I have been going to Laurelwood Dental for 7 years now and it’s still amazing. The front desk staff are friendly. Tiffany my dental hygienist is beyond wonderful. My fear of the dentist and cleanings has diminished thanks to Tiffany. She’s always a ray of sunshine. Both dentists are fantastic and a pleasure. I always look forward to going to Laurelwood Dental twice a year.

Literally the best ever. They are understanding, professional and efficient. Every time I am there I am reminded why I drive the 45 min from my house to keep them as my dentist. It feels like they are actually invested in my success. I went a long time without insurance and I was embarrassed when I first came to them. They made me feel comfortable and I didn’t feel judged at all. Of you are looking for a dentist I could not recommend them more. I promise you’ll be so glad you did.

I hate the dentist. When I shared this with the awesome employee who answered the phone, she cheerfully assured me that most people do but that Laurelwood really tries to change that. And they did! I had an appointment first thing in the morning. It was dark, cold and rainy outside and I was feeling the same way as I walked into the building. I opened the door to the clinic and it was bright, warm, cozy and oddly full of happy, smiling employees and patients – even at 7:15 in the morning. They checked me in right away, offered me coffee and asked me to fill out paperwork. I’d barely written down my name before they were already ready for me. My dental hygienist was Mike. He was great! Honest about what to expect, explained everything he was doing while he did it, and made a real effort not to hurt me. He was friendly, understanding and did a great job on my teeth. I also met with Dr. Edwards who was also great. He sat down and took the time to talk with me and get to know me. He was also super friendly and seemed happy to be there (as did literally every employee I encountered). They also gave me a jar full of dry ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies at home which they give out during the holidays. An excellent reward for visiting the dentist! I will absolutely go back and would absolutely recommend Laurelwood to a friend. I found out about Laurelwood through one of my friends – I definitely owe them a thank you. 🙂

As a person who is generally frightened to go to “the dentist” because of an experience very early on in life, I can only say “Best Dentist, and experience ever” to the multiple times I have had to have dental work done since going here. Great customer service from the moment you walk in their door to the moment you leave. Dr. Edwards has superb skills, current-up to date practices and very courteous, caring and calm bedside manners. Tiffany, the hygienist, and the others are fantastic. I can not recommend them any more than I do because I know how many people feel about seeing “the Dentist.”  Make your appointment today…seriously.

I never thought I’d be excited about a dentist appointment, but I was thrilled to get my cleaning now that Portland is opening back up! I’ve gone to Laurelwood for 5 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their office is punctual, professional, and their communications are always clear. They really seem to go above and beyond for their patients. All the staff I’ve interacted with are wonderful, especially my hygienist, Tiffany! She’s an absolute joy. I highly recommend his practice!

Dr. Hall and Dr. Edwards are skilled professionals who put you at ease with all dental procedures. From teeth cleaning, crowns and complicated dental work you will be in good hands. The hygienists are friendly, thorough and experienced. The front office staff is friendly and assists with insurance and billing in a prompt and courteous manner. I’ve been served well by Laurelwood for about ten years. I’ve had fillings, crowns, implants–all done with minimum discomfort and maximum speed and sensitivity. Today I went for my twice-a-year cleaning, and Mike found little cleaning needed because I had followed his instructions. I couldn’t be more pleased! I think it’s worth every cent, and I’m paying my own bill, not insurance. It feels good to have a dental care group I can rely on totally.

I came to Dr Isaac Edwards in August of 2018 with an emergency, Laurelwood got me in the next day Dr Edwards took the time to compassionately ease my fears and fill my broken tooth and provide a porcelain crown all in one appointment. I returned December 2019 for a similar procedure (broken tooth with porcelain crown) all done in one day. It’s convenient to have the equipment on-site to make these one day appointments. The staff is incredibly helpful and professional. I have never met a kinder, compassionate and personal health care provider. I feel very fortunate to be his patient.

After moving to Portland and a negative experience with another dentist, I booked a consultation appointment with Dr. Edwards, and I’m so glad I did. I’m so impressed with how he listened to my concerns and anxieties and how thorough he was, and how he always takes the time to explain everything to me. Lisa is a wonderful and kind hygienist and I’m so thankful to have found a professional, thorough and patient dental practice. Highly recommend.

