Dr. Amato has been “My Dentist” since 2007. When he started treating me I had a ton of issues that we had to work through, including root canals, caps, cavities and more. Before I started seeing Dr. Amato I had a lot of anxiety about visiting the dentist and kind of felt ashamed for having all these problems. But right from the beginning the entire LeCuyer & Amato Dentistry organization was amazingly supportive and flexible (special shout out to the front desk staff for how orderly and efficient every visit is). Five Stars for the Best Dentist in Seattle, imho. — PANDEMIC UPDATE — I was inspired to write this review because I was undergoing Invisalign treatment during the end of 2019 and into the start of 2020, right as the Covid-19 situation arrived in Seattle. Through this entire shared ordeal, Dr. Amato and his staff have been very responsive and helpful. There were some small delays due to the Public Health emergency (i.e. city was on lock-down), which is entirely understandable. But through it all there was good communication and I was able to continue my treatment without interruption. Once King Country entered the correct reopening stage, I was able to get an appointment to get back into the office and get right back on schedule. I was very impressed by the level of preparedness and safety I felt during my appointments in June and July. Proper social distancing in the lobby, masks required, temperature checks and all the other elements I would expect in the current situation. These folks are serious about my safety, and I appreciate that.

I had put off going to the dentist in 2020, but felt very safe there. I was warmly greeted and my temperature was taken. Hygienist Debbie explained all of their new protocols to me, and it felt very good to get my teeth cleaned. Lastly, Dr. Amato did a final check and that was pleasant as well. I will not be afraid to come back in six months.

I can’t remember how long I have been coming to here! I guess that means a very, very long timed! I have always had the very BEST service, care and, yes, wait for it, FUN! I don’t have any phobias about the dentist, so if you do, fun might be a little ambitious. But you will get caring and professional care. Julie is my go to gal and I have had all of the dentists. I seem to have landed on Dr. Amato lately. But Dr. LeCuyer is excellent as well. They obviously love their work. I have had extractions, crowns, lots and lots of cleanings, fillings, bleaching and I am sure other procedures of which I cannot recall. I think that is a good thing, right? They run a tight ship and everyone is super professional and kind and caring. I cannot recommend them enough!

LeCuyer and Amato Dentistry is by far the best dentist office I’ve gone to; both Doctor’s are professional & experienced with the current 2013 dentistry technology, Clean, organized office and their staff is friendly and does what it takes to keep you comfortable during your appointment. The front office was very helpful fitting me in around my busy work schedule and helped explain my options of financing. I personally was afraid to smile showing my yellowing crooked teeth prior to receiving my dental work and I had 8 veneers and 3 crowns. The dental work has completely changed my smile and appearance and it’s really hard to keep me from smiling now. Dr. LeCuyer and Dr. Amato you both ROCK! Experience with Dr. Amato and staff continues to be outstanding – even with the complexity of COVID. Of special note is the quality of care by my hygienist Ms. Uyeda. She is caring, direct, thorough, highly skilled and genuinely invested in my oral health. Dr. Amato has always been kind, methodical and pragmatic about my care plan. No pressure, no B.S. – straight up this is how it is and what we should do. Very refreshing. This place is awesome! Staff here are very professional and friendly. I used to go to another dentist in town and was informed that some of the treatments I received long time ago was not properly done. So some work needs to be redone around my teeth and that would cost a lot. I thought about it and decide to seek for a second opinion. Soon i found this place as it has really good reviews. Doctor Lecuyer examined my teeth on my first visit and told me it is not necessary to redo the treatment I had. Also I do not need any treatment apart from regular cleaning and good home care of my teeth. I truly appreciate doctor LuCyer’s professional ethics and courtesy.

Dr. Amato is the only medical professional that I’ve ever known who greets me in the lobby with a good old fashioned handshake. I used to absolutely hate going to the dentist – but not anymore. Dr. Amato and his staff do everything they can to ensure that I’m comfortable and pain free while I’m in for treatment. Even just a cleaning! His office is clean and comfortable and I’m always greeted by name when I walk through the door. I’m not the best patient and I have required extensive dental work. After years of traumatic work with other dentists, Dr. Amato understands my fears and helps me with my ongoing preventative care without judgement. I used to hate going to the dentist but not now; with every visit to Dr. Amato I’m treated like family.

