This was top notch service from start to finish! I easily made an appointment online and got to choose my time. Angie at the front desk is friendly and Stephanie the dental assistant was also a joy to meet. Dr. Shaun Sigurdson is so personable and he actually did the cleaning of my teeth and showed me the X-Rays and took the time to explain what he looks for when examining a patient’s teeth. Their equipment was state of the art and this entire experience was as enjoyable as a visit to the dentist could be. I highly recommend this great team of professionals!

I have been going to Dr. Sigurdson with Lakewood Dental Group for the past couple years. He has always done an excellent job with being a straightforward honest and professional Dentist. I haven’t had to have any work done beyond my two yearly cleans until recently. During my last semi-annual cleaning at his newly built 6-month-old AMAZING office. He told me two cavities I had filled about 6 year ago, from a prior dentist were leaking and the x-rays were showing a cavities growing underneath. He pulled out a camera tiny camera tool and had a tv mounted on the ceiling, and literally showed me tooth leaking in REAL TIME. SOOOO COOOOL!! His newly built office has some of the latest dental technology I have seen in a dentist office. After my cleaning I scheduled an appointment to get the fillings redone. A couple weeks later I arrived to get the cavity redone. Once I got into the chair and they numbed me up, they handed me a remote and they had Netflix on the ceiling mounted TV! That was really cool as the procedure was going to take from 1.5 – 2 hours to get complete. Watching Netflix really allowed for the time to pass while they were doing the procedure. Beyond that the procedure went great and I will continue to see Dr. Sigurdson and the amazing staff at Lakewood Dental Group.

Dr. Sigurdson is kind, careful and thorough in his professional practice. He and Dr. Patel are the Dynamic Duo you were looking for and for all your dental needs. Did I mention their Dental Plan? You need to look into it and I’m sure you’ll be happy to hear what Lakewood Dental Group has to offer! The new clinic is beautiful, elegant and comfortable for a visit with the whole family.

I had the pleasure meeting both Dr. Sigurdson and Dr. Patel. These guys are genuine, professional and very caring. They gave me all the options I had and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each option. I felt very comfortable during the exam and treatment and I could not wait to go back and finish the rest of it. During the treatment, Dr. Sigurdson really took his time and made sure everything was perfect. That is something rare to find nowadays. I’d recommend this office to anyone in Dallas looking for good caring dentists!

I’ve gone to other dentists before but Lakewood density group , that’s the medal home. Dr. Sigurdson was amazing! He talked and walked me with every step and made me feel comfortable. Angie, was also amazing and friendly. Can’t wait for the next appointment now

I’ve recently moved to the opposite side of DFW and was tasked with finding new places in the area for my healthcare. Since I take major pride in the health of my teeth and I’ve went to the same dentist since I was in middle school, having to find a new dental office was a big decision for me. I can say that I’m extremely pleased that I chose Lakewood Dental Group after a suggestion from a friend. From the very beginning, the customer service the staff had was phenomenal. Angie, the Front Desk and Assistant, helped walk me through making an appointment and dealing with my insurance -an area that I have little experience with. I work a hectic and demanding job but they were able to work with my busy schedule. Angie’s professionalism and compassion made me feel at ease and that feeling carried over when I went in for my appointment. The atomosphere of Lakewood Dental Group’s office was warm and inviting. After filling out my new patient paperwork, taking pictures, and x-rays with Angie, I was greeted by one of the dentists, Dr. Patel. He recapped with me the first part of my appointment to ensure I understood everything and that I was provided the best quality care. After that, Dr. Patel explained the processes and procedures he would perform during my cleaning. Having Dr. Patel engage with me through the process of my cleaning, helped me feel informed and educated about my dental health. He took the time to enlighten me about better brushing and flossing techniques that would benefit my teeth and gums. Even though I go to the dentist twice a year, this visit really stood out to me. The genuine compassion Angie and Dr. Patel exhibited made my very standard dentist appointment feel extremely personal. As I was leaving, I met Dr. Sigurdson and he displayed the same warm and friendly vibe the others had. Dr. Sigurdson’s passion for dentistry and his patients really showcased itself during our brief interaction. I would highly recommend Lakewood Dental Group to my friends, my family, and to anyone who is looking for a dental office that really cares about their patients.

I completed my undergraduate degree work Dr.Sigurdson and talk Dental Care with Dr.Patel regularly.
