I’ve been to Dr. Antanesian for years. I’ve had bad experience with several dentist in the area and this is the only dentist I will go to. Even my 10 year old is happy with this dentist. I have had to have some major things done even a implant at one time and I’ve never had any issues with his work. the girls in the office are very nice and I have never had a surprise regarding payment. The Dr. always know what my insurance will cover and makes sure I understand the rest. I recently moved to Ventura and I’m driving all the way back to Simi for this dentist.

I have been going to Lakewood Cerritos Dental Centers for 7 years now and couldn’t be happier with the staff, as well as the services i receive everytime i go. I feel very lucky that every time i call to make an appointment Lety helps me, she is a very nice person and that speaks highly of the office.  From that first call, to everyone in the office, including my dentist, they are very professional and kind! The staff takes time to explain the treatment plan to me and let me know my options.  I highly recomend this office for your dental needs

I took my dad to Dr. Antanesian for implant consultation. Dr. Antanesian was very informative and educational in his explenation. My dad has many missing teeth on his upper jaw. We went to few dentist and they wanted to charge him an arm and a leg and they told us he will need 6 implants and 10 crowns to restore his mouth. Dr. Antanesian told us that is one option and our other option would be 4 implans and 6 crowns that would restore my dads ability to chew and funtion to 95% capacity. He placed all the implants himself and restored them with two bridges. My dad is a happy camper and he is very satisfied with the result and we spend half the money other dentist were trying to charge us. This dentist is an honest guy, very professional and knowledgeable and very fair. We have recommanded him to many of our friends and family members and they all have great things to say about Dr. Antanesian and his staff. Thank you Dr. Antanesian

Excellent dental office, dentist and staff. My experience was excellent at Dr. Antanesian’s office. I have lived in simi valley most my life and been to many dental offices and clinics. His office was one of the offices that was the most efficient. they did ask me in the operatory as soon as I got in the office sat me down and took x rays. He did a through examination of my teeth and informed me that I have no cavities and I only needed a regular cleaning. The privious dental office told me I needed 5000.00 dollars worth of cleaning and cosmetic work and I need two implants that would cost me7000.00 dollars. I have been trying to find a dental office with reasonable fees for implants so I can offord placing two implants. That is when Dr. Antanesian informed me that he can actually place the two implants and place the crowns on my two implants for 3500 dollars for both my missing teeth. I was amazed to learn that there are still dental offices that do care for the patient so much. They even helped me to apply for financing and I was approved for the amount. Let me tell you about my experience on the day of surgery for placing the implants. I was in and out of Dr. Antanesian’s office in an hour. he numbed me totally,placed the implants and gave me a through explanation of how to take care of the implants. Since he has placed two crowns on my implants and I am able to eat my food and chew on them just like my own teeth. I did not have any discomfort after the surgery and I was amazed how easy it was to have implants done by Dr. Antanesian. I had heard horror stories about implant placment but my experience was nothing like what I had heard before in Dr. Antanesian’s office. Thank you Dr. Antanesian and I will definitely recommend my friends and family to you for their dental care. I wish I had found him years ago so that I would not have lost my teeth. But now I have my teeth back and can chew normally thank you again Dr. Ananesian

I am a hard working father and husband and I am supporting four kids and my wife. My entire family and I had a dental appointment in Dr. Vahe Antanesian’s office today . We have been going to his office since June of 2005. We have Safe Guard HMO insurance. Our first impression of his office was very good. His staff greeted us well and walked us trough the appointment like a nice afternoon breeze. Today I had a conversation with him in regards to this negative reviews of his office. I could not believe what was happening to this honest and descent person. He not only is a very professional person but also a very compassionate guy who really cares about what he does. I can’t believe the defamatory statements written on his behalf on the net. My personal opinion is that whoever is writing this statements is out there to tarnish Dr. Antanesian’s name in our community for no good reason. I tell you about my experience in his office. Nothing like some of these reviews say. I as an active member of my community that to take action and write this review. During my first dental appointment, Dr. Antanesian notify me that I had a crown that was chipped. I told him I already knew about it. He informed me if I would desire to replace it I could, but there was no cavities on the crown. Further he explained that core part of the crown which is metal is still intact and only the porcelain part was chipped. I showed interest in what would involve in replacing the crown since it was bugging me. He explained thoroughly what my insurance covers and what optional material I could get for extra charge. Not only he explained everything relating to different material in a very in depth manner but also he and his staff didn’t make it sound like I was going to loose my tooth if I didn’t do the crown right away. I told him the money was a bit tight and I would get back to them on this treatment. My next appointment which was 6 months later in late November of 2005 I decided to do the porcelain fused to yellow gold crown since it looks better and lasts much longer. The difference was only 400 dollars and I chose a better crown after Dr. Antanesian showed me pictures and actual crowns and pointed out the differences of two crowns. He also informed me another type of metal free crown called Zerconia that was way out of my budget. I am glad we found Dr. Antanesian’s office. He gives his patients so many options and choices in itself tells me he cares for his community members and isn’t out there to just take your money and run unlike the big corporations do these days. Mind you I have an HMO plan that doesn’t pay much to dental office for our regular appointments. We always get our desired appointment hours with Dr. Antanesian and His office staff and He never make us feel that we have a bad insurance since it is an HMO. I never had to wait more than a minute before I found myself being directed to the dental chair for the appointment unlike one of the comments I saw elsewhere. I noticed in one of the comments someone wrote otherwise and this is so untrue. I am glad we found Dr. Antanesian and his crew and we have referred many of our relatives and friends to his office. I am going to ask anyone who has been to his office to write a review of his office and fight back this untrue and unfair comments and statements. If I were Dr. Antanesian I would take Legal action and catch the person responsible. My family and I are looking forward to our next appointment in June of 2009

