I’ve been going here for dental care for 2+ years, and the care and customer service are excellent. I appreciate how professional and helpful everyone is – from the desk staff to the hygienist to the Dr. Kim and Dr. Lee – they explain everything they do, care about your priorities and preferences, and do a great job of being transparent and practical about your costs and options. Their Covid-19 protocols are excellent, and they still remain warm and friendly to patients in a really challenging time. Can’t say enough good things – it’s a fantastic dental practice.

It was my first time to see a dentist in NY. I was a bit nervous as navigating a new medical care provider is not always a pleasant experience. However, the whole process at LK dentistry was very smooth, from booking to examination, to cleaning. Everyone I interacted with including Dr Kim was professional and attentive. So happy to have found LK Dentistry! I’m not the biggest fan of going to the dentist.. it’s probably my least favorite health care necessity and I’ve always struggled with finding a good dentist who is gentle yet thorough. I really dislike the sound of dental cleaning tools! First off, the office is amazingly CLEAN and smells so good! The scent makes it seem a little less medical/doctor/sterile and a little more inviting! They also have Kinfolk magazines, which are always a plus in my book. Their selection in music is also great. Dr. Kim does the cleaning herself, which I very much appreciate! At my initial visit, they did full x-rays of my teeth and mouth, and the cleaning only took about 20-30 mins. At my second 6 month follow up, she only did cleaning since I didn’t have problems at the last visit. I haven’t had issues with punctuality in my two visits and I left very happy! 5 stars for this office!

I had tried several over the years from Yelp reviews and friends’ recommendations and could not seem to replace the level of personal and professional care that I had with my dentist in Seattle. About two years ago I finally made a decision to research and try to find the right team. After reviewing many different sites and dentists I made the decision to give LK Advanced Dentistry a try. The moment I walked through the door I felt at home. There was not only a level of professionalism I had not experienced here in NY but also a very personal touch. Mayra and Dr Kim made me feel so relaxed, at ease and honestly provided the best care I have ever experienced (and I really loved my Seattle dentist.) Dr. Kim and her team do an outstanding job of making sure that every question is answered and that I understand every option for treatment and my benefits. She is also the first dentist in NYC where I did not feel like I was being sold, and finally I was dealing with a true professional. I am an extremely happy patient and only hope that she remains in business for the next 50 years.

LK advanced dentistry is my primary dental care provider. Located on the third floor of what looks like a residential apt building in the middle of columbus circle, the office is clean and bright. Dr Kim is the best – she makes you feel comfortable and explains every procedure she goes through with you so you’re aware or what to expect. Her cleaning is always thorough. I love the little goodie bags they give you when you leave, they are all travel size so I take them with me when i’m flying places. Anyhow, I would highly recommend!

Top notch! I am so happy that my friend referred me to LK advanced dentistry. It’s in a very convenient location. There was ZERO wait time. Dr. Kim was so sweet and thorough. Had a great first visit here today. The office is conveniently located right next to Columbus Circle. The space is immaculately clean and very modern, with brand new high-tech equipment. They even had a machine that did a full facial X-ray, which was a first for me. Rose (the hygienist) was very thorough and impressively knowledgeable. Dr. Kim was very nice and thoughtfully addressed all my questions. When I asked about whitening options, I was pleasantly surprised to get a very candid response about which option would be best for me, rather than a pitch for their top-of-the-line in-office option (which is what I was expecting given experiences with other dentists). Overall, it’s fantastic to have such a great dental option close by that also happens to be in-network for my insurance (Aetna PPO). I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the area.

I’ve rotated dentists quite a bit over the years, and Dr. Kim and Dr. Lee are by far my favorites. They’re kind, professional (and Asian!) The rest of the staff there are great as well, and the space is very well kept. I appreciate that the front desk always goes over the cost of procedures, and that the Drs. explain why they need to be done (and even what is being done as a procedure is happening). I heard about LK from a coworker and now my fiancee comes as well. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a dentist in midtown/hells kitchen!

