Given as a “word of mouth” referral. The location was fine, unexpected as its appearance isn’t one of a “traditional” dentist office. The office was clean, tidy, and warm, helpful in calming my “dentist” jitters”. The receptionist was professional in the “friendly, nice to meet you” kind of way. I pre-filled my application online which made my wait time minimal. The support staff was quick to introduce themselves, listening to the details of my visit. I quickly notices the cleanliness of the procedure room. All tools were wrapped in plastic, and set neatly with all needed items. These small details matter, they just do. The doctor was clear, took time to listen and explain the procedure that would take place all while training a young lady. I was impressed by her light conversation on Milwaukee, city culture, and music it lightened the ” dentist blues”. The follow up care and concerns were addressed with no pressure. Word of mouth is the best compliment you can give a business. I’ll be sharing this experience as it truly was a pleasure.

Everyone at Lakeshore is always incredibly friendly and reassuring, which I appreciate a lot. Both doctors that have worked on my teeth readily explained exactly what and why they are doing in each operation, and all of the staff has been very helpful and knowledgeable as well when it comes to that. The quality of work and lack of pain afterwards is really top level as well, I have been very happy with it, and their membership plan helps out as someone who doesn’t have dental insurance. They are also the best when it comes to keeping your appointment times and getting you taken care of promptly! When I have a 5:00 appointment, I am usually checked in at 5:00. I highly recommend Lakeshore and thank you to all of the staff!

I haven’t seen a dentist in years because I have an extreme phobia but Dr LaManna is amazing. Being a nurse, I look for ones bedside manner and she has, well in her case, chair side manner lol. She creates great rapport with her patients and she made me feel very comfortable and was very nonjudgmental. I feel like I made a great choice coming to office.

Dr Abbey is the best! She has helped me through a few dental emergencies (crowns & root canals) and handles the normal things too. My new night guard fits perfectly. I looked them up on my provider network and, that same day, was able to get scheduled in to see someone as well as set up a teeth cleaning appointment 2 days later. Safe to say this will be my new dental place, as my previous dentistry that i’ve been going to for over 18 years said they couldn’t get me in until next year February! All the staff I encountered here was very nice and courteous. I love the constant availability and that they offer “emergency” appointments for tooth problems. They keep in touch very often, whether it’s reaching me by email or via text message to remind me about my appointment or anything else. Highly recommend this place!

I’m a new patient, and in comparison to other dental experiences the whole experience was great – as great as a dental cleaning can be, you know? The dental hygienist was careful not to hurt you. She made small talk, but she didn’t make you talk while they were working on your teeth – which you know can be awkward. I saw the dentist, Emily. She was nice and explained what work needed to be done. Everyone explained what costs with insurance would be instead of just surprising you with it in the end. Lastly, I didn’t have to wait long!

I love going to see Dr. Abbey. She is always patient with me and let’s me know what to expect. I like that she makes me feel very comfortable. My teeth have been cared for by Dr. Abbey for 9 years and they look great. I’ve never had to have her re do anything, as she’s very particular about doing everything right the first time! Dr. LaManna and her staff at Lakeshore Family Dentistry in Glendale were very courteous and professional. I didn’t have to wait very long for my appointment. The dental hygienist was extremely thorough with the cleaning and polishing of my teeth as well as the x-ray and physical exam of my teeth and gums. Dr. LaManna takes the time to explain everything that is going on with your teeth and gums. She also made sure to give me information about how to rectify any problems that I was having with my teeth. I would highly recommend the Lakeshore Family Dentistry office! I don’t care to go to the dentist for it has not always been a good experience for me. I have found that I will probably be going to the dentist a lot more often now that I have found that Dr. LaManna and her staff. They made me feel comfortable and not afraid to come back.

Apparently I missed the boat on the free electric toothbrush from what the other reviewers mentioned but it is a 5 star nonetheless. I saw great reviews for Dr. Lamanna and decided to give her a shot. I’ve been going there for years now and have been nothing but impressed. She and her team are very friendly and are willing to spend as much time as needed to help. I’ve had many cavities and fillings over the years but haven’t seen any uptick in the frequency of needing to get work done since going to Dr. Lamanna.

Dr. Abbey and her staff were the absolute best! They were all so welcoming to a first time patient, and they put me at ease right away. Dr. Abbey took the time to explain everything clearly to me. Her bedside manner is off the charts! I had absolutely no pain getting a couple of cavities cared for. And she also fitted me with a retainer that is just the right size because her staff did a great job taking impressions. As a result, the retainer is very comfortable to wear. Her office in Glendale is right off the I94 freeway and easy to get to, and her office itself is bright and clean. Dr. Abbey has an infectious positive attitude that carries over to her staff, and it is evident that her staff adores her. I highly recommend Dr. Abbey as a top-rated dentist and I can see why she was voted as one of Milwaukee’s top dentists.

I’m so happy to have found a dentist that can see not only myself and my husband, but my children as well. Dr. Abbey and her staff were accommodating and friendly. My appointment started with up to date digital x-rays and finished with a very thorough cleaning and check-up. When I returned for my dental treatment I was very nervous, but it was pain free and comfortable.. Everything was explained to me thoroughly during each visit. We are so happy to have finally found a dentist office that feels inviting and relaxing. I feel very confident we found the BEST dentist in the Glendale, Whitefish Bay and Fox Point area. Everyone is so very nice. They explain everything in detail. They take their time and answer any questions that I had. I hate needles and the dentist waited patiently until I was was ready for her to numb me. She was very gentle with doing my root canal. I didn’t have any pain once the numbing went down. They got me in in one day due to my pain. You enter a spotless home like building, and immediately have someone working on you. At least that was what I experienced. I was pleased with the experience, and actually look forward to my overdue cleaning in a week ! I expect it will be close to the same then. Masks and shields were used by who ever worked on me. After the exam was completed, I was explained the problem in full, making sure I understood.

My eight year old son had a very dramatic rollerblading accident in which he broke his two front adult teeth. Dr. LaManna spent the Sunday evening with us on the phone managing his care and calming our fears. She even spoke with the Emergency room Doctor’s at Children’s Hospital to make sure all of the appropriate steps were taken. The following morning she had already set up his referral appointment with an Endodontist. She then moved around her schedule to fix his teeth. His teeth look like the accident didn’t even happen! She was amazing and we are all so grateful! The best part is that even after all of this dental work our son still loves her. She’s that GREAT!

I was previously at Forward Dental (located on Port Washington Road) and they had horrible customer service and made mistakes in my mouth that Dr. LaManna now has to fix. I had a great experience at Lakeshore Family Dentistry today. Not only did I receive a free electric toothbrush but I had an experience like no other before. I’ve had several bad experiences with dentists and Dr Abbey has renewed my faith. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and easily around my work schedule. I was greeted with warm smiles from all staff members. The office manager and hygienist are incredibly knowledgable in their respective fields. My exam was overwhelmingly thorough, I’ve never been checked for oral cancer before. I have a few small cavities to take care of and was able to see them on the X-rays and camera. I have a new found understanding of dental home care and how my diet affects my teeth. I am actually looking forward to caring for my teeth and my future appointments. My family and friends will be heading there too!
