Dr. Lubberts really is the best orthodontist in town!! When I was a teenager, my parents chose Dr.Lubberts. He was highly recommended in the area by other friends. Over 15 years later, my teeth still look amazing!!! They are straight and perfect. I had braces, head gear, and retainers. About a year ago, I went back to visit and bought some bleaching trays. Dr. Lubberts is a very honest person. I am so lucky to have had such a great experience. The staff is so wonderful too!!! Also, I remember I was having a problem with my braces and Dr. Lubberts had me go to his office on the weekend to help!!! WOW!!!! Talk about a doctor who cares!!

My son just recently had his braces removed and I am very pleased with the results. Dr Lubberts and his staff are awesome! It did take longer than I thought it would but my son did not always put in his rubber bands so it was his fault. Also they did not take out the braces until it was as perfect as it could be and they did not charge me extra either for all the visits. So that is why I gave them 5 stars!

Dr Lubberts is an awesome orthodontist! He’s an artist at his craft making sure that once the braces come off there is nothing but perfectly aligned teeth for a perfect smile! My son just recently removed his braces and we absolutely love the results! My daughter is about a month or two to get her braces off and I’m 100% confident she’ll be very happy with the end result. Dr. Lubberts is an expert on what he does. Very patient man especially in my case, as I was an Invisalign user and it wasn’t as consistent as I should have been. But he got the job done, my teeth look great… Better yet I can actually use floss without breaking it off! The office staff and assistants are upbeat, pros and are the best at what they do. Dr. Lubberts and his team are the best in my book.

He works closely with my primary Dentist , Dr. Sagat, to achieve the correct bite and position of my teeth so I will have the best results with my ultimate goal of porcelain. During my initial consultation with Dr. Lubberts, last week, he left a wonderful first impression on me by being extremely detail, kind and showing great bedside manners. His fees are very reasonable, and his staff are very kind and compassionate. All in all his practice deserve and 5 star on Yelp and a 10/10 in general. I cant wait to start my invisalign treatment soon, and allow him to use his magic to get my teeth back in place.

Absolutely fantastic office, especially during this COVID time. An already professional staff & doctor has even stepped it up a notch by going above & beyond to adhere to the strictest of safety regulations. They take temps, my girls are wearing masks, they do pre-screenings, & maintain ample social distancing. The office is sterilized in addition to stations of hand sanitation’s for my girls to use or even myself upon entering. During this unprecedented time, any fearful patients need not worry about coming to this office. I have soon to be two daughters both in braces & they have done nothing but practically hand hold us every step of the way. And they speak to my daughters directly not just me as the parent. This was nothing compared to my own experiences with my orthodontist during my teen years. They really set the bar. My shy 12 year old said, “I feel really comfortable there & like everyone. Braces are so expensive, & you have to be at an office you enjoy since you’ll be there for many visits. I’m glad we get to be here!

Dr. Lubberts is a professional, and caring Doctor who cares as much for his patients personal lives as the condition of their teeth! My son Chad began treatment with Dr. Lubberts 5 years ago. Chad had more issues with his bite that I could count on one hand. We began with an expander, then braces, head gear, lots of rubber bands and appointments every 4-5 weeks. Today he finally got his braces off and he has the most perfect, beautiful smile I could ever wish for him! We have had 5 years of the best service from everyone in the office! Donna, the office manager has always been great about getting us in if we had any issues like a loose bracket. I write this review because they really are an exceptional place with wonderful people that really care! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing!

Dr. Lubberts was recommended to me by my dentist Dr. Somerville (who I also love) and I couldn’t be happier. He’s a very sweet man and an excellent ortho. He’s extremely picky and detailed, which is exactly how any ortho should be. He spends plenty of time with me during appointments and I never feel rushed. I also love how excited he gets when he sees progress with my teeth! I came to Dr. Lubberts just a few months before my wedding and wanted Invisalign to fix an extremely crooked tooth. Dr. Lubberts was able to work miracles by speeding up the straightening process and giving me straight (enough) teeth for my big day. He also went above and beyond by taking off my aligners so they wouldn’t show that day and putting them back on after the wedding. I’m so happy I went to Dr. Lubberts and whole heartedly recommend him!

My daughter just finished being with Dr Lubberts for over 5 1/2 years. Her 12mm over bite meant getting braces in 3rd grade, her slow growth meant that phase 1 merged into phase 2. With appointments every 4-8 weeks for 5 1/2 years, EVERY SINGLE TIME we were seen by Dr Lubberts. All of the staff are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Over the years I’ve recommended Dr Lubberts to tons of friends and everyone loves him and the practice. My daughter’s teeth look fantastic and I have a little break before it’s my son’s turn. Welcome! Dr. Lubberts and his staff are here to help make your smile the best it can be. Located in Westlake Village, CA, Dr. Lubberts is an Orthodontic Specialist with over 30 years experience in straightening teeth in his local community. Feel free to give us a call - we look forward to seeing you! Originally from Michigan, Dr. Lubberts completed his undergraduate degree at Hope College. He graduated with honors from one of the top dental schools in the country, the University of Michigan. There he was awarded in Pediatric Dentistry and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Following dental school, Dr. Lubberts volunteered at Kwangju Christian Hospital’s dental residency serving and instructing in the program. He then became a certified specialist in orthodontics at UCLA. Concurrently he earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Lubberts’ research was in the use of implants to produce orthopedic and dental change. Dr. Lubberts loves his profession. He was a clinical instructor and lecturer at the UCLA graduate orthodontic program for twenty five years. He received the Clinical Instructor of the Year award on multiple occasions. Dr. Lubberts is a member of several professional organizations including: American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and the Edward H. Angle Society of Southern California. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Lubberts is committed to his family and faith. He has been married to his wife, Sue, for 33 years. They enjoy sports and games of all kinds, physical conditioning and travel. Active in their church, they presently participate in feeding “families in need.” They have two sons, Jeff and David. Both sons went through the Conejo school system: Westlake Elementary, Colina and Westlake High School.
