dental care. Dr. Emily comes from a family of dentist of which her mother being the foremost. She has been teaching at UCLA Dental School since 1996. She graduated from UCSF Dental School, the top rated public dental school on the nation, in 1985 after finishing her Bachelors of Science from UCLA. Dr. Emily, also has been practicing dentistry in California since 1985. Her dedication to her field has allowed her extra training and education to deliver the best dentistry can offer.
