The patient care area has been remodeled. New chairs and new equipment. To help me relax, the chair has a massage feature. No such thing as pain free, but she gets pretty close. after the first shot the procedure is as comfortable as can be. The doctor answers all my questions and the staff is very friendly and poliet.

I recently went to a new dental facility to get established. Had a cleaning and battery of x-rays. I was told I had a bad crown that would need to be replaced.  My cost would have been $900.00. I decided to get a second opinion and made an appointment with Lakewood Smiles. Dr. Jennifer Lee examined the crown and found a root canal had been done through it.  The filling had gone bad. So far this is one of the best dentist offices I’ve ever been too. My gf has been coming here ever since she was in jr high or high school, and after my last experience with my dentist I decided to take her advice and come here. The first appointment was a little over a week ago and they got me right in for x-rays to see the wisdom tooth and one of my other teeth that have been hurting like crazy. I knew I still needed my last wisdom tooth extracted, but I wanted a 3rd opinion on my other tooth because my former dentist said I needed a root canal, but the dental school said I didn’t need one, and this office confirmed I did in fact need one. They scheduled me for a week later ( today ) to start getting out done immediately. Went in today with high anxiety as usual. Not because I’m scared of the dentist, but because I have GAD ( general anxiety disorder ). The Dr. was very patient with me and the staff was so nice. They numbed me up and went to work drilling out and cleaning my root canals. I thought it was going to be excruciating pain, but it wasn’t bad at all. A little bit of pain here and there ( I’m very sensitive to pain and have very sensitive nerves ), but nothing to complain or cry about. The worst part was my own anxiety from the numbing ect because I hate taking any medications or anesthetics and try to avoid pills, or any medications at all cost unless absolutely necessary. Needless to say they did a great job, and the paid from within my tooth is gone ( as of right now ). I’ll be monitoring it closely since the last procedures I had at my other dentist were so bad I was in pain for 2 months straight with 2 dry sockets and infections from my wisdom tooth that also damaged my other tooth from the wisdom tooth growing in sideways. They refused to give me any medication at all and told me to just take ibuprofen. I took over 260 ibuprofen in a couple weeks and was taking over 8-12 a day. As a result I developed bad ulcers, and other stomach/ intestinal problems. But this place did this right and I’m in no pain besides my jaw and gum from being pried open and pushed around for 2-2.5 hours. Other then that I’m fine so far. Overall I’m rating them 5/5 stars for the amazingly friendly staff, the care they have me, the understanding of my high anxiety, professionalism, and skills. I highly recommend this place.

Me and my wife just moved to Colorado from North Dakota. We had the same dentist for over 10 years. Finding an amazing dentist was on of the hardest parts about moving. 4-5 dentist later one of our coworkers told us about Dr. Lee and her amazing staff. I did not know the reason why it was taking Dr. Lee so long to perform my cleaning. After an little bit more than an hour she was able to do my cleaning. She explained why it took so long and I appreciate that but I think I should have been told in the beginning that they were behind. because an hygienist had to leave for personal matters. I felt as though she had to rush through my cleaning and did just the basics. My teeth weren’t even polished. I understand that is the hygienist’s job and she had two other patients waiting.

I am new to the area and needed to find a new dentist. Having moved from Aurora the drive would be too far to continue seeing my other dentist. I scheduled an appointment for my exam and a cleaning. I was able to get in on the day I had in mind which was faster than I was used to at my old dentist. The lady at the front desk was awesome and able to check my insurance for me before I saw the doctor. The office is very nice and the chair is so awesome because it gives you a massage. The ceiling is decorated which took my mind off things. Dr. Lee was amazing. She actually checked outside my mouth which I had never had done before. During the exam she kept telling the assistant things and I have never had such a thorough exam in my life. The X-rays they took showed that I have a small cavity and I was able to get that done at the same time. I also need to floss more so If I don’t start I might need a deep cleaning in some spots. Dr. Lee had her assistant review my flossing and gave me some recommendations which I will be able to try first before having to do the other kind of cleaning. So far I am very happy I found Dr. Lee. The staff is wonderful and she is such a nice dentist.

Dr. Lee gave me a thorough examination and clear explanation of my treatment options. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I’m very pleased as it can be difficult to find a good dentist in a new city. I made an appointment for my next cleaning before leaving. I highly recommend this practice based on this first appointment and am going to refer my friends and family here. I like the low-key but efficient vibe. It’s not a patient mill like some places. They even brought me a cup of water and offered a magazine while I was in the examination chair. I’ve never experienced that anywhere before!

I needed a root canal or have the tooth pulled. I decided on the root canal so my teeth would have better support. The tooth was infected so Dr.Lee prescribed meds. to clean up the area before she began working on the tooth. After a week the infection was cleared up and she started the procedure. I don’t like shots for the pain, but it wasn’,t too bad. I did not feel any discomfort while she was drilling away at the tooth. I was fitted with a temporary crown which stayed in place for the two weeks. No pain shots were needed for removing the temp. crown and putting the permanent one on. I don’t like going to the Dentist, but when I do, I want it done correctly. Dr. Lee and her staff know their business.

I came to Lakewood Smiles for a second opinion after breaking one tooth. I went to another dentist and was told I needed two crowns and a deep cleaning and something to wear because I was grinding my teeth. This was going to cost me thousands. I found Dr Lee and was able to get an appointment right away. Dr. Lee and her staff are nothing short of amazing. The office is very inviting and cozy. The receptionist immediately offered me coffee as I waited for my appointment and was seated very quick considering they were busy. The nurse was very thoughtful and considerate. I have terrible anxiety about going to the dentist and they were able to walk me through the whole process. After the nurse took the X-ray I immediately saw the doctor. Dr. Lee is very detailed. She went over all my options with me and actually spent the time to answer all my questions. I was given many options and decided to try the filling first to see if it would fix the problem. They gave me laughing gas to calm my nerves and I never felt a thing. The nurse said I actually fell asleep. My tooth is fixed and I didn’t need an expensive crown after all. I also got my teeth cleaned and she suggested I try a homemade bite plate to make sure I can sleep with it before I make the investment. Finally a dentist I can trust to work on my crazy mouth. I’m not the easiest patient because I have high anxiety but Dr. Lee and her staff made me feel relaxed.

I really liked Dr. Lee! She has a great chairside manner and as I am terrified (and I mean terrified) of the dentist she was very patient and caring and explained what she was doing step-by-step. My one suggestion for improvement would be to discuss (at length if needed) the cosmetic options available when working on teeth that are shown when you smile. For someone with anxiety, like I have, it’s always nice to know what your potential choices for improvement are and to feel like you have a choice in your treatment direction.