Dr. Antanosian is one of the best dentists I have ever seen and I have seen God only knows how many as I inherited very bad teeth. There have been may concerns and issues in relation to my dental work. This Dr. is way above standard in relation to his knowledge and his work. He has made accommodations for me numerous times in relation to my overly demanding work schedule; a by product of being self employed. I can’t say anything one way or the next relating to any other dentist at this center as Dr. Antanosian is the only one that I’ve ever had to go to but he is certainly highly recommended and way above the grade in relation to his profession.

Just moved back from Florida and needed some dental work done on the grids and received the same supberb service I got  7 years ago.  The staff and the Dr.’s, were very professional and  friendly. The staff  explained my dental procedures and flexible cost plan with ease. The Dr’s went over my x-rays and explain what dental work was needed first and what I can do to keep my teeth healthy in betweeen visits. Some Dental offices do just the opposite – then hit you in the pocket. I highly recommend this office for any dental work, especially during this stressed economy we’re living in.

I live in the Ventura County and drive a little over 2 hours (sometimes 3 hrs depending on traffic) ….SO worth the drive…..Lakewood Cerritos Dental is SO professional, so clean, such a friendly environment. The staff is INCREDIBLE… very kind and caring – not only to my needs but also my families needs . Ive gone to other dental offices and it’s dirty, they leave used instruments out, completely not sanitized, unprofessional, staff yelling their personal business across the office…….not this office. This office is organized, kept clean, and definitely NO dirty instruments visible 😀 Appts available right away, calls backs at a timely manner. I wouldn’t have my family or friends go anywhere else! Thank you Lakewod Cerritos Dental staff for all you have done for my family and myself.

My review is mainly for Dr. Antanesian. He is the nicest and most patient dentist, I have ever seen. I have had a series of problems with my teeth and have seen several dentist in the past and I think Dr. Antanesian is really good at the Art of Dentistry. He has a great professional bed side manner. He has done root canals on a few of my teeth, fillings and now recently I had to have an implant, which he did an excellent job on. He has always explained to me WHY a certain procedure has to be done and has been honest about it. I havent had any problems with any of my dental work. His office staff and front desk have always been very patient with me and all my requests. My 2 kids have also seen the Orthodontist and the Pediatric Dentist at this location, which they have also been great. The Orthodontist and the kids dentists are downstairs and they get really busy so you do have to schedule ahead of time. What I love about going to this facility the most is the fact that they have all the specialties all in the same building. I don’t have to drive all over town and get medical records from one dentist to the specialist. One thing I was really surprised about was that they also have a CT scan machine. The Orthodontist ordered a CT scan for my son, and they had it right there for me to schedule him. The office has always been very clean and all the equipment are up to date and looked new to me. I have also witnessed the office staff and the doctors change their gloves every time with each patient room. I will continue to go to this facility and also take my family here.

I just read the posts below and I have to say that my visit was very different.  The wait for me was better than what I would normally get at my other dentist.  The dentist was very patient with me.  I had a root canal and crown done and the staff was very good about walking me through the procedure step by step. I am not very good once I get in the dental chair. I went to this dental office a long time ago and made the mistake of trying someone different.  I can honestly say that I am glad that I came back.