I just recently went for a long overdue cleaning due to Covid. As a paranoid person I was worried, and I felt totally at ease throughout the entire process. Every part of the process from the mobile checkin, to the temp check/smell test and hydrogen peroxide mouthwash before the cleaning, was redesigned with Covid, mask wearing and social distancing in mind, and of the highest importance. I cannot recommend this dental office enough. As always, doctor LeCuyer & Amato’s office continues to provide the highest quality dental care in the greater Seattle area.

I have been going to LeCuyer Dentistry for about 20 years and I would not go anywhere else. The staff, including the hygienists, assistants and ladies at the front desk are terrific! They go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They are always friendly and professional. I get several reminders for my appointments and I am seen promptly. I was in an auto accident 47 years ago and I sustained a broken upper jaw and several broken and missing teeth. I have seen many dentists to repair the damage with poor results. Highly recommend Dr Amato’s team for veneers. After cracking 10 teeth in a car accident I went to Dr Amato for 10 upper veneers. They turned out beautiful and natural. Niki is the designer on his team and she works closely with the client throughout the entire process to ensure the end result is exactly what the patient wants and envisions. Patients work with Niki to select the style, color, shape, etc. Harold is the veneer artist who hand crafts each individual tooth. His work is impeccable. I wore the temporaries for 3 weeks while Harold created the permanents to my exact specifications. During this time, I made a few corrections to get the final outcome I desired. It was comforting that I was dealing with the actual veneer artist rather than “a lab”. After the permanent veneers were applied, it took about 6 weeks to adjust to my new teeth. I’ve had the permanent veneers for 4 months and I can’t appreciate any unnatural feeling or discomfort. My veneers feel natural and look beautiful. Now I want veneers on my lower teeth.

My appointments were always on time, and I was given proper attention and care. They offer early morning appointments for those who cannot easily take time off during the day. In terms of restorative work, I had four porcelain crowns done and they turned out quite well. The clinic works with a professional who takes time to design the crowns to provide a realistic appearance. They are slightly transparent and have all the characteristics of a natural tooth, not a chiclet. I have full confidence in this office and will comeback for my dental needs.

To put it simply, Dr. Amato is the best dentist in Seattle. I have been completely satisfied as a patient here. My teeth have needed a lot of work pretty much all my life– fillings, braces, crowns, and root canals 🙁 I wanted someone who is the best at what they do, and if I have to choose between top quality work and a pleasant experience and pretty office, I’ll take the quality work without hesitation Luckily, as a patient here I don’t have to choose. I’m an unfortunate soul who, despite regular brushing and flossing with great oral hygiene, requires frequent dental work. Dr. Amato is a wonderful dentist, and coming from someone who has had more than her fair share of dental work done, couldn’t recommend him more highly! He is professional, personable, and operates an on-time clinic. I have had two crowns and multiple fillings done with him, and he takes all the time needed to make sure they are done right. My bite feels wonderful, and he takes those extra few minutes to make sure everything is aligned nicely and looks beautiful. He even re-did a front tooth filling making it more cosmetically pleasing. It looks great now, wheras before it bothered me every time I looked in the mirror! Chelsea is a wonderful hygenist, and I try to go to her for all of my appointments. You know all the small differences between toothpastes and which is the best for your particular teeth? No me neither, but she does! She’s a sweetie who knows her stuff, and we always have a great time during appointments. 5 stars for this dental group, all the way!

