She has been extremely detail oriented, honest, and gentle throughout each procedure, and I feel comfortable putting all my trust and confidence in her. I’ve also enjoyed cuddling with Softie, her therapy dog, while getting work done. Softie allowed me to relax and focus on my smile goals! I just had some chair veneers done and they look beautiful. It really is as good as it gets!! Dr. Shay and her team take SUCH GOOD CARE of their patients. I am the kind of person that is really worried about dental procedures, even just going is scary! The office of Dr. Shay could not be more welcoming- there are two dogs, goldfish, plants, coffee and tea for while you wait. One of her pups, Softie, will come and sit on you during your procedures- a real therapy dog. Dr. Shay explains everything, in a nice, slow and calm manner so that you really understand what you are about to go through. She also offers you different options so that everything is happening at a pace that is comfortable for you, for example we were doing a whitening procedure and the thing holding open my mouth made my gums sore so we stopped, and she let me continue during another session. The work she does is -impeccable- I cannot say enough good things about her skills. She is careful and effective. My teeth are looking so much better and Im proud to smile now! Did I mention she lets you watch movies while the procedures are happening? There are headphones on and you are just perfectly distracted!! I can’t imagine going anywhere else- she is such a good person, and makes you feel very special and taken care of during your time. I wish I could send everyone I know to Dr. Shay!

I have no words to describe the way I feel about the lips Dr. Shay has gifted me. I feel like a complete new person, and I love it. I came to Dr. Shay with a couple of pictures of what I had in mind and after reviewing them together she gave me her professional opinion and together we decided what would be best for me. I have to admit that I was bit nervous for the change but she walked me through the whole process with kindness and comfort. I love Dr. Shay. The procedure didn’t take more than 20 mins it was not painful at all. Dr. Shay provided me with a personal mirror so that together we could see the progress. Immediately after she was done I could see the change and I was absolutely amazed by the art she created with my lips. After all the reviews I read I was expecting my lips to be bruised the next day but I had no bruises no pain she is amazing. I had my teeth whitened for the first time in over 10 years and it was completely pain free and I’m so happy with the results. Watching my favorite Netflix show with Softie the emotional support dog on my lap for a cuddle during the treatment was the best! I also had a little botox and Dr Shay is an absolute perfectionist making sure she really understood my face and the way it moved before starting. Dr Shay is a dream! She made me feel at ease during the whole appt and she’s so knowledgable and professional. I ruined my teeth smoking and the damage finally caught up with me. When I was able to quit, my bad teeth were a constant reminder of the past. Fortunately, my periodontist recommended Dr. Shayestehfar. I decided to go ahead with implants and while it is a very disagreeable process, Dr. Shayestehfar makes it as pleasant as possible. The temporary partial is beautiful. Everything has been without pain, even the bleaching. She is filling some very old cavities and will basically rebuild my mouth in a way I never dreamed was possible. She is an artist, not just an extraordinarily talented dentist. I could not be more pleased. She has watched over me and helped me with my considerable anxiety. Her office staff is warm and helpful. I never thought I would so much enjoy going to the dentist. I recommend her to anyone needing considerable dental work and hesitating to go forward. I don’t know why I waited so long!

Dr. Shayestehfar has been amazing. I have had a few bad dental experiences and had started going to the dentist once a year for my regular cleaning and dealing with problems as they arise. I was referred to Dr. Shayestehar by my oral surgeon and have not been disappointed with my work thus far. Please know that I had come in originally for repairs and ended up with an extensive plans to repair my smile, beyond any expectations that I have ever had. I came to Dr. Shayestehfar after being away from a dentist for about six years. She came highly recommended from a good friend, so I put my fear of dentists aside and made an appointment. I’m so glad I did. Her kindness, incredible staff, and state of the art office impressed me, even before she started doing her work. I’m usually scared of dentists, but she kept me calm and relaxed while working quickly and painlessly. I needed a considerable number of cavities filled, and now months after having them filled, I can say her work is excellent and has held up without problem. I needed a slight follow up on one filling, and she saw me the same day and took care of it, making sure I knew that if I needed anything else, that she would be there. She’s great at answering questions and making sure I know what I need to know to stay healthy. Sometimes with doctors I don’t get the sense that patients matter that much. I’ve been going to Dr. Shay, since I’ve moved here in LA about 3 years ago. I can’t say enough about Dr. Shay. She’s not only great at what she does but she’s so warm and welcoming. She’s a good soul. Her office is nice, spacious and very cozy. For those who are nervous about going to the dentist her dog softie is there to sit in your lap and comfort you. There is also Netflix shows and movies you can watch on the TV above the chair while you get work done on your teeth or while getting a cleaning. Basically it’s like getting your dental work done in your living room.

