Dr. Makuta is fantastic and everything you could hope for in a dentist. She was originally recommended to me by my orthodontist after I started my Invisalign treatment. I was so happy with Dr. Makuta that I switched to her as my permanent dentist and moved my family to her practice as well. Dr. Makuta’s friendly personality made me feel welcome, and her equally friendly office staff were extremely patient as I worked out some problems with my insurance — they never once pressured me for payment as I resolved the issue. Dr. Makuta has always shown concern for my overall comfort each time I visit and always takes the time to explain the various procedures as well as the overall all care plan for my Invisalign treatment. She really puts effort into her patients’ care. Just a great all-around experience and I highly recommend Dr. Makuta as a dentist!

Dr. Makuta is one of the best, if not the best, dentist that has ever treated me. She is efficient, detailed, and very caring/concerned about oral health and hygiene. Staff is awesome, office location is great, and Dr. Makuta is always on time for appointments (no sitting around the office waiting). My wife and I got very lucky to find her and I would highly recommend her. She’s awesome.

Dr. Makuta is one of the best dentists I have ever been to! She’s very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, really listens, and does a great job. Last year I had to have a crown and Dr. Makuta made the process painless and I left feeling like I didn’t have work done. I always feel confident when I go to her. I just had a cleaning and the office was well sanitized and all precautions were exceedingly met. Making an appointment is easy and they send you a text with your appointment details. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist!

I have been going to Dr. Makuta for at least 7 years and I can honestly say  she and her staff are the VERY BEST.  She has the best dental hygienists who are so sweet, patient, knowledgeable and give the best cleaning. My teeth are always  glowing after a cleaning and I can’t stop smiling. In addition I never feel rushed. The best and most thorough cleanings I have ever had. Also the receptionist is absolutely wonderful and makes scheduling appointments and paying a breeze. As for Dr. Makuta, she is a perfectionist and cares about what she does and cares about her patients. She is AMAZING at explaining everything and makes you feel so comfortable. She is INCREDIBLY honest and I trust her wholeheartedly if she says I need something done. You just know you are in  good hands with Dr. Makuta. She is also so down to earth and approachable. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else and feel lucky to have found her!

Dr. Makuta sees our whole family. She is professional and extremely caring. My son has extreme phobia of the dentist and Dr. Makuta Has gained his trust with her calm yet confident approach.  She is honets, trust worthy and provides excellent care.  She is great with all ages, even checking our 1 yr old’s four little teeth.  She is the only dentist I want to care for my family.   We love Dr. Makuta!

Very comprehensive office!! Dr. Makuta treats the whole patient and not just your teeth. She is very thorough. She takes time to explain what is going on so that the patients have a good understanding of what goes on inside their mouths. Friendly staff. Great office for children as well.

This is by far the best dentist office that I have ever been to! The dentists, Makuta and Moriguchi are thorough and professional.These dentists, their ofgice manager, and dental technician are friendly and take great care to provide the best service. They made my teen and preteen daughters smile, laugh, and look forward to returning. These ladies are tooth fairies!

Dr. Makuta is my favorite cosmetic dentist in Encino. She’s a kind and honest person that makes you actually look forward to going to the dentist. Dr Makuta is the best dentist I’ve ever had. Normally, I come out crying from a routine cleaning but not with her. She is so gentle, I can almost fall asleep. Now she is really honest about her opinions. She will tell you that you don’t need it and isn’t one to add treatments to line her pockets. She even did some cool treatment to my head when I told her I had a headache to help make it go away. Linda’s office is equipped with all the good stuff. Together with her great personality at making you feel at home, I can’t recommend her enough times to anyone. Go to her for some solid quality care

I am extremely grateful for Dr. Makuta and her assistant ( and her office manager). They are amazing. Dr Makuta and her assistant both have outstanding bedside manners. Even when busy Dr Makuta tries to accommodate you and you truly goes above and beyond. She is Smart certified and is the person to go to for mercury removal. She truly cares about your health and I literally drive 6 hours just to see her. I do not want to find a new dentist where I now live. She is worth the trip.

