I received an appointment right away for a consultation for a root canal. Dr. Umanoff was polite, friendly & professional. As well as the rest of the staff. The office is beautiful and modern and close to home. They also accommodated my husband as a new patient right away when he was in pain. He was promptly treated and is currently healing from his procedure. As for me, I got my root canal completed in two visits and it was completely painless (didn’t even feel the needle!) and comfortable. I’ve been to many dentists throughout my years and I cannot begin to explain how amazing this office is. From the receptionists, to the assistants, to the technicians, to the finance dept. to the Doctor himself. From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted by name even though I never stepped foot in that office before. When I called to make an appointment I was in so much pain that they gave me an appointment for the same day. The receptionist knew how much pain I was in and called me back to ask me if I wanted to come in earlier than the time of the appointment. She was so compassionate and friendly, as was everyone one else from the moment I got there. They were all helpful and courteous and put me right at ease as if they knew me for years. The Doctor addressed what my problem was and what all my options were to fix it and spent enough time with me until I understood all those options. I would recommend this office of highly trained professionals 1,000 percent to anyone who is hesitant or afraid to go to the dentist. I will stick with them for all the years I need a dentist.

I love the fact that I was able to go and see the doctor anytime that I felt my trays needed to be adjusted or even if I had questions about the process. They accept credit card and they also offer care credit, which can be very useful if you have a procedure that is costly. I have crappy teeth and loads of experience with dentists both in NYC and abroad. Dr Umanoff is easily the best of everyone I’ve ever gone to. He does come with a price tag and only some insurances will cover a certain percentage of the cost but to me it’s well worth it. Tooth pain is probably on par with the most infamous pains – pain in the neck and the nether regions – when you have it, you can think of nothing else. So spending some $$ here to ensure I can chew for a few more years without worry is “priceless.” Firstly, ALL of Dr Umanoff’s staff is extremely courteous and warm. Now, for me personally, skill always takes precedence over bedside manner, but in this case you are offered both. Fantastically attentive care and great quality. You are seen on time and things get taken care of promptly. Additionally, every step is explained to your satisfaction. Your initial consultation, including x-rays, is free (imagine!!) and they even give you a cute little gift consisting of – well, let it be a surprise. I would HIGHly recommend finding a way to see Dr Umanoff, I don’t care if you have to borrow, beg and steal. He’s worth it and so is your mouth.
