So happy with my experience here. It took me a year to actually find a dental office that met my high expectations. My appointment time was honored, staff loved answering questions, environment is clean and sterile. It’s not like the other dental groups that can have you waiting in their office for hours. This place is the opposite. I really appreciate how thorough the receptionists, Dental Assistants and Dr. Nguyen was. I will definitely be coming back.

Went to Long Beach Smiles today for my first visit. It’s right off Stearns & Bellflower. Impeccably clean facility and the latest and greatest tools/etc. TV’s in each cleaning room with DirecTV. Listened to Classic SNL while getting my teeth cleaned! Dr. Victoria Nguyen and her staff are fantastic. Had a new patient special going on for $59.00. It’s easily a $200 + value. No brainer to take advantage of this opportunity. Highly recommend them after just one thorough visit.

Well let me tell you a little something about LB Smiles Dentristry.  THEY ROCK!  Had my first appointment with them a couple months back (sorry for the late review) and everything went pretty smooth.  Apologies for not remembering the names, but the two ladies at the reception area were very professional and gave off that welcoming vibe you want to feel at any health field related clinic.   I instantly took notice of how technologically advanced the office was with their use of ipads, xrays, and their displays.  It lets you know they are sparing no expensive which is comforting.  It also broke the mundane ritual of having to fill out all of that paperwork on clipboards. One part that I REALLY appreciated was that there was no “hard sell” involved.  After they examine your ivories, they whip together a sheet that details what everything is going to cost, what covered by insurance, then they ask if you want to proceed.   Overall, a very pleasent experience and I’m extremely stoked that I finally found a dentist that seems to care about the patients more-so than taking your cash.  And the cherry on top is that Dr. Nguyen is pretty darn cute so thats definately a bonus.  BTW I’m referring to the female Nguyen – although the male Nguyen is rather striking as well (No, I don’t roll that way but I felt guilty in leaving him hanging).

From scheduling my appointment online to the finishing touch on my teeth were terrific. The staff, and Dr. Victoria Nguyen were nice, knowledgeable and professional. The office is also nice and clean which is a plus. I’m always scared of dentists and their sharp tools, however, Dr. Nguyen and the dental hygienist both have a gentle touch, from the teeth cleaning to the local anesthetic injection were not painful at all. Will definitely come back soon for my extraction and implants. Thanks Long Beach Smiles!!!

Dr Victoria Nguyen is such a lovely person + dentist!! What a package of brains and beauty she is the ultimate dentist. The front desk staff are always professional and so accomodating. I’ve had to re-schedule appointments LAST minute with my busy changeable days, but they’ve never made me feel bad and have always appreciated us as customers. Modern interior inside, always clean, TV and music to distract you. Kid friendly with toys and PS4 etc She’s super laid back and keeps things at ease. I wasn’t even aware that she owned the place because she’s such a nice lady! not pushy at all and only wants the best results for you. we all worry about going to dentists but I am naturally a terrible ball of anxiety, so I’m an even more difficult client. thankfully the staff are amazing – the assistant lady with tattoos and glasses (i forget her name) is super cool and super grateful to Jaime who does an excellent quick job at xrays and is super versatile he even helped put my crown in and his hands are as light as feathers!! All in all, the dentists here are the very best but unfortunately not all the assistants are as great as the more experienced ones like Jaime. If you’re lucky enough to get Dr Victoria you’re going to recieve amazing results so I say give it a try considering they’re also much more affordable then other mom n pop shops. BTW, enroll into their smiles dental plan… your bill becomes 50% off! It’s a $100 something for the year and $20 something additional per fam member.

