My review may be lengthy but I feel it creates a better review for Triad Periodontics. A little history about myself and others may have had the same upbringing. As a child, I was never given much focus on dental health. No “Brush your teeth before you go to bed” or when you got out of bed. The only time that I was taken to the dentist was when I had a problem (Cavity, Tooth Ache, Etc.) So, going to the dentist was always associated with pain. I had been going to other dentists over the years much was always because of an issue. So yes dentist = pain. Always nervous and not wanting to go. The last 5 years I had been going to a different dentist for schedule visits. After not feeling like I was being cleaned effectively, I made a change to Triad Periodontics. From one day the staff and office in Lexington felt welcoming and inviting. This is very important to someone that has not had very good luck with dentist experiences. After being seen for my first visit with Dr Karen Lanier it was determined that I need a deep cleaning because of gum disease, that would take two visits one for the left side and one for the right. Well that was the last thing I wanted to hear. Remember Dentist = Pain! So, the 1st visit had come for the deep cleaning. As I walked into the High Point office, I felt much the same as I did in the Lexington office. Staff at the counter very friendly. I sat for just a couple minutes with my mind racing with anxiety, I was called back not looking forward to having the deep cleaning done. This is where Rock Star started to talk with me her name is Grace. I think Grace could tell I was very nervous and began to talk in a calming way with me, giving me a step by step plan for the deep cleaning as well as after treatment care. She prepped my mouth with a topical numbing gel. I was still nervous when Dr. Lanier came in and numbed my mouth and gum line as I was being given the numbing shots felt a hand on the top my shoulder rubbing it. It was Grace it made me more at easy and that she must really care about her clients. I do not want you to think it was 100% pain free but the it was much less than what I thought it was going to be. I feel that a lot of that was from how I was treated prior to. Grace was finished and I checked out where the ladies were very nice, NOT there just to get the money but showed interest. Visit 2 part two went well and Grace was there as before to lend a sympathetic touch of the shoulder as I was being numbed. After the deep cleaning came a polish and I was out the door again. I really believe that I have found a home for my teeth and gums to be taken care of. Thank you, Dr. Lanier and Grace! So now the Dentist = Trust. I guess this is a testimony more than a review, but if I can share my story and you can relate to it. Then go trust Dr. Lanier, Grace and the team at Triad Periodontics and see for yourself it is not to late to find a great place for your teeth and gums. Richard Nance

From the moment I arrived, until I checked out, I felt “safe and protected”, as Dr. Lanier and her staff were ensuring that all precautions were being taken, with regards to the pandemic. Dr. Lanier and her staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The office was conveniently located, and it was festively decorated for the holidays! (Music was being played in the exam room) Going to the dentist (oral surgeon) is never fun, but my visit to Dr. Lanier’s office was a pleasant one. Dr. Lanier had performed a procedure on me back in the 1990’s. My experience, back then, was such a positive one, that, when I needed to have another procedure, I chose to go back.

The dentist’s office is my least favorite place to be. Dr. Karen Lanier and her staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Lanier is professional and personable. Every part of my procedure was explained. Dr. Lanier personally called to check on me which was a pleasant surprise. I am completely satisfied with my decision to have my implant procedure done by Dr. Lanier and recommend this practice for anyone looking for a competent friendly experience. I was very impressed with Dr. Lanier’s office from the receptionist to the dental assistant. They were very professional and thorough. Dr. Lanier was very nice and put me at ease during the exam. She was extremely knowledgeable and was very honest about what type of care I needed. I would highly reccomend Dr. Lanier.

Been going here for numerous years. Dr Lanier is very thorough and takes her time to explain the procedure. She is very careful to make sure you are pain free. Very professional and courtesy staff. Very clean facility and comfortable environment. Highly recommend..

The staff always make me feel at ease explaining the process. I have been a patient for several years and am very pleased with the practice and the service that I have received.

Dr. Lanier and her staff are very professional and nice. They make a great team. On the day of my gum surgery they had a student. I myself used to teach in medicine so I was very impressed how Dr. Lanier and the tech helped her. I told the student to “ ask questions”!! Great after care and call back from Dr. Lanier was a plus. Great experience with an excellent group!!

Dr. Lanier and her staff are wonderful! Dr. Lanier’s staff are always professional, helpful and courteous. Dr. Lanier explains all procedures/treatments and keeps check on you along the way. She has been my periodontist for years and has always provided excellent service. I highly recommend her and her staff.

I have been a patient with Dr. Lanier for quite a few years. Dr. Lanier and her staff have always provided wonderful service to me. I feel comfortable when I go to their office. I have always been told upfront as to what the diagnosis is and the cost. Very professional staff that show they care about me as a patient.

This is my mom’s dentist and she wanted me to post this review for them since she is not good with the computer. The entire staff from the front office to all the hygenists are fantastic. Parker is especially nice. She was very helpful getting my mom in and out of the practice. They have strict Covid policies which she greatly appreciates. She loves the cleanliness of the entire operation.

Dr. Lanier and her staff are amazing! I went to have gum grafting done and was very nervous however Dr. Lanier and her staff made me feel at ease and were very professional and did a wonderful job on my procedure! I would highly recommend her for your dental needs! Went to other oral surgeons in the area and was made to feel very uncomfortable however Dr. Lanier and her staff made me feel comfortable and addressed all my needs !

I would highly recommend Dr Laniers practice. They are very up beat and positive. I’ve had great experiences there. I was very self conscious and embarrassed about my gum issues. I wasn’t happy with myself for not getting it taken care of before and I love their approach that your here now and let’s get it fixed. Thank you Dr. Lanier and your staff!

LAST VISIT: Another wonderful teeth cleaning! Dr. Lanier’s office continues to take full precautions in these difficult COVID-19 times. I continue to have Grace clean my teeth! And my teeth continue to get superior attention! Grace and I both have a love for what we call “fur babies,” and have a great conversation while Grace diligently cleans EVERY little nook and cranny of my teeth! Love it! The 4 hour trip each way from home to High Point is definitely worth the care Dr. Lanier and Grace give me! THIS VISIT: I just cannot say enough about this office and its staff in their professional attitude, skills, and interest in helping me keep a healthy mouth! I am blessed to have found Dr. Lanier and her staff to care for me!

My entire family has been going to Dr. Lanier for years. And although my recent visit was my own first with her, she and her staff were very thorough in explaining all available options concerning my treatment and payment options. My initial exam and subsequent explanation left me knowing that I was in very knowledgeable and capable hands. Update: Had two teeth extracted today. Dr. Lanier was awesome! She took extra care to make sure that I was completely numb throughout the whole procedure. It’s wonderful to have a Dr. with such a pleasant personality as well! I highly reccomend her!

I have been going here for the last 5 years as I have periodontal disease. Dr Lanier and her staff have worked hard to keep my teeth and gums healthy. They are always friendly and professional and do great work. I would recommend her to anyone who has gum issues. They are a group of professionals that care about their patients.

As always doctor Doctor Karen Lanier did a top notch job Her and the people that work for her go above and beyond making a patient feel accepted warm and welcome. They are always happy they seem like they enjoyed doing their job. I had my wisdom teeth pulled and as soon as there was a problem I was directed to someone that could help with the problem. It is good to know that there’s something that is is needed or 2nd opinion she is willing to do what it takes to make the patient feel comfortable and happy This is the doctor that you need to see if you have tooth problems or need help on maintaining good dental care.
