I’m so happy my husband nudged me to go to try Dr. Sayena Mashkouri. I had been going to a previous dentist for years and felt that I was getting good care until I had a dental emergency and decided to try Dr. Mashkouri. It was the best change. I had no idea that my dental care could get better with a state of the art facility, excellent results, calming care, professional staff and most important an extremely competent dentist. Dr.Maskouri is a gem.

Fantastic place to go! Changing dentists is a challenge for everyone and finding someone who has the skill and approach to make the experience a great one is hard to find. Lotus Family Dental delivers beautifully on all. I had to go for some dental work and it had been a very long time for me for anything but basic cleaning. It was about an hour for the procedure and like most — I was very nervous. From the moment of entering the office the dentist (Dr. Mashkouri) and her staff were very comforting and assuring that it would be painless. They were right. Throughout the hour of the procedure I was at ease and it felt like a very short period of time. My new smile is fantastic and I have received many compliments. If your not satisfied with your current dentist or just moved to Westwood – definitely recommend you going here and see for yourself. Thank you once again Team Lotus!

Lotus Family Dental provides friendly customer care in a modern, clean facility. The dental staff make you feel welcome and do everything they can to help you feel comfortable during your visit. Everything is brand new and top of the line. Every chair comes with a massage unit and a flat screen TV. Dr. Mashkouri and her staff are extremely kind and it is obvious that your oral health is their number one priority. She does great work and educated you about your dental hygiene providing tips and reminders. She also has great interpersonal communication skills and it’s clear that she wants to build long-lasting relationships with her patients. She remembered our conversation from six months ago and caught up with me during a recent visit. It was refreshing to work with a dentist who wants what’s best for you and truly cares about your health and nothing more .

Dr. Mashkouri, Veronica, and the receptionist (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) are wonderful! Pretty simple statement, but meant with total sincerity. I’ve never had a pleasurable dental experience in the past and it changed when I managed to find them. Everyone at the office is incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate. Dr. Mashkouri has gone through great lengths to make sure staff, and patients, are well protected during this COVID-19 pandemic which shows great character. Prices were great (as good as you can expect with insurance) and very accommodating with appointments and scheduling. They have good choice in music too 🙂 While this doesn’t pertain to my experience it does seem that Dr. Mashkouri is passionate about her career and appears to be a wonderful teacher/mentor as I watched her give tips and tricks she learned over the years to Veronica. Endearing to see someone passionate about their career and willing/wanting to share it with others, I look forward to Dr. Mashkouri being my dentist for the foreseeable future.

After seeing another Dentist for years, I decided to get a second opinion and give another one a shot. I found Lotus Family Dental here on Yelp and decided to make an appointment. I am so glad I did! Dr. Sayena and her staff have been wonderful! They are very friendly, communicative, and cost conscious. I have had cleanings, fillings, and even crowns put in. No negative experiences at all, everything has been great! I can’t really imagine having a bad experience here. Dr. Sayena is definitely my favorite Dentist thus far! If you don’t like dentists– you’ll like this one. Dr. Mashkouri is a very warm, kind person. She is both professional and approachable. I like how incredibly patient and open she is to answering questions and concerns. I trust her skills but also her character and judgment It’s rare to find an entire team you like, but theirs works. Her assistant Ty is every bit as professional and meticulous, but also a joy to be around. I love her energy. And her front-desk receptionist is quieter, but sweet and prompt. Basically, you have a lot of different personalities in the office, but they’ll all leave you walking out with a smile. Other pros: 1. Parking is easy and free: you can park at Sprouts down the street 2. FYI for UCLA students: They accept Delta Dental. I originally chose this place for convenience (I live in the area and Sprouts is my nearest grocery store), but I’m glad my teeth have a good dental home for at least the next few years.

Dr. Mashkouri is fantastic. I started visiting Lotus Family Dental after a co-worker recommended it to me and fell in love. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very resourceful. Dr. Mashkouri is a life saver! I had a dental emergency and I was lucky enough to be referred to her. I was blown away by the service I received. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Dentists can be pushy and impatient. I didn’t experience either with her. She was so gentle and sensitive when working on my teeth. I was seen right away, didn’t have to wait at all. She worked on me and only me. And her hygienist was great as well. She was a perfectionist and made sure to do her job perfectly. What I was most blown away by was her office. I’ve never seen such a beautiful office. Everything from the floors to the chairs were modern, clean and gorgeous! The examination chairs are massage chairs. You can’t ask for more from a dental office! I was truly impressed by this office from the staff to the dentist to the gorgeous office.