Dr. Amato has been my dentist now for about five years. When I first came to see him it was an emergency, broken filling, (I could not get into my regular family dentist because it was a friday), his office got me right in, no waiting at all. Since, my first visit I have never returned to my old dentist, who in fact had been treating me since childhood and treated my entire family. I can honestly say, he is the best dentist ever. He such a compassionate man and dentist., I smoke, and he never makes me feel like I’m a bad person for doing so, he simply takes care of me. I have had to have major dental work in the last couple of years and I trust him completely, I can’t imagine having anyone else go near my mouth! I work for Oral Surgeons, so, of course, I am very picky about my teeth and patient care. His office is also wonderful, never have I ever had to wait, nor have I been turned away in a dental emergency. His back office staff are just as kind and compassionate as Dr. Amato is. He is truely one of a kind. If you ever had a fear of dentists you won’t after you see him. As far as the asthetics go, beautiful! My crowns are amazing! He is an artist in the dentistry field and I must add, his shots are almost painless, because he takes great care when giving them. I will be undergoing even more major dentistry work in the next year, and I can’t imagine not having Dr. Amato be the one taking care of me and his wonderful front and back office staff. Dr Amato is amazing. For years I have hated the dentist – in fact I avoided going because it was the worst experience I could imagine. I once kicked a doctor when getting anesthesia – granted I was seven. However, I just joined LeCuyer & Amato Dentistry within the last month – skeptical because of my previous experiences at other dentists. They did a very thorough job during my first cleaning, when I came in for sealants and fillings I was as nervous as can be. The dental assistant was fabulous… she even let me hold her hand during the injections. Dr. Amato was amazing I barely felt anything – and that’s saying something when I have had an irrational fear of the dentist office. I would recommend this dentist for all ages. This dentist office does not disappoint in anyway.

Dr. Amato is fantastic. I recently took a puck to face resulting in a lost tooth and several chips in others. I called Dr. Amato’s emergency number and amazingly he came in at 11PM to fix me up. He was able to save the tooth that was knocked out and repair the others that evening – he even stitched my lips up where I had bitten threw. The teeth look like nothing happen and I could not be more grateful. If you are looking for a dentist this is the place to be – as long as they are practicing dentistry I will happily be one of their most loyal patients and that’s a guarantee.

Oh my goodness, I just have to say that I LOVE this office!! I have been a patient here for years and EVERY ONE of the team members and both doctors exemplifies outstanding patient care and customer service. I love my smile and it’s all thanks to these guys. I cannot say enough good things about them. Specifically though, I wanted to share my most recent experience. I just transferred my daughters from a specialty pedo office, to seeing Dr. Amato for their dental needs as they are growing up and I felt they needed a more mature setting. I admit I was a little nervous at first, with regard to how my girls would be treated, coming from an office with elephants and rainbows painted on the walls and dental assistants who practically did backflips to get them to cooperate. Boy, were my fears allayed the minute we walked in the door. The front office ladies treated my daughters like they were the most special princesses they had ever seen, asked them all sorts of questions to engage them, my girls were huge smiles. And so was I!!! The assistants, Jenn and Jill, were so enthusiastic and outgoing when they came to get the kids from the lobby, I immediately felt at ease, and my girls had a ball with each one of them. Dr. Amato was so kind to each of my children, and compassionate when telling them they they had some “sugar bugs” that needed to be taken care of and that he was going to fix it and it would be easy. My oldest ended up needing an extraction to make room for some orthodontic treatment that she was being seen for elsewhere. She was extremely nervous. Which made MOM extremely nervous as well. All I can say is that I couldn’t have been more pleased with how she was cared for. Jill was amazing while Dr. Amato anesthetized (yes, I am the psycho mom that hangs out behind the door and listens, ready to rush in at any moment and rescue my child – which I’m sure is totally annoying but the office didn’t make me feel like a freak at all for doing this – another huge PLUS!) and I didn’t hear a peep out of her. I was astounded!! The procedure took a little bit longer than anticipated, since that darn baby tooth was pretty well stuck in there and needed some coaxing out (all of this was clearly explained to me as they showed me the tooth, pointed out the root structure, I felt 100% included) and they were smiles and positive comments the whole time while being incredibly gentle. I was genuinely impressed and grateful. And to top it off, later that very evening, Dr. Amato HIMSELF, called to check on his patient and see how she was feeling. I could have fallen off of my chair!! What a caring dentist to go that extra mile. My daughter felt so special and important and I was truly touched. They LOVE going to the dentist and I am so thankful for this office and how they take care of my family’s smiles. Oh and another giant plus, Dr. Amato administers Botox!!! And since I am posting anonymously, I have no problem saying this, haha. Yes, I will never leave this office. I used to go to a plastic surgeon’s office in Bellevue for my Botox, but Dr. Amato is so skilled and I NEVER get a bruise, I just combine it with my regular visits and it totally saves me a trip. I’m one happy patient. With great teeth and minimal wrinkles. All thanks to this office.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Amato for several years (more than 10 yrs. going LeCuyer Dentistry). One thing I can say is that I am not going to see any other dentists. Dr. LeCuyer and Dr. Amato are the best dentists in Seattle. Period. I’ve been seeing Dr. LeCuyer and Dr. Amato for over a decade and I’m so pleased with my care. Dr. Lecuyer is highly skilled and has a great eye for cosmetic dentistry. I recently had my veneers done by Dr. LeCuyer and I’m thrilled with the results. They are so beautiful and look like my natural teeth. Dr. LeCuyer’s and Dr. Amato’s staff is top notch. They are always available to book me in for dental emergencies and have always done a superb job of billing my insurance. Dr. Lecuyer and Dr. Amato are extremely fair with their billing practices and have NEVER overcharged me and are very ethical with their business practices. My husband sees Dr. Amato and couldn’t be more happy with his dental care. He recently had a diagnosed dental abscess and needed a root canal and subsequent crown. Due Dr. Amato’s efficient ability to diagnosis and treat my husband, he saved his tooth. Their practice also has the most advanced and recent dental technology which I appreciate it. It just feels good to have a dentist that is reliable, ethical and with extensive expertise! Look no further if you are in need of the best in dental care.