For the first time in my life, I actually enjoy going to the dentist.  Dr. Makuta’s warm and caring manner is a delight, as is her very informative approach to treatment.  Her entire office has a friendly and welcoming feel.   My wife and daughter have followed me as patients and we are all very happy to be under her care.   Unlike other dentists we have had, she doesn’t try to oversell us on elective treatment and, when Dr. Makuta  recommends a course of action, you know that she is spot on. I highly recommend her as a family dentist to anyone in need of such professional service.

Dr. Makuta is one of the most trustworthy and caring dentists I have ever been to. I have autoimmune issues that have left my mouth very dry causing lots of damage and decay. She has managed to help me maintain the health of my gums and teeth, and has never taken advantage of my need for intense dental care by over charging or making me spend money on things I don’t need. I’ve been going to her for 4 years now, and recommend her to ANYONE looking for an honest dentist who genuinely cares about them and their overall health!

I’ve been seeing Linda Makuta for many years for all my dental needs. Now I have her servicing my growing family. She’s always been upfront on all my questions of what I should or shouldn’t do. It also helps that she’s got the gentlest hands when it comes to teeth cleaning. I’ve visited many dentists and dental hygienists and often felt traumatized and left a bloody mess. Not with Linda. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Dr. Makuta is a great dentist overall. She is very knowledgeable and knows all the latest technology for dentistry. I have been going to her for several years. She always has a good recommendation that is spot on when I need an intervention. I have gum recession and through her interventions it has helped me to maintain so my recession does not get any worse.  She is very warm, has integrity and is a good listener to what your needs are or what you might be going through.  I would recommend her if you need a good dentist.

I’ve been going to Dr.Makuta for about 8 months now and I couldn’t be happier with her services.  She is a fantastic dentist.  She is extremely honest and explains everything in a way that makes sense.  I got my invisaligns with her about 3 months ago and she has been amazing and very precise the entire step of the way.  I highly recommend her.

The Doctor and her staff are very congenial and caring. Great care is taken with my comfort. I also received some excellent suggestions for improving the health of my gums and teeth. I can totally recommend her, and the staff.

Dr. Makuta is great! I have always been hesitant about going to to the dentist since I stopped going to my family dentist in high school but I now look forward to going to the dentist. She truly cares about your oral health as well as your overall health. Dr. Makuta takes her time with her patients, which is hard to find now. I never had a dentist perform a periodontal exam so that was very cool!

I highly recommend Dr. Makuta. On my first visit she took the time to really explain what to look for on my x-rays which no other dentist has done before. She really wants to make sure you understand what you are looking at in case you ever relocate to ensure you don’t get taken advantage of. Who does that? She does because she truly cares for her patients! My first visit I thought I was going to have a bunch of work done. I expressed my concerns and Dr. Makuta ensured what I thought I needed to have done was not necessary. Where I think most other dentists would have just cashed in and did the work. That’s honest integrity! Not to mention Sue the receptionist is very friendly and really is accommodating. My schedule is hard to predict and I have had to change appointments. She goes above and beyond! If you are looking for a dentist stop now and schedule an appointment with Dr. Makuta. You will be glad you did!

What an amazing dentist Dr. Makuta is, and her office assistants are the best!! I was fit in the same day with an urgency and taken care of by caring and knowledgeable professionals! I recommend them highly!

Since I started going to Dr. Makuta, she is now seeing my wife and children as well as my father. My mom is too loyal to step away from punishments from her 1970s era doctor dentist… she’ll say see the light. Dr. Makuta is very caring, takes time to listen first, then explain what she sees, then presents options. She is always looking out for the best interest of my mouth, which is what I pay her for and why I refer my family & friends to her.

I just had my first appt with Dr. Makuta. First and foremost, she was a professional. She was also extremely friendly, patient and kind with me. You can tell she cares about her patients’ teeth and overall well being.  I would and will, recommend her to my family and friends.

I’d like to preface this review by stating how afraid I am of going to the dentist. I was sure I’d continue to have this anxiety for the rest of my life until I met Dr. Makuta. She is amazing! Literally, she walked me through everything she was doing; X-rays, (I got to see them on the screen as she took them) checking my gums, everything. I found out my teeth are in much better health than I thought! Seriously, if you’re worried like I was and didn’t go to a dentist for YEARS, try out Linda Makuta, because she made it so much easier for me. She and her staff were kind, attentive and overall gentle and efficient in their work. Thank you, I WILL be back!
