This was my first visit to legacy Dental. I took my 2 year old son along who is terrified of contact from people he doesn’t know. His anxiety is extreme and I knew it would be pretty impossible for the dentist to get into his mouth. Dr. Castro was very reassuring and clearly has tons of experience with children because he knew exactly how to turn my sons experience into a good one! I held him the entire time his teeth were being examined, and the Dr. Addressed all of my questions and concerns. He also provided feedback on what we could do better in order to ensure Judah continues to have a healthy smile. I never felt judged for one second. My appointment was immediately after and my experience was just as fabulous as Judah’s. I want to say my hygienists name was Maria? Or something very similar! She was amazing, we had a great discussion, and she made the X-ray experience, which is typically daunting, very enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable at her craft. Again, the Dr. Was able to come and follow up with me pretty promptly and give recommendations based on my exam to ensure I continue to have a healthy smile. They will openly talk with you about insurance and what your specific plan covers, too. In my experience, many places aren’t as opened to doing that. Everyone here undoubtedly has integrity, which is tremendously important to me when it comes to any healthcare provider.. especially one dealing with my children. Thanks for such a great experience!

Dr. Castros office does an amazing job to make sure you are prepared and relaxed during your visit. They have options like aromatherapy, pillows and eye masks to make sure your relaxed. Dr. Castro makes sure to explain all procedures before he begins. The office staff is wonderful and contacts the insurance company beforehand so I’m never surprised about co-pays.

I took my 3 children there today for the first time and instantly felt welcomed.  The receptionist was very hospitable.  I was invited to come to the back where my children were being examined and the doctors talked to me about their concerns.  The dental assistants were also very  friendly.  There was a hiccup with my insurance and the receptionist dealing with that resolved the issue.   I’m so glad I chose this dentist office and will be coming back. I won’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Legacy dental is great. The entire staff is kind, considerate, and friendly. I have been going there for over 8 years and really think the service they give is wonderful. I use their dental savings plan and it has saved us a ton of money. When either my husband or I need work done that is expensive, they have worked with us to get it scheduled and by using the dental savings plan we have found a way to pay for it. They even found us a 0 interest credit card for the work if we paid it off within a certain amount of time.. I would not go anywhere else.

If anybody is actively searching for one or thinks their dentist is just ok, pay attention. So not all have been bad, but I have had multiple bad experiences with different dentists that I think did horrible jobs and I had zero trust with them. The last place I went to was an abomination and had me seeking out new dentist. Thankfully, I had seen many good things written about Dr. Castro‘s office in Chester. So I decided to give them a try. The appointment process over the phone was very easy and friendly which even that is a change from my past dentist offices. Today, the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. An assistant brought me to the back and took me on a brief tour explaining different things about the office and showing me where different things were. When I got to my room, I had a small gift bag waiting for me on the chair. She did a brief interview with me about my likes and dislikes as well as things that were important to me relating to my teeth and dentist offices. She then handed me a piece of paper and asked which of these comfort measures I would like to use today. On the list were complementary things such as an eye mask, a heated blanket, or essential oils. Then if you choose to pay for it, you could get sedation as well. At first I politely declined any comfort measure but after quickly thinking about it, I figured why not and I had lavender oil dripped on my bib. Then my hygienist came back and did a quick interview with me as well took x-rays and started the exam. It was a very thorough exam and she explained all that she was doing along the way and it was virtually painless which is something that most hygienists apparently are no longer taught. The dentist came back and spent more time with me than most any dentist had before and did a great job explaining everything and making sure I had no questions. The scheduling process was very simple and the checkout process was very quick and easy and the girl there was very friendly as well. The head dentist walked by me in the hallway and greeted me and shook my hand before I left. Everybody there was absolutely incredible, friendly, smiling, and everyone of them shook my hand when they met me. I have been searching for a dentist office that I could trust and I think I have finally found that location. If you do not currently have a dentist or are not happy with your current dentist, Dr. Castro‘s office is where you need to be! (And also if you happen to become a new patient there, make sure they know I referred you so I can be entered into a drawing. The fact that I can be entered into a drawing though has zero bearing on me writing this referral. This would’ve been written regardless because they were just that good.)

Friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Castro and his wife did an excellent job explaining everything in a way I could understand and recommending what is needed. They also let me know what insurance would cover before the time of service, where at other offices they are extremely vague. Thanks to the staff at this office for being so helpful during my visit!

In writing reviews I stray to the left. Dr. Castro has been my dentist for quite some time. My history with Dentists would make your hair stand on ends.I have always dreaded to go to the dentist (even for cleanings). Every time I would go to the dentist as a child it was “HELLHOUSE” for me. My fear of the dentist is because of the way my anatomy is. Sometimes the anatomy doesn’t cooperate like that of other people’s anatomy and they get a mouth like mine. I have these massive buckles of bone that hold my teeth in. Yeah, I may not have to worry about receding bone density but when it comes time for being numbed — Forget it! You can’t stick a needle in it- it’s protected by bone! Gas dosen’t work. And forget about blocks. When I’d leave the dentist, I was swollen and mentally traumatized. Then Dr. Castro started practicing conscious sedation. Now all I remember is that amazing Jordan and her great smile. The music, the pillows and all the champagne. Then I don’t remember one damned thing. I will go to no other dentist – the only man to say STOP I’m not killing this man.

Dr Castro is such a delight. All of the dental assistants and office staff are such a joy. They all make you feel welcome and are super friendly. They are so understanding and patient when it comes to my hectic schedule. Thanks you all for all that you do!

I felt very secure in every procedure administered. Steven A. Castro and your staff showed outstanding Professionalism and courtesy in helping me get the care and attention needful for my procedure.
