After a long search I found the lovely Khanideh and feel like my search is finally over. She is gentle yet confident and does really beautiful work. I  was crushed when I found out my regular dentists, Dr. Yamada and Dr. Lim retired.  They have been the family dentists for over 25 years and I  was leery of finding a new dentist.  Doctor Khanideh was highly recommended and I was encouraged by a few patients of Dr. Lim and Dr. Yamada to give her a try.  I was impressed with the professionalism, kindness and consideration that Dr. Khanideh expressed toward me and her impressive credentials.  My wisdom tooth became infected and Dr. Khanideh extracted the tooth painlessly.  I received a personal follow-up call from Dr.  Khanideh the next day inquiring as to my condition.  Wow!  I cannot recommend her enough and I fully expect Dr. Khanideh to be my dentist for the next 25 years

Dr. Khanideh and Dr. Pouyan are both excellent dentists. Their office staff is awesome, They are courteous, profesional, and friendly. All my appointments have been handled on time with no delay at all! The ambience in the office is warm and inviting. Dr. Khanideh also provided a complimentary consultation for my spouse with her spouse, Dr. Pouyan, who went out of his way to spend a good amount of time with an assessment and suggested plan of action. Very few dentists would do that! Dr. Khanideh also has an excellent professional staff to go along and that makes every visit so special. Dr. Yamada (my previous dentist who retired) had assured me that he is leaving the practice in good and safe hands and I am very much in agreement with that promise- I truly believe that Dr. Khanideh and Dr. Pouyan will keep a lot of people smiling and a whole of of oral cavities happy! I had to have extensive dental work done, which as a result of I became very aquainted with Dr. Shabnam Khanideh and her entire staff over about a 6 month period of regular visits. Many of them involved the kind of surgical dentistry that is stereotypical to why most people hate going to the dentist. Multiple root canals and the like. I cannot express enough how friendly and supportive the staff was throughout this process, which was at times both physically and even somewhat emotionally draining.  Having never had dental work of such a serious nature prior to this, i cannot say how the experience compares. However given the reputation that such procedures have, i was amazed how gentle she was. I was constantly asked how i was throughout procedures and efforts were made to provide make for a more comfortable process during the the most trying aspects of the treatment. I highly recommend Shabnam Khanideh, DMD & Mehra Pouyan, DDS. I cannot imagine a better outcome or experience given my circumstances. And ive received many compliments from people i know that the teeth which had to be capped look amazingly natural and inconspicuous.

I don’t often write reviews but I believe people who approach their profession with the highest level of commitment to excellence should be acknowledged. Dr. Khanideh and her entire staff fall into this category. I became Dr.Khanideh’s patient after my previous dentist of over 20 years retired a year ago. Dr. Khanideh has taken such good care of me and she is very, very thorough. In the past year Dr. Khanideh fitted me with a night guard and did some procedures that seemed to be long overdue. She is very patient and with all procedures spends a lot of time making sure everything is as close to perfect as possible. All of Dr. Khanideh’s staff, from the front office staff to the assistants and hygienists, are very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. I highly recommend Dr. Khanideh. Dr. Khanideh graduated with a degree of biology from UC Irvine. Her interest in healthcare and attention to detail drew her to dentistry. She chose Boston University School of Dentistry, which has the distinction of offering state-of-the-art technology and innovation. She shined during her clinical years with her excellent work and exceptional chair-side manner. After graduation, her interest in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry attracted her to continuing her education in a residency at the renowned Los Angeles Institute and the prestigious Spear Education Center. Dr. Khanideh has an unparalleled dedication to make patients feel at ease during dental visits. She achieves this by building a personal relationship with each patient and treating them as if they were her family. Her belief is that a healthy mouth, a healthy body and a healthy mind are all intertwined and make a person beautiful, inside and out. Dr. Khanideh and Dr. Pouyan have been married since 2010 and they have a little girl name Ava. They both enjoy outdoor activities with her.