I needed a new dentist in NYC who could take a look at some cavities. I found LK through my insurance’s website and was pleased by the number of good reviews. I booked a consultation and prepared for my visit. It was better than expected. Office was neat, staff was incredibly accommodating, and Dr. Kim and the technician were thorough and friendly. After I had x-rays done, Dr. Kim walked through the findings with me and did a cleaning, which was quick and painless. She made me feel at ease, and I know that when I go back in January to have my cavities filled I’ll be in good hands. Highly recommend.

Truly high levels of service, explained every action done, soft spoken gentle tone, gave extra post-braces cleaning above & beyond standard cleaning, discussed related gum health & over-brushing & many educational things to aide my dental health. Indeed the electronic not air-driven drills rotate perfectly smoothly making for a far far gentler nicer experience. I’m sure we’ve all had at least one painful or terrifying dental visit in our lives. My past dentist had me thinking that dentistry is both barbaric and savage. Moving on to LK: I can only speak for Dr. Lee- never met Dr. Kim- but I’ve been to LK Advanced Dentistry twice and now I know that the dentist can be fun, informative, personable, and most importantly PAIN-FREE! My first visit was before I was on my employer’s dental plan. Since my old dentist had a tendency to be rough during cleanings, and didn’t seem to care that I was a feeling person on the other end of those sharp instruments, I was on the hunt for a new one. I purchased a $49 Groupon for a cleaning and X-ray and was blessed with Dr. Lee. At the end of my visit I was clean and happy, incurred no additional or hidden fees, and for the first time in my life I saw no blood during my cleaning. I’d say we’re doing well thus far. It was the least painful, most carefree time I’ve ever had in a dentist’s chair. On top of that, the dental assistant/hygienist was extremely nice and so is the receptionist. Dr. Lee will inform you of every single thing he is doing while he’s working. He will also remind you to raise your left, should you feel any discomfort and he will stop and adjust. I’ve never, ever had this kind of experience with a butcher…I mean dentist. Did I mention he’s also pretty cute? 🙂 But seriously, he will tell you what’s going on with your teeth and how to treat them better. He’s now my regular dentist and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Say goodbye to anything bad about your horrific past with tooth doctors, and make an appointment with Dr. Lee. He’s thorough, has a laid back personality and will answer any and all questions you have. 5 stars for the nice lounge area, spacious bathroom, attentive staff and all-star dentist. See you soon! Bonus: the canvas hygiene bag they give here is cuter and more stylish than any other I’ve seen.

Since moving to NYC about 2 yrs ago this was the first time I needed a dentist (is that bad??). I came across the office website through my research and decided to take the risk of trying a new dentist since the receptionist who answered my call was super friendly (I have had my fair share of rude medical office staffers, what is with these people.) First off, whoever was the interior designer of this place. Bravo. And might I add the exam chairs… some of the softest leather I have sat upon. I met w Dr. Lee. I went in for a cleaning and had an old filling replaced. No complaints. He was fast and efficient. During the visit I mentioned that one tooth had been giving me some pain and after determining it wasn’t a cavity he explained it was possibly due to the fact I grind my teeth and suggested I get fitted for a mouth guard to wear while I sleep. I didn’t have time for it then but they were able to schedule me for that Sat. When I came in for my mouth guard fitting I met the other half of LK. Dr. Kim. She was super sweet. Didn’t take much time. I was pretty much in and out and had my mouth guard that same day. And I can happily report my tooth doesn’t give me trouble anymore.

I went to LK dentistry with a Groupon for a dental exam,x-ray and cleaning. I really liked it. The ambiance is nice and very clean, the doctor was extremely nice and professional and did a great job. He gave me some advice on how to take care of my teeth and sensitive gums and most of all he didn’t try to sell me stuff or make me come back for unnecessary treatments or found imaginary problems like most of the other dentists included in the Groupon deal apparently do. I really hope my future dental insurance will include LK Advanced Dentistry!!