This was the most pleasant dentist visit I’ve ever had in my life! When I first arrived, I was greeted with two of the cutest dogs, softie & parker. I usually have some anxiety going to the dentist but being able to play with the dogs before and during my treatment really calmed me down. I got my teeth whitened by Dr. Shay who also specializes in facial aesthetics such as veneers, mouth reconstruction, smile correction and even botox/fillers! Overall, it was a painless and quick procedure. I usually dread going to the dentist but I’d be looking forward to my next visit at Linden Dental Care.

I was in very bad condition from all the pain in my jaw due to clenching/ grinding/ Tmj. Dr shay is a miracle worker. She was able to pinpoint exactly where my pain was, treated with Botox so that my muscle is relaxed and I clench less. We did a follow up in a week and she recommended I get just a little bit more Botox in my jaw which really made a difference. Dr. Shay is an expert and takes very calculated measures to make your smile better 🙂 Oh and she has the BEST therapy dogs that cuddle with you while being treated!! Check her out I highly recommend it.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but wow; Dr. Shay is as good as it gets! I was immediately greeted by their 2 emotional support dogs, Softie and Parker! I’m a huge dog lover so I was in heaven. When I got into the room, we had a brief consultation to discuss what I came in for (teeth whitening) and what my goals were. She kindly explained what to expect since I’ve never had my teeth professionally whitened before. I felt really comfortable and excited! Since whitening takes 10 minutes each round, they told me I could watch anything I wanted on a tv above me! I was given headphones and watched Friends. Softie snuggled me for a while and time flew by while I watched Friends. I did 3 rounds of whitening and have been SO pleased with my results! My teeth look incredible. Dr. Shay is fantastic. Simply put, she is the kindest, most compassionate dentist I have ever seen. I have had a few cavities filled by her without pain. YEAH, that’s right. No pain. And I’m one of those people who needs extra Novocaine for just cleanings. I’m pretty sensitive and metabolize quickly so every other dentist ‘thought they knew better’. With those other guys I’d I’d be jumping out of the chair the instant the drill touched the tooth. But Dr. Shay is like magic. I felt nothing. Not even the needle. AND Softie is wonderful. She’s right there sitting in my lap, the best therapy dog I’ve ever met. It’s so nice to have Softie there to pet and cuddle with while the procedure is going on. Right now, I’m doing the Invisalign clear braces with Dr. Shay and it’s working great. My teeth were pretty good before, but now everything will be put in its right place. I have never written a review on Yelp but after the amazing experience that I had with Dr. Mojdeh Shayestehfar (affectionately known as Dr. Shay) I felt compelled to share my experience. I had been thinking and researching having some fillers done. Every time I looked at myself in the mirror all I saw were the many lines around my mouth and the way my face was looking more like my someone way older than 63 and not the Sally I felt on the inside. I was hesitant as I wanted it to look natural so I had been doing research for some time. A friend recommended Dr. Shay to me and I couldn’t be more pleased. When I first entered the office I was very anxious. I had never had any work done on my face besides a little Botox on my forehead. I was greeted by Parker one of the two therapy dogs at the practice. There were candles burning and the moment I entered I felt an inner sense of calm. Dr Shay was so friendly and gentle and took her time. That night she personally called to see how I was doing. I could not be more pleased with the results. My biggest critics are my 2 daughters who say that I look like I did when I was 50. That’s a major compliment coming from them. Now when I smile I feel like the inside matches the outside.