I’ve been holding off writing a review of Long Beach Smiles because it takes awhile to tell if a dentist’s office is just good on surface-level things (friendly, sensitive, fairly priced, etc.) or is actually also good at taking care of teeth. I’ve been to a lot of dentists due to my high-maintenance-ness (extra-touchy gag reflex, sensitive teeth, teeth that seem to just suck and get cavities all over the place no matter how much I brush/floss). There are dentists that seem to know what they’re doing, but then all their work falls apart after a year. There are dentists that try to do everything themselves when really they should be referring you to an endodontist or oral surgeon. There are dentists who try to upsell you constantly when all you want is for your teeth to not hurt and to chew food. Fortunately, after almost two years going to Long Beach Smiles and having had two root canals with crowns, three cleanings, and countless X-rays done, I can pretty confidently say that this office is all-around topnotch. That did include two root canals, unfortunately. For that I saw Dr. Nguyen, their endodontist. He was wonderful, too. And extraordinarily fast! I doubt either one took more than 20 minutes. Not only was he fast, he clearly didn’t miss any roots or mess up in any way, because they’re still solid a year later. I chose to do the CEREC route for crowns because you get the canal and the crown done the same day – no follow-up or temporaries. It’s more expensive, but worth it, I think. When I experienced some pain a few weeks later, I went back in and they touched up the bite, which solved the issue.They’re not perfect – their time management is usually pretty bad and a simple appointment may take a couple hours with the majority of the time just being you sitting in a chair waiting for people. Also, I’ve had mixed experiences with the people who do the X-rays. With the ones for my root canal, the guy was downright rude and just shoved the thing into my mouth while I was imploring him to go slowly. However, at my most recent appointment, the woman I had was an X-ray wizard. She placed the bites very carefully and veritably glided to the button to make sure she was pressing it as quickly as possible. She was the first technician who has placed them in such a way that I don’t have to hold them in with my hand. The bottom line is that at this time two years ago, I had trouble eating hot soup, corn nuts, anything taffy-like, chips, or cold smoothies. Today, I never even think about whether I will have pain while I’m eating. Eating is my lifeblood, as you can tell from my reviews, and so that is an enormous gift and one I’m grateful to Dr. Abdalla and the whole staff for giving to me.

Great place to get your dental do right done .! 🙂 Dentist is sweet gentle,and caring.They will do my bridge work soon ! Office is clean and modern .I was taken care of with respect .My teeth are recovering from neglect and no insurance.It is good they were patient and kind and state of the art in equipment….. Make your appointment now do it before its too late ! You only have on set of adult teeth put them in caplele trustworthy handa of this dental team. Call them call them now ! 🙂

I was referred to this office from my regular dentist’s office when it was determined I needed an emergency root canal and the endodontist wasn’t in that office on Fridays.  I was scared, stressed out and in pain when I arrived.  Everyone made me feel more comfortable when I walked in.  The front desk clerk was so nice, she knew who I was and that they were expecting me.  I had to wait a little bit, but that’s to be expected for an add on patient and the front desk staff was very caring and accommodating when I asked for some ibuprofen for pain while I waited.  The X-ray tech was amazing!   So compassionate of my fear and pain. I’m sorry I don’t remember names, i was so stressed out I forgot to ask.  Dr. Nguyen, the endodontist was wonderful.  He could tell I was scared and he explained everything in terms I could understand.  The procedure was performed with minimal pain.  I ended up with two root canals.  The cost was comparable to other offices I had been to(less by a couple hundred dollars actually).  I had let them know up front that I was low on cash right now and they offered to let me make payments.  I’ve been working on improving my credit so I had a feeling i wouldn’t be approved for financing but they put me on a no interest payment plan that I could afford.  I’m so grateful for that.  They are quite a ways from my house so I don’t know if I will be back there but I have a lot of friends that live closer to that area and I will definitely recommend them.

I cannot say enough about this place!!  I found myself in an emergency situation on a Friday afternoon, just minutes before having out of town company arrive.  They got me in, calmed me down and took care of everything quickly and professionally!  Everyone was so understanding and incredibly friendly, from start to finish.  I left with hugs and a huge smile!  When do you go to a dentist and say you kind of look forward to going back?! lol  A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Long Beach Smiles Dentistry!

I don’t think the dentist is anyone’s favorite place to go to, not mines either. Howeve, Long Beach Smiles Dentistry has changed my thoughts about the dentist. I’m no longer terrified!!! My experience was nothing but pleasant from the time I walked in, until the time I walked out. The work that I needed done scared me alone, but to my surprise, I walked out smiling (on one side) so glad I had a wonderful friend who told me about this place. Now it’s my turn to share!!!