During this quarantine, I had a dental emergency because my tooth was throbbing and it seems infected. I was able to book an appointment the very next day and had a dental implant procedure done. Dr. A was gentle on my tooth and even took the time to give me a call in the evening to check in on me. Wonderful service and they exceed expectations to insure that you have a great experience before during and after. I highly recommend them!!!

Dr. Antanesian is an outstanding dentist with excellent credentials, amazing communication skills, immaculate work and most important of all; a man of high integrity and ethics.  I have been his patient since 2010 and he has never failed my expectations.  In fact, he surpassed all of them.   His staff is very genuine and warm and they always made me feel at home.  I give Dr. Antanesian my highest and unequivocal recommendation!

I was looking for a fair dental office since I needed a few implants. I heard about Dr. Antanesian trough a friend. I traveled all the way from Burbank to his office to have a consultation for implants. He is the best. He explained eveything all the risks and benefits of implants. I was amazed how much he cares for what he does. I was very impressed with his clean office and professoinal staff. I chose to do 4 implants. so far I have gotten two placed and the surgery was so simple and I had very litttle discomfort after the procedure. I had heard horror stories about implant placement and my experice in dr. Antanesian’s office was nothing I had heard. they are very curtious. He even called me that night after I had my implants placed to see how I was doing. i had never had a dentist call me after a dental appointment. Looking forward to have two more implants placed and get my crowns Thank you Dr. Antanesian

Look going to the dentist is not always fun, let’s be honest, but Dr. Antanesian and his wonderful staff make the experience as pleasant as possible. Dr. A and his staff are very professional and sensitive to their patients. This is the first dental office I have been to whose primary objective is to care for your oral health as opposed to having an agenda of selling other services like some other chain dental offices do. Dr. A and his staff do an excellent job and have both integrity and very good repoire with patients. Another plus is that that they don’t keep you waiting endlessly in their office or in the dental chair as I had to endure at other offices. Dr. A. does a wondeful job and I certainly like my smile so much better. I would definately recommend this office to others. Thank you to Dr. Antanesian and staff.

I live in Maryland and had been getting my dental work done in-state for many years. I found out about Dr.Antanesian from a friend in Simi Valley after I had a tooth problem on a business trip  to California. Dr. Antanesian and his practice are extremely professional. His dental work is top notch. I continue to visit Dr. Antanesians office for dental care when i visit California every six months. I highly recommend  Dr. Antanesian for the people of Simi Valley.

I recently went to the dental center of Simmy Valley and had an exam done.  I would say it was one of the best experiences I have had in a dental office. First of all, my appointment time was respected and I was sited immediately. The office staff were very nice and the Dr. was very clear on his proposed treatment. He gave me options and for the first time I thought I was the one deciding. The prices were fair compare to other Drs I had tried in the area. I would definitely recommend this office if you are looking for a private dental office in the area.

I usually don’t write reviews, but after reading these absolute untrue and unfair reviews regarding Dr. Antanesian and his crew at Dental Center of Simi Valley, I felt obligated to post my experience at this dental office.  Dr. Antanesian has been taking care of my teeth for several years now, he’s always been professional, courteous, and honest with me and anyone I’ve ever refer to him.  More importantly, Dr. Antanesian is an excellent dentist, he takes pride in procedures he performs and makes sure that he provides the best care for every patient.  I’ve never had a negative experience at this dental office and neither has anyone I’ve refer to them.

Two years ago I had a bad accident where I lost most of my front teeth in a bicycle accident. I went to Dr antanesian for numerious visit. Everytime I was there I hardly waited less than a minute for my appointment. I don’t know what these people are talking about. I had very pleasent experince in his offioce. Even after two years I still get compliments on my teeth. they feel very comfortable and natural. I have referred many of my family members and co workers and they all have great things to say about his dental office. I would highly recommand him. He is very knowlegable in all accpects of dentistry. He performed many procedures on me to restore my mouth with a very little discomfort almost non existing.

Great Family dentistry, I was referred to this office by a friend and was told it’s worth my drive and it was.  Dr Antanesian and his staff were very nice and friendly. They work extensively with my insurance company to make sure I am covered and pre approved for all procedures and I was not sold anything extra only that what I needed. I actually look forward to my next visit

This office is now under new ownership and everyone that I have seen in this facility have been very honest and friendly. My review is mainly for Dr. Antanesian. Wish I had Dr. A as my dentist years ago! This office is amazing, efficient, friendly & timely. I highly recommend Lakewood Cerritos Dental as your #1 dentist for you & the family!