Dr. Mashkouri is the best dentist I have ever visited, and her entire team is clearly dedicated to patient comfort. Hilda is a great dental assistant, and while doing my x-rays went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable. I had to have multiple cavity fillings and the team was super accommodating of my schedule changes and were very particular to make sure the procedure was as painless as possible. Overall, always a super pleasant team. The office is extremely clean, and there’s convenient parking at the Sprouts underground lot.

What an outstanding dentist Dr. Sayena is! For the past 15 years I went to one dentist but unfortunately he retired and he sent me to another dentist which I ended up very unhappy with. After trying 3 different dentists after that for the past 5 years I came across Dr. Sayena. She is a very honest and generous doctor. She does not try to over-service you to make money off you. Her office is so clean and newly remodeled. Her dental equipment is high-tech and up to date. She uses tools and machines i have never seen before. Her staff and hygienist, Lucy, are very professional and polite. As soon as I walked in I felt very comfortable. Dr. Sayena is a very humble dentist and her knowledge and services are outstanding! I highly recommend her and I will see her again on Tuesday for my follow up appointment

I needed a lot of work done on my teeth simply because I hadn’t gone to the dentist in over a year. I was hesitant to go to the dentist because the last dr. I went to was not very good – he was very aggressive on my teeth which made me feel very uncomfortable. I am so glad I found Dr. Mashkouri! She is excellent. She is so kind and nurturing. She’s very gentle on your teeth and tells you exactly what she’s doing when she’s working. The dental technician, Ty, is also very good. She’s super friendly and makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. The atmosphere is very pleasant. There’s calming music playing in the background and the rooms are light and homey. The entire staff is also very accommodating and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this dentist for anyone living in the Westwood, Los Angeles area!

I always dread going to the dentist because I feel like they are always trying to persuade you to pay for a service that isn’t necessary. I had the complete opposite experience when I went to see Dr. Mashkouri and her staff. They are extremely nice and made my time there extremely relaxing. She is genuinely concerned with her patients and take the time to ask how you are feeling to make sure you are comfortable. The chairs also have a massage function so it was hands down the best experience I’ve had at the dentist. There’s no way I will ever go any place else.

I know you are here to see if she is worth going to. I am telling you, she is 100% worth it. Besides being a great dentist, she cares about her patients in every aspect. She makes sure you are comfortable, she answers all your questions, explains the details of your procedure, and unlike some dentists I’ve been to, (not saying all, but some) she doesn’t recommend you unnecessary procedure. She doesn’t rush, I think she is kind of perfectionist, so she spends good amount of time working on your tooth. She could have easily rush and finish everything needed to be done in one appointment, get paid for it and not spend another day for me, but instead she took her time and decided to do my other procedure another day. Also during the procedure she always asks you if you are ok or if you need a break. She has a great personality and makes you feel very comfortable. P.S I rarely write any reviews, and when I do is usually to complain to be honest, but I think everyone deserve a great dentist so I am doing everyone a favor, letting them know Dr Mashkouri is the one.

You are in great hands coming here! I really like Dr. Mashkouri and the dental assistant Jenny. They both make the dental experience positive (and this is coming from someone who really doesn’t like going to the dentist! 😉 Dr. mashkouri is very skilled, quick, yet pays attention to detail. She walks you through what to expect and what is coming as she works, she is very patient, and is always checking on how you are doing and if you need a quick break. Also she is just a very friendly and genuinely warm person. Jenny is also great- super nice and patient (“don’t forget to breathe through our nose”…haha I am such a little kid when it comes to dentist visits 🙂 Cleanings are completely covered by Delta Dental. Overall I am so glad to have found a great dentist that I feel very comfortable going to, and look forward to sticking with Dr. mashkouri for as long as I am in the area! Highly recommended!!

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Sayena Mashkouri, she is by far the best dentist I have ever seen. Not only did she make me feel right at home and comfortable but she was genuinely concerned about my dental health and was super educational on next steps. Let me start of by saying that this office is very awesome the service was outstanding, Dr.Mashkouri is a great dentist!!! They have great prices incomparable to other offices where they try to over charge you’re insurance and you, As I walk in I was greeted by Miss Lucy she was nice and polite made me feel comfortable. The office caught my eye it was very modern from the inside and very high-tech, They have from massaging chairs to TV’s in each of there work station witch I loved never had an experiance like that in a dental office. Also they played great music while I waited, I walked in for a chipped tooth very noticeable was afraid of smilling miss Lucy and Dr. Sayana got to work on it when they were done I got up and walk towards a mirror to look at my teeth …well let me just say they had me smiling again.
