After four years going here, I’m still amazed how amazing the staff and the care is. We’ve been able to keep my gum recession under control. I even had a graft done here rather than having to trek to another office. The polish at the end of a cleaning is a nice touch. The technology is up to date! Lovely experience.

Can’t say enough how I genuinely enjoyed my visit here. The staff is patient and kind, and the office itself is really cute! This was my first visit post the first pandemic surge, needless to say my mouth needed some TLC. Dr. Bindner was wonderful at explaining all that was going on with my oral health, told me what to look out for, and helped me with a potential treatment plan. Not to mention my clean my thorough and comfortable. Looking forward to my follow up visit.

Was nervous about finding a new dentist after my previous dentist retired, so I hadn’t been in a few years. Finally came here and weirdly it felt a bit like going to a spa. My hygienist, Katie, took my x-rays, evaluated my gums, and ways able to point out some areas that were likely in trouble. Dr. Saran walked me through all of the issues they were able to pinpoint and then talked me through the treatment options I had. They presented me with best/worst case scenarios and a comprehensive treatment plan. I had many questions, and all were addressed with knowledge, patience, and no judgment over my lapse in treatment. My first procedure was slightly uncomfortable, but the noise canceling headphones and Katie’s deft hands did their absolute best to make the time pass quickly and my recovery to take less time than anticipated. I left the office with detailed follow-up instructions, and the front desk staff did an excellent job walking me through billing and scheduling.

The staff and service have been consistently kind, courteous, professional through my numerous visits throughout the years. I look forward to my relaxing visits- I almost feel like I’m being pampered here, is that weird? But who doesn’t like walking out with sparkling clean teeth and gums? I have only fantastic things to say about my experience. My prior dentist retired and, being my typical self, I had not bothered to get a new one. So, of course I fractured a tooth. An acquaintance suggested I call LIC Dental Associates, and I was immediately impressed. Brian, who took my call, was nothing but friendly and helpful. Dr. Saran was courteous and professional. He agreed to see me, apologizing that the procedure might take a while because he also had to see his regularly scheduled patients; yet I still was in and out in under two hours. Who agrees to see a non-established patient for an emergency? On a Friday? Of a three day weekend? Wow.

Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. From start to finish I felt welcome and comfortable. I met with Dr. Saran and the hygienist, Katie, who went over what was going to be done during the visit and then had X-rays done on-site! This new technology is really satisfying as you can see the images instantly on the computer. When it was time to get started with the cleaning I was given a heated lavender neck pillow (so nice!) and an iPod attached to Bose noise-cancelling headphones to drown out the noisy part of the process. At the end of it all I was handed a warm cleansing cloth to wipe off my face and hands, truly concluding the cleansing experience. Other standout features of this office include iPads for check in and also for using in the waiting area, an open-space layout, and gentle tunes playing in the background. This amazing experience makes me want to return again and again! And I certainly can’t say I’ve said that before regarding dental care!

In all honesty I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple years when I started going to LIC dental and my gums were not in good shape. After a year of getting regular treatments here my teeth and gums are at optimum health. It’s truly a luxurious experience getting a cleaning here — you are offered a hot or cold beverage of your choice upon arrival, during the procedure I was given a blanket and an iPod with soothing music, and the cleaning was so good that it felt as if my teeth and gums had been given a full massage when the deep cleaning was finished. Instructions and payments were upfront and clear and I give this office my very highest recommendation. You cannot go wrong with anyone at LIC Dental!

This was my first visit to dentist after very long time. I reached to the doctor’s office on time. The place reminded me of a spa and you can call it a dental Spa. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was greeted by receptionist and they took copies of my ID and Insurance card. I was offered tea/coffee/water. Katie escorted me to one of the room where she collected my dental history and other information. She was quite informative and who went over what was going to be done during the visit. Dr Ishwinder Saran was personable and provided good description of the issues and solutions. Brian provided me a total rundown of all the procedures covered by my insurance and they provided me a good deal for the things not covered. I will definitely recommend Dr Ishwinder Saran and will continue to have him as my primary dentist.

I broke a tooth right at the beginning of the “pause.” I was able to reach the practice and had a virtual consult with Dr. Saran, who was reassuring and gave me advice about how to handle the situation until it was safe to see patients with emergencies. LIC Dental Associates is so not your typical dental office. A clean, inviting, calming, high ceilinged modern facility with a lovely staff- Brian and Stephanie are really the best front office staff I’ve ever encountered in any medical field- and dedicated, unrushed, detailed care and attention while you’re in the chair makes this one of the best dental experiences you could possibly have. Major bonus points for helping keep my 2 yr old engaged when I had to bring her to an appt with me. When a babysitter canceled at the last minute I hoped my child would nap through my cleaning, but anyone with children know things don’t always go as planned. Amazingly, this facility has a playroom! Plus kind, understanding staff that play with kids! They have a pediatric dentist on Saturdays and know how to make kids feel comfortable. Great place to start one’s experience with dentists. Come and bring your family, this is one dental office you will enjoy visiting.

Very happy with my first visit here. Very clean, modern, professional environment. I have been a patient here for several years now and have always been very happy with them. Now it is in 2020, I was a bit anxious to go and get my teeth cleaned & checked. Can I skip this year? But my fear of having a toothache in the middle of pandemic outweighed and I finally made made an appointment. A day before the appointment, I received an email outlining the COVID protocols and a form to fill out. It was easy enough. I arrived on time and check-in was smooth as always. The office has always been clean, but now it was spotless with protections everywhere. It was so clean, you can literally perform a surgery there. They took my temperature, cleaned and checked my teeth no problem. Not only did I feel safe, but also the staff must feel safe working there given the PPE they are wearing. Very impressive! If there is anyone looking for a dentist during and after COVID, I’d recommend LIC Dental Associates hands down.

My dad is a dentist and had been my only dentist until I came to Dr Saran at LIC Dental Associates — and I can’t say enough great things about him and his practice! The front desk staff is so pleasant and accommodating and the office itself is designed with the patient’s comfort in mind. Dr Saran is thorough, kind, and has an eagle eye for perfect work. From check ups to more extensive issues requiring a surgical procedure, he and the dentists at the practice are simply top notch and value not only the end result but your experience in getting there. Dr. Saran is incredible! I have very sensitive teeth and gums and was always in pain for days after a trip to the dentist. This was not the case with Dr. Saran! The office was so easy to find and when I entered the facility was clean smelled great. The front desk staff, Stephanie and Brian both welcomed me and offered me a beverage. I instantly felt more relaxed! Brian had me fill out my new patient paperwork on an easy-to-use iPad. Once I was done, they took me back right away. Beautiful office within 2 minutes from the 7 train in LIC. It’s only one stop after grand central. The staff is very professional and personable. All of their equipment looks top notch. My children and I all use LIC Dental. As crazy as it sounds, my children actually look forward to the dentist (due to amazing waiting room, television screen during treatment, choice of flavors of paste and prizes after). I can’t say that I look forward to the dentist, but I’m always amazed by what a wonderful office this is – I cracked a tooth last week. I stopped by on my way home, and they squeezed me in for quick xray to confirm my self-diagnosis. Temporary crown in yesterday. Bottom line, I will never look forward to dental work (my kids are nuts), but this office is amazing (and I’m not saying that because of the fancy espresso machine or the tazo tea selection). Oh – and they do the insurance stuff for you!
