Irina Starik is a great dentist. I’ve been going to see her for over 7 years and even after i moved out of the neighborhood i still go out of my way to see her. Kate was my recent dental hygienist and was the best dental hygienist i have ever encountered! The experience was comfortable and painless. Staff is friendly and welcoming 🙂

So thankful for every person that helped me today. I had an emergency and the team at Lenox Hill Dental were amazing with the support, efficiency, and expertise. I could not ask for better service than I got today. I had so many questions and they listened to them all and answered all my questions. Today could have been such a stress filled and emotional day- but it was not due to the efforts of the staff. Walked into their office hiding my teeth and by the end of the day, I was smiling ear to ear. Thank you so much!

Excellent dental care. The office is conveniently located 2 blocks away from subway. All staff take great care and time to ensure all your questions are answered. Whether it’s looking up insurance information to see what is covered, to explaining recommended procedures and treatments. Dentists and hygienists show great attention to detail during appointments. I am also impressed that I have never waited an extra minute for any appointment. Would recommend to anyone looking for professional dental care.

This is absolutely the best dental practice I’ve had in NYC. The staff is relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly. The facility is clean, well maintained, and modern. I’ve never had any issues with scheduling, and they have automated services to remind you of your appointments through text message. Dr. Starik also took care of my cavities, which was a fast, relatively simple procedure. The staff is very capable of dealing with insurance and, regardless have a really affordable rate if you don’t have insurance ($125 a cleaning, they’ve told me). I have tried several dentists since visiting the city, but I now have no need to find a new one. This is my favorite. They make going to the dentist a pleasure.

From the moment I walked into Dr.Starik”s beautiful office I immediately felt comfortable. I had some anxiety about going to the dentist,but Dr. Starik made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I have already recommended her to my friends and family, and will be bring my children into see her later this month! She and her staff were friendly and professional, and Dr.Starik was knowledgeable while also being approachable….Loved my experience!

I met both Dr.Starik and Dr.Ares and they are both great. They take time to explain everything they do before they do it and are just pleasant all around. I have very sensitive teeth and hate pain, but when I go there they have patience and give me all the time and Novocain I need to feel comfortable. Although a couple of times I had a bit of a wait, the majority of the times I am seen right away. The office is clearly run in a very efficient way.

I was a patient of Dr. Heller (let’s not forget Marian) for 20 years. Never thought he’d retire, but I can honestly say that the practice has not missed a beat. Dr. Starik (and Lisa – so nice!) and the whole team are A+ in my opinion. Just had a cracked front tooth crown replaced and the whole procedure from A to Z was seamless. Most important is it looks great. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a great dentistry team, look no further!!!

I’ve been going to Lenox Hill Dental for at least four years. I recently went in for my bi-yearly cleaning and they have upgraded safety precautions for COVID-19. I felt completely safe throughout the process. I always thoroughly enjoy my visits (I know an odd thing to say about going to the dentist, but it’s true). The staff are extremely kind and pleasant. Cleanings and fillings are always completed without any discomfort. It’s with confidence and experience that I can say they always do a great job with the few fillings I’ve had in the past and I’ve never had any pain or issues afterwards. I used to worry about seeing the dentist, but I never have to think twice or worry about upcoming appointments here. They always address my concerns and have really helped me improve my dental health. This is really important to me since before finding Lenox Hill, I did not consistently get dental care. All of the staff I’ve met are extremely pleasant and understanding. It’s easy to schedule and the availability is great for those who are always busy. Dr. Starik and her staff make going to the dentist easy and painless. I’m so happy to have them on the Upper East Side and I always recommend them to my close friends. Overall, a fantastic dentist office and I hope to be a patient for a very long time

Very friendly and helpful staff! I always get anxious when having to switch dental offices, but both Dr. Starik and Dr. Silard have been gems after moving to the city. Trustworthy, honest, and great bedside manner. They have each taken the time to answer all of my questions while not making me feel as if I’m being rushed. Their recommendations are thoughtful and measured – definitely not the “drill happy” type. Highly recommend!