The Laurelwood Dental staff is amazing! Tiffany, our regular hygienist is a gem! We bring our whole family in for a group appointment over two hours and the whole staff is helpful. Tiffany is especially adept at handling our young ones with extra energy while still getting teeth clean. Thanks Laurelwood Dental team! See you in six months. Our kids always want to brush the “sugar bugs” away after visiting.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years and I was very anxious.  Every person I interacted with, from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist, was extremely kind to me.  They took care of figuring out all my insurance information and let me know up front how much I should expect to pay.  They also explained every step of each procedure and let me take breaks when I felt uncomfortable. I have terribly sensitive teeth and gums and they really listened to me about this, were super reassuring during the whole visit, and seemed to take extra care to be gentle and stopped the moment anything hurt at all. They were extremely professional and patient, and also friendly without forcing me to make awkward small talk with stuff in my mouth. They also did not make me feel bad for not going to the dentist for a few years. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough — I am so glad to have found them.

Laurelwood Dental provides some pretty quick and hassle free experiences. They are focused on providing care and educating the public about the advantages of good oral hygiene. They are great at making reminders for future check ups and make cleanings and exams a breeze. It seems like they want to do these jobs so well that all other services disappear. I can only imagine this would put them out of business, yet they continue to help with routine and preventative care.

Laurelwood Dental is fantastic for so many reasons! If you have any anxiety about going to the dentist, this is the place for you. If you can believe it, I really enjoy going. -They have excellent customer service. Their desk staff is friendly, patient, and informative. I get text reminders for my appointments. Love it! -My hygienist is sweet, informative and through. I enjoy going to see her, she is gentle with my gums/teeth but gets every spot sparkling clean! -I have seen both dentists and really like each of them. I feel like I have never been “sold” something that I did not medically need. This has happened to me at OTHER dental offices, and I have paid for it in sensitive teeth. I truly trust these doctors opinions, feel informed by their recommendations, and am never left feeling ashamed that I didn’t floss (only highly encouraged). -Space- They have a lovely clean office and all their dental chairs face out the window into the trees. Pretty nice.

I have pretty strong fear of the dentist, and this group has been nothing but wonderful. Even during COVID, they’ve taken my comfort seriously and gone the extra mile to make sure I feel as safe and at ease as possible. I’ve had the same hygenist every time, and she’s wonderful, and they’ve worked hard to make sure I work with the same dentist every time (it hasn’t always been possible). When I need a crown, they make them on the premises, so no “it doesn’t fit, send it back, reschedule, come back” shenanigans I’ve had with other offices. I can’t speak highly enough about this office.

This place is wonderful! The office is warm and inviting and the staff is friendly and helpful. Tiffany is my hygienist; she is always warm and friendly and puts you at ease while cleaning your teeth. She is also very thorough in explaining treatments, procedures, general dental health, and anything else you may have questions about. I have seen both Dr. Hall and Dr. Edwards and they have been very kind and attentive to my health. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Be sure to schedule an appointment in December so you can get a free jar of cookie mix!

I normally don’t do reviews but with Laurelhurt’s Dental I feel very strongly to say something very positive about them. I have been a patient for many years and I have had the absolute best experience with them always. I had been treated really well over the years and I had extensive work done and every time my experience it’s been a great one. About 14 years ago I lost my job and I was unemployed for a while without insurance. Well, they told me not to worry about the money and when I get back on my feet, I could pay them. They are a great team of very knowledgeable and compassionate people. They had always go the extra mile with care and flexibility. I wish every business is like them. The world would be a better place. By the way, they did my implants completely customized. A real piece of art work!!

I have always had fantastic care at Laurelwood Dental.  The staff is very professional yet very friendly, the care is outstanding and even the dental hygienists are wonderful. Stephanie is the best one I have experienced so far! I hope she does not move away! While all the dentists come highly recommended I have only been seen by Dr. Edwards and he is superb and makes you feel very comfortable. No pain, even when giving shots!

I’ve been using Laurelwood Dental for close to 20 years.  That should tell you all you need to know.  The dentists are professional and caring. The same goes for the hygienists.  They send me reminders when it’s time for an appointment and are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling and payment over time (when something major needs to be done).  They always check to see if I have any questions/concerns and are always pleasant.  And if you do a very good job of brushing and flossing, you’ll get a nice pat on the back!

I returned to Laurelwood Dental after a couple of years away, and I decided to return because I am undergoing a dental implant removal, which is is not only daunting, but also unnerving. Even though it’s a 30 min drive each way, it’s worth every mile. Dr. Issac and the staff are incredibly caring, patient and helpful. It’s easy to be fearful of dentistry, yet I am relieved to be in such safe and trustworthy hands at Laurelwood Dental. I don’t write reviews often, but I felt I owed it to others searching for quality care.