Today 9/18/19 I had an appointment with Dr. Amoto. This was not a regular appointed as I had cracked a tooth two days before. I explained all this to the receptionist over the phone and I was very grateful that I could be seen on such short notice. When I arrived they took an X-ray and did everything they needed to prep and to fix the tooth the dentist tells me he doesn’t have time to fix it. I was very shocked and I asked ” why would they schedule a doctors appointment for me on a day that you didn’t have time?” Firstly I completely explained my situation to the person that made appointment. To make a long story short I explained how disappointed I was and the many sacrifices I made to even come today. I know the dr. could tell I wasn’t thrilled. He was able to fit me in that day. I have been a patient of Dr Amato for years. I’m 47 years old and can say that his practice is hands down the best dental office I’ve ever been to. Dr Amato is personable, smart, has a wonderful bed side manner and is just a fantastic dentist. He is a perfectionist and I am very happy with the work he has done on my teeth over the years. They offer cosmetic procedures but are not pushy at all. Dr Amato is ethical and highly trustworthy. He is an expert and I trust his decisions (unfortunately not true of previous dentists I’ve seen). My Hygienist, Debbie is truly amazing. She is meticulous. My teeth have never felt so good. I would go to her monthly if I could because my teeth feel fantastic afterwards. I should have married a dentist. I have had 8 root canals, am the proud owner of 8 crowns, had jaw surgery, an implant, and braces. So I am an expert on Dentists! I met Dr. Amato in a beginner Italian class over a decade ago. At the time, I was with another dentist who I had been with for a decade. I was no longer getting caring treatment there (for several years). So I decided to go in and see Dr. Amato. Why I did not switch dentists sooner still baffles me! Dr. Amato and his staff are smart, top of class in their knowledge base, begin with the most conservative treatment (instead of trying to sell you the moon), communicate effectively and with warmth, and genuinely lovely people. Their prices are more than fair. So if you need a quality dentist that is also a good person Dr. Amato is wonderful.

No one really likes going to the dentist do they? For most it is almost like being in a live action horror movie. That’s not the case with Dr. Amato and his staff. Today was my second appointment to do some fillings. Honestly, I was nervous about going because it’s the dentist BUT then I thought about Dr. Amato and his staff and how comfortable they made me feel last time. It put me at ease. Dr. Amato has a great way of putting you at ease and even making you laugh. From the amazing front desk ladies to the smiling hygienists, everyone at LeCuyer and Amato are AMAZING!!!! I am so happy that I found them!!! If you dread going to the dentist definitely check out Dr. Amato. He will change your mind!!!!