I had my appointment at 10 AM. I got to the office way earlier, but I thought I just sit down and wait for my appointment there. To my surprise, they were able to start my treatments right away, so I didn’t even have to wait for my appointment! They did thorough exams before they started the treatment. I am very satisfied, highly recommended.

I have been a patient for over 7 years and I can say that the attention and care I receive at this office is second to none. They are always very accommodating to my schedule which I appreciate. The cleanings are meticulous and pleasant. Luckily I have only needed 2 fillings over the past several years but both experiences were easy and painless.

I came to the practice after having to switch from my hometown dentist when I was at work and my crown came out. Dr. Starik was able to quickly squeeze me in and even stayed late after hours to fix my tooth. I always thought I had an okay dentist since the visits weren’t the horror that other people would describe, however, after visiting Dr. Starik I can say I now have a GREAT dentist. My teeth have always been a bit of a problem for me, but after treatment with Dr. Starik I can feel a significant improvement. I have had two fillings and a crown done by Dr. Starik and can honestly say the experience was pleasant, pain free, and (best of all) fast! She explained everything clearly and walked me through the entire procedure. I can also be a bit of a clean freak, so any small sign of dust will scare me away from doctors office. Dr. Starik’s office is new, clean, bright, and professional. Could not ask for more. P.S. Lana the hygienist is awesome! Easiest cleanings I have had.

I love this office. Dr. Starik always explains what needs to be done and why. She does beautiful work. I come for cleaning every 3 months with Lana. She is the best hygienist. My gums are in the best shape ever. Lorena, the assistant, is very sweet and Rebecca will work with your scheduling and insurance. Everyone is highly professional at that office.

I don’t usually write reviews but I love this office. All the doctors and staff are super friendly. I moved to NYC from LA a few months ago and was looking for a dentist. I tried a couple other offices on the upper east side but was never happy with the cleanliness of the office and walked out. This feels like a professional office the second you get in. The only pain I had my entire visit was getting through the front door… it was a little heavy ;).

I’ve been going to Lenox Hill Dental for at least three years! I’m so happy to have found them in the city. I normally put off dentist cleanings and wasn’t going normally until I found Dr. Starik and her staff! They are absolutely amazing! The cleanings and fillings are always done with the gentlest touch. I did not need any fillings during this visit, but have gotten several in the past. If I need more numbing or feel pain they always stop to address the issue. I’ve never had any issues with any of my fillings or with tooth pain after visiting. They always address my concerns and give fantastic tips to help me keep my teeth healthy. This is really important to me who has never had great teeth. All of the staff I’ve met have always been accommodating and pleasant to deal with! The hours available are also great for someone who is always busy. I usually come in on time and get seen right away. Overall, a fantastic dentist office and I hope to be a patient for a very long time.

Dr. Starik made me feel really comfortable during my cleaning and fillings. I was looking to finally transition to a dentist in Manhattan and am really glad to have come across her office. It was really easy to make an appointment and she saw me right away. I highly recommend Dr. Starik and will definitely be back.

I’ve been going to Dr. Starik for more than 5 years and I trust her a lot. I’m someone who is generally very afraid of dentists and doctors, but Dr. Starik has treated me well and puts me at ease. She takes the time to answer questions and shows compassion for the patient’s concerns. I think she has given me good dental care advice over the years, and she has helped me with issues such as fillings, teeth whitening, and retainers. I highly recommend her

I look forward to going to the dentist! I love the team at Lenox Hill…from the polite reminders to the care and gentle attention of my teeth. Also they don’t make you feel so bad when your teeth aren’t as great as they should be between cleanings. They are great to work with and my teeth have never been in better shape.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 6+ years. Dr Starik and her staff were excellent and prompt with my exam, as well as the accommodation for a quick filling. I liked that she explained what she was doing before she did it – this type of bedside manner greatly helps put a patient at ease and instills confidence in her hands. I highly recommend her practice.
