Fantastic staff and first class care! Having left a “corporate” and national dental chain, this office is a breath of fresh air. This is a legacy practice. Family owned and operated. Dr. Leavitt is second generation. The staff is tenured, local, engaged, and ACTUALLY cares about me as a person, patient, and community resident. Refreshing! Rarely, in my experience, have I had medical care this engaging. In addition, the staff interacts with each other AND has a sense of humor. Want proof? Check out the picture for “No Solicitation” on the front door! Keep the sign ladies! Visiting this office is like arriving home…fun, light-hearted, inviting, and warm. Thank you for everything! You have a long term customer in me!

I love it there, granted my daughter is one of the hygienist. It is warm and friendly there and all the people are great. Dr. Leavitt is very gentle, caring, spectacular dentist! He treats all his patients with respect.

Love, love, LOVE Leavitt Dental Group in Mayfield Heights. They’re friendly, the office is cozy and welcoming, and their service is second-to-none. They’ve got a coffee machine, water and granola bars in the waiting room, in addition to a great assortment of children’s books and toys. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than five minutes to get into the dentist’s chair. As soon as I get there, they always take me back quickly. Also, they allow the patient to participate in his or her own care and make important decisions. They’re very kid-friendly, which I appreciate. I’ve been taking my girls with me to appointments since they were babies, and the staff at Leavitt always accommodates. The business is family-owned, and Dr. Leavitt’s father owned it before him. They’ve got that small business feel and remember us each time we come in, which is great. I can’t say enough good things about them; they’re fabulous!

I was shocked to see a low rating for this dentist and felt the obligation to post my opinion. Dr. Leavitt quite simply saved my teeth. Due to lots of moves, I have been to many dentists over the years and actually kind of enjoy the appointments. Dr. Leavitt is without question the most skilled, straight forward and talented dentist I have ever been to. His staff is fantastic and very professional. I was on the verge of losing a tooth due to an occlusion and due to some other physical damage. It was literally hanging by a few remaining ligaments. He did not do what 99% of dentists would do; yank it and put in a fake tooth. He worked with me, stabilized it and saved it. It is not perfect, but it is still there. he also fixed a chip that no other dentist could. As the other review mentioned, he is a straight shooter and tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. No unnecessary work, just the right work. He is also fantastic with my kids, who have awesome teeth under his care. I very highly recommend this practice and would never even consider switching to another dentist. I have literally left the office glad that he is a young man and that the office should be around to see me through many years.

Over the years the wife and I have jumped around to various local dentists. This has been caused primarily by changes in medical coverage. Due to our recent change in coverage (which began at the turn of the year) we started searching for someone in-network and found Yelp reviews similar to this one that sang high praises of LDG. Our first visit was last week, where we both received cleanings. We found the facilities to be clean and VERY modern. The staff was courteous, the cleaning seemed thorough, and Dr Leavitt was very pleasant and charismatic. We both left pleased, though me a little less so as I found an old silver filling from decades ago needed removed as there was some inside decay. Today I returned to have that procedure done, and again was greeted by friendly staff and courteous smiles. And once again I was warmed over by the pleasant nature of Dr Leavitt who provided informative information in an easy to understand manner regarding my procedure. They have plenty of gizmos and gadgets to rave about, but the bottom line is that we haven’t seen any dental practice that offers this level of hospitality ever in the area. We’re super pleased to have found them, especially with them being so close to home. While nobody ever really looks forward to going to the dentist (do they? haha), at least we’ll be glad to know we’re going somewhere that feels warm, friendly and inviting. See you in 6 months for a cleaning!

I located this office actually off of Yelp and his office was the only one with the most reviews near me, glad that it was. I got in the same day, Office was super cozy and nice, staff was very helpful and sweet and Dr. Leavitt himself was a pleasure to meet. It made it easier for me since im not a fan of going to the dentist anyway but just the warm friendly atmosphere made it a lot more bareable. He was honest and up front about everything that needed to be fixed and told me we would work on them together…I loved it 🙂
