Dr. Langley is the BEST DENTIST I have EVER been to in my 60+ years. From the time I was a little girl going to the dentist through my recent years I’ve had more than my share of traumatic dental experiences. Although I had finally found a good dentist that I trusted when I lived in Ohio, I floundered when moving to South Carolina 11 years ago. I tried several dentists before a friend recently referred Dr. Langley. What a breath of fresh air! I’ve been in several times for dental work and I trust her to be honest and never recommend unneeded expensive treatments (as I’ve experienced with other dentists). Her staff is kind and friendly and Dr. Langley is such a PRO I felt minimal sensation when she administered the numbing shot. Wow – she’s a KEEPER!! Love it! And she’s so friendly and sweet! Dr. Langley’s is great, she and her staff are all amazing! Not only do I get a cleaning or dental work completed, I get an explanation of what is going on with my teeth and gums. They’ll let me know how things are looking, and anything I should be aware of as possible needs in the near future. I’m not one who enjoys the process of dental work (even cleanings), and they’re always certain to make sure I’m comfortable while getting the process done correctly and efficiently.

I have been seeing Dr. Langley for years. She is very professional and her staff is very nice and easy to work with. I also take my children there. They are great with my kids and i have no issues scheduling us all for a cleaning at the same time. I reallt like Dr. Langley. She is very nice and thorough. I feel my teeth have been very healthy thanks to Dr. Langley. Also, the staff is really nice and great to work with. You may find a doctor you like but it is rare to find a doctor you like AND like the staff that works for the doctor. From my past experiences, You either like your doctor and not the rest of the staff or vice versa. Dr. Langley’s office is very clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend Dr. Langley and her team to any of my friends and family!

Dr. Langley has been our family dentist for over 3 years and we have been nothing but satisfied with her office staff, her products and services and her overall attitude and demeanor towards what she does and her patients. The staff immediately greets you by name and is very quick to take you back which is very important when working in the appointment during your work day. All of the staff are very friendly, very gentle with their procedures and very thorough with explaining what they will be doing and future treatment plans, etc. I have a unique tooth situation with a molar which has caused some isolated gum disease and with her suggested treatment plan (which no one previously had ever even discussed with me), I have seen significant improvement in this area. Dr. Langley is very up to date with current trends and products/services and you will find her and her office to be very welcoming and a comfortable place (especially if you have any anxiety towards going to the dentist).

I should’ve written this a while ago but omg this place is the best. The ENTIRE staff made me feel like family. They’re the kindest and most helpful people. Melissa was the one who cleaned my teeth and I felt like I had known her for years by the time I left. I’m so thankful that I found this place. Langley Dental is a great dental practice. From the front office staff to the technicians and Dr. Langley herself – everything is run with precision and everyone is focused on you. Dr. Langley had to replace a filling. I’m not super excited about needles and have had problems getting fully numb in the past. Dr. Langley got me numb on the first try and didn’t have any problems throughout the process. I’m very glad this practice was recommended to me!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Langley’s for over 8 years. The staff are friendly, competent, prompt/on-time, and I can usually get appointments that fit my schedule without too much trouble (though I do wish they had at least some hours on Fridays). Also, Dr Langley and Nancy (the hygienist I see there) give great explanations so I always know what is going on with my teeth and gums and how to best keep them healthy.

I have tremendous fear of the dentist to such a degree that I would put off necessary care. Dr. Langley and team, especially Nancy and Caitlin, have made every effort to resolve my fear and enable me to comfortably get the care I need. Consistently they spend extra time listening to my concerns, answering questions, and making me as comfortable as possible, and though I don’t look forward to a visit, I know I am in incredibly safe and compassionate hands when I get there. Plus, my dental and periodontal health is exponentially improved as they have helped me become a better partner in and owner of my dental health. Great dentist!! I had a severe tooth ache and the dentist I used to go to couldn’t see me for days, Dr. Langley got me right in and determined that I needed a root canal and a crown. She made a phone call to a specialist for my root canal and I was able to be seen that day. They are very through and professional in everything they do!! I highly recommend this office!!

Dr Langley and her team helped me get over a terrible experience that I had several years ago. They were just thrilled that I was there ready to take care of my mouth! The team is professional and yet like a family or a group of friends that you cherish. Perhaps that doesn’t make sense for a medical professional’s office but that’s how they make you feel…like you just want to be friends with everyone that’s in there and you enjoy going to see them! On top of that their work is impeccable, always comfortable, and they really watch your body language to be sure you’re ok. Dr Langley and the entire team are awesome. Going to the dentist has always been a nerve racking experience for me. Dr Langley listens, is friendly, patient, caring, and extremely gentle. I recently had to get another crown (one of many over the years) on a very sensitive tooth. She noticed immediately that I was very nervous, (white knuckling the arm rests and twitchy feet) she began distracting me with casual conversation and had me relaxed with the procedure over quickly and painlessly. She is the most gentle dentist (especially with shots) and hand down the best dentist I have ever had!

I’ve had fillings and cleanings here. The staff is SO friendly and nice, and anybody who’s had a mediocre hygienist knows what a dream it can be to have an AWESOME one! They’re super thorough with getting all the crap out of my teeth and flossing gently (not going through the middle of my gums!). The coolest part is that they’re pretty conscious of trying to get modern, patient-friendly machines and tools, which make enduring the procedures more comfortable (i.e. the sonic plaque destroyer instead of just the scratchy-pick–I LOVE THAT thing!) Langley is a professed perfectionist and encourages treatments and options to help patients achieve their best smile, but isn’t pushy about them (i.e., suggesting veneers for inconsistent front teeth, or a post-braces whitening!) She’s also perfectly happy to answer my questions about options, results, alternatives, etc. I trust her as my dentist, and have been very happy with my results, and the friends & family I’ve pointed her way have said the same. She’s a great option for folks who live or work in the South Tryon area. 🙂 Regarding the concerns from the other review… I’ve had a ~$1 charge come through after insurance, when I thought I’d paid off my deductible. Sometimes this happens, if the estimate of what insurance will pay is different than the reality. I was annoyed at first, but when I called the office, they cleared it away and took care of it, no muss no fuss!

When my dental assistant of 25 years retired and her dentist sold his practice, in anticipation of retirement, I knew the task to find a new honest and excellent would be arduous task to find a dentist Doctor of Dental Medicine with people skills who also had the business skills to run their own businesses. I avoided the drive by drill shops which employ the dentist as a temp to perm dental employees. I went to several that charged outrageous amounts above my dental insurance reimbursement. Then I found Dr Kari Langley. She has a great smile, Caring, honest, and Sincere approach to her clients. Danielle is her business manager who holds the insurance companies accountable. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the area. I will miss my 80 year old dentist jokes and wisdom but love my Langley Dental Team!
