I just had an awful toothache.  I have never had so much pain.  I was leaving for Hawaii in two days.  I called Dr. Eric Larson and they were so accommodating.  They fit me in their busy schedule and helped me.  I needed a root canal.   I was out of pain and able to make it on my trip.  When I got home I was able to followup and get a permanent crown.   I just want to thank Dr. Eric Larson and his staff for helping me and taking the time out so I would enjoy my trip to Hawaii.

I told him that is seems being a dentist requires artistic skills as well. I recently moved back to SLC after being gone for two years and it wasn’t even a question of who would be my dentist. You don’t sit and wait for long periods of time for your appointment – they are so efficient! Today was my first day having the pleasure of meeting Kristina who cleaned my teeth and she was beyond AWESOME. Not only did she do a fantastic job on my teeth but she made me feel so comfortable and we had great conversation – her ability to interpret your words when you’ve got dental tools in your mouth is pretty spectacular. I know dentists. My father was a dentist/orthodontist, (You could do both back then) and my sister is a dentist. Teeth were a large part of my life. It is always difficult finding a dentist that meets my expectations, as my dad was head of oral surgery at Mt Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, and he was surrounded by great dentists who seemed to all practice on my pearly whites. Since my dad passed, I have searched for a good dental practitioner. I found a great guy in Milwaukee, no one in Louisville, Kentucky, (kind of makes sense if you adhere to stereotypes) and the last guy I went to in SLC, did unnecessary work and planned to do more for thousands of dollars. I avoided him like a bad rash. Brent Larson knows his stuff. He came highly recommended by people in the know at the University. I recognized his expertise immediately, as his diagnosis of my mouth was correct. I purposely withheld information to see if he would pick it up. He did. I am sneaky that way. In addition, Dr. Larson’s hearty laugh and easy going manner, would make anyone feel at ease. Brent Larson is a great choice for a dentist. Go see him and take care of your teeth. Hopefully, they will remain with you forever.

My husband and I have been coming here since I moved to SLC a few years ago. Everyone is kind and courteous. The dental hygienist doesn’t even try to talk to me when they have their hands in my mouth, which is the most ideal situation for me. I struggle with absolutely terrible dry mouth due to (relatively) new medical condition and Dr. Larson not only called in a prescription to a compound pharmacy for a special dry mouth lollipop, but also did some preventative work so that dry mouth wouldn’t do as much damage to my oral health. I had never had a filling before this and they made the process as tolerable as something like that can be.

I had a dental cleaning at Larson Dental and I am very satisfied. I waited a minute or two in the waiting room before the hygienist called me. I like that they just didn’t sit me in a dentist chair for 20 minutes like so many dentists do. I was taken care of right away. I have been going to Dr.Eric Larson since I was 10. He is simply the best at what he does. I had a implant done and a crown I have more work to do but so far I am still satisfied and I wouldn’t trust any other dentist with my teeth. Although I did have some issues with insurance, but they made sure it gets resolved and took care of it for me.
