I came in with no insurance, looking to get my teeth cleaned for my upcoming wedding. From the receptionist, to the assistants, to the Dr.’s, OMG they were amazing! I had a lot to work on when it came to my teeth but instead of them scolding me for it, they offered help and actually seemed to care, unlike my dentists prior. They were ALL amazing and helped work with me on payments and they offered advice on how to better clean my teeth and to keep them clean and the whole experience was great! Which is saying a lot when I’ve NEVER been a fan of the dentists office. I recommend EVERYONE to come. You won’t find better care.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and have been very happy with each and every visit. Dr. Brian is very personable and makes me feel comfortable. The staff is very helpful as well, it’s very easy to call or e-mail them to set up appointments and they follow up a few days before to confirm which is great in case for a reminder. They are open until 7 which is great for busy schedules and also are open some Saturdays as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone for all of their dental needs!

I haven’t ever had the best experiences when it comes to being at the dentist. I’ve always ignored the pain in my mouth in order to not see the dentist. I never had an option of what dentist to go to because I was a dependent on my parents’ insurance. When I was offered benefits through my own job I jumped on it. I knew I didn’t want to go to just anyone. So I asked my manager who has the same insurance and who is very picky on customer service and he referred me to Loz Feliz Dental! Though they are a bit of a drive from me, I love them! They have found a way to make me feel comfortable and make me look forward them to seeing them. They make feel like a part of their family and not dollar signs because of my insurance. They are honestly the best and I am so blessed to have came in contact with them. They did a great remodel on the office so it’s a very pleasing place. The staff is the same and is as fantastic as they always have been. My husband is so scared of the dentist but Dr. Bita and her staff were amazing! They were so kind and knowledgable. My husband was having horrible pain in one of his teeth. I called over and was able to have an appointment for the same day. Dr. Brian took the time before the staff arrived from lunch to put my husband and I at ease. I’ve had problems trusting dentists in the past (I think it’s harder to find a good dentist than mechanic, personally), but all of the wonderful women here have always made me feel comfortable and like they’re being honest and straightforward with me. It’s also the first dentist to get me to start flossing. All the dentists in the past have tried, but now I actually do it, and I love it. I never liked going to the dentist until I started visiting Los Feliz Dental Center. Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly, and I always feel like I’m in great hands. I just did Invisalign with Dr. Brian, and I am so happy with how my teeth look. Dr. Brian took his time explaining the treatment to me and answered all my questions and concerns. The whole process ended up being way less of a hassle than I initially though it would be, and I’ve also started flossing every day for the first time in my life. My cleaning and check-up was long overdue so after a bit of research, I found Los Feliz Dental and their promotion for first-time patients. At the time, I had coffee and cigarette stains beginning to infiltrate my teeth, at least six or seven of them. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist as well as the entire staff were incredibly friendly. It was a very positive and welcoming ambiance. The dentist Bita and her associate Azi were very helpful, kind and informative. As they performed the procedure, they educated me on the process so it was clear to me what I needed and did not need. From a business point of view, I think it’s very smart to take the light approach and share information with your client because it helped me to understand the value of strong, healthy teeth. Also, it helps in allowing me to make a conscious and wise decision for future treatments. The entire cleaning, exam and x-rays were very straight to the point and pain-free. I am happy to share that my teeth are sooo much cleaner than they were, and over 90% of the stains I had are gone. Well worth the hundred something dollars I paid for the service. Dr. Brian Shahangian received his high school diploma in Paris, France. After attending the medical university of Salpetriere Paris VI, he has earned his doctorate in dental surgery from University Rene Descarts Paris V. He has obtained his California License in 1996 and since then he has accomplished extensive post graduate training in esthetic, implant and restorative dentistry such as Advanced Esthetic Dentistry Continum from UCLA, Advanced Implant Therapy from UCLA, Mini Residency in Placement and Restoration of Implant from Noble Biocare Implant Institute, Preferred Provider for Invisalign, Invisalign Certificate II (Advanced) and Certificate I. Dr. Brian Shahangian is currently a faculty member and teacher at UCLA, Restorative Department. He is practicing part time in his private practice. He is a standing member of Academy of General Dentistry.
