My first appointment with this dentist practice was yesterday.  I appreciate the attention and care I received.  From the time I entered and spoke to the receptionist, during the procedure with the technician, Crystal and Dr. Kevin Morich and, finally, at checkout, I felt the staff was very professional and truly interested in my care.  I am glad I found such a capable practice within walking distance to my residence.

I’ve been going here for a long time since when they first opened. Dr. Maric is a very talented and knowledgable dentist, and is very gentle with his patients. I often fall asleep during the procedures because I’m relaxed. I wholeheartedly recommend them. I have sent my family members here as well.

Having moved to Portland 2 years ago, we were apprehensive about finding a great dental care office. However, we shouldn’t have been so concerned, as we found Macadam Dental right in our own neighborhood of South Waterfront. From when one enters the office till one departs, it is ALWAYS a wonderful experience: for someone who grew up AFRAID of the dentist, as my first one didn’t believe in giving local anesthetics to youngsters, this reduces my anxiety and concern immensely. They have a modern, technologically advanced office, which can craft crowns while you wait – no more wearing copper temporaries. Procedures are explained in advance and one’s comfort is always of utmost concern to not just Kevin, who I see, but his assistants, too. I have the utmost confidence in my care here and TBH, doctors rarely will make such an enthusiastic a recommendation.

I went through a period where I was really scared to go to dentists. So I didn’t, and you can guess how that ended up. My family doctor recommended Macadam Dental, so I tried it out. They took my fear away completely with gentle, efficient professionalism, and for years now I have been a regular patient. The team there saved my teeth and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Every aspect of Macadam Dental is off the charts fantastic!  My whole family sees them and every visit has been truly great.  Dr. Kevin is the perfect balance of professional and caring.  He eased all my fears and answered all my questions before beginning my procedures.  Dr.  is incredible with our 5 and 9 year old.  Despite having several fillings done, my 5 year old still begs to “go see Dr.”!  The entire staff does everything possible to make each of us feel comfortable, at ease, and well cared for.  Most of all, I appreciate their honesty.  They have never tried to sell me unnecessary services; rather they carefully explain all options and help me come to an informed decision that best suits my health and budget.  I could not more highly recommend Dr. Kevin and Dr. Jodi at Macadam Dental!

I can not say enough great things about the team at Macadam Dental. My first consultation, I met Kevin (co-owner, with his wife Jodi). Awesome guy, very knowledgeable. My second visit for my cleaning, Debi took care of me. Again, very knowledgeable answering my questions, and a pleasant person to work with. Kevin and Jodi obviously run a great business. I was impressed by the text message & e-mail appointment confirmation. I was more impressed with the follow up e-mail survey they send after your first appointment (they want feedback, they want to know how to improve their customer experience). So glad I found this office. Don’t think twice about setting your next appointment with this group of exceptional people. Call them and schedule RIGHT NOW! I’ve been seeing Dentists, Kevin , for about 4+ years now.  Their practice is very good and they do a terrific job of listening to my concerns and addressing them. I particularly like is that I am able to make decisions about my treatment and they respect them, informing me of any concerns I should be aware of.  For instance, I prefer gold fillings over composite or amalgams for longevity reasons.  I also don’t elect to get X-rays on the conventional schedule but extend that period.  Again no problem. They don’t try to upsell me on cosmetic dentistry like whitening programs or other things I don’t need and don’t want. Their work has been very competently executed as well–as opposed to other dental experiences, I’ve found that my fillings have been fit precisely and I haven’t had to return to have them adjusted to better suit my bite (e.g. ground / trimmed etc.) When I have a problem arise, I’m able to get scheduled quickly as well.  Overall, I’ve been very happy with their practice and would recommend it to people who are interested in receiving the highest quality care.

I opened the door to Macadam’s dental office this morning in a slight state of panic. My tooth had split in half and I was completely unable to eat or drink. I was not an established patient but they had me in a chair almost as soon as I was done filling out paperwork. 30 minutes (maybe even less!) later, I was comfortably drinking a cup of coffee with a newly placed temporary. While placing the temporary the doctor was extremely cautious of my sensitive broken tooth, there was absolutely no unnecessary poking or prodding. He carefully described the potential solutions and offered me a cost and benefit analysis for each option. I was incredibly impressed with the speed, comfort and communication that was offered to me during my emergency visit. I will be returning tomorrow for a crown and am feeling completely confident in my decision.

WOW impressive!!  I just broke the back of my tooth on a bone at a restaurant. Not only did Dr Morich get me in the same day.  With traffic I was a little late and they stayed to make sure I was taken care of.  His team is amazing, kind, fun, engaging and fixed my tooth quickly.  I walked out with a smile and hope more businesses follow his lead.   My family all goes to this dentist and I am proud that we have the pleasure of being his patients.  I recommend them at the highest level!

Macadam Dental is always an exceptional experience. The friendly and helpful staff always makes you feel comfortable. Drs. Kevin and  Morich are attentive and patient in answering any questions. Macadam Dental has a beautiful modern office and tastefully decorated. So much so that you forget you are at the dentist! I highly recommend them!

Really friendly staff and modern office.  I got the feeling it was a business that took great care to make the experience comfortable for patients.  Took my nine year old daughter there for a routine check and she was happy with her visit.  The dentist came out and was really easy to talk to.  He had nothing to say except my daughter’s teeth looked good, even reassuring me that her crooked teeth may straighten out themselves.   There is plenty of parking but do be aware that visitor parking is designated at the outer perimeters of the lot and they do ticket if you don’t park there.  I made that mistake but the office helped me fix the issue.  Icing on the cake!

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kevin and Jodi. My whole family sees them for our dental needs. Dr. and her staff are so great with my 2 and 5 year old. They have a great kid’s room with hamsters they can feed and they always walk away with a special prize they get to chose from a treasure box. Dr. Kevin and Jodi are both very kind and knowledgeable. I started going to see them when I lived in SW Portland and have since moved to the Stafford area. I still drive out to their office even though it’s not very close because they are that good. Highly recommend.

When it comes to medical professionals, I always want to note that I have wicked anxiety, so that when I say the medico was awesome, the full weight is known. I cannot possibly describe how amazing this place, and this dentist, is. The office itself is very spacious and well-designed. Every assistant I have interacted with has been pleasant and helpful, and not solicitous* or condescending in the least. This helps tremendously, as assistants make the office. (* Noted bias: I don’t like it when people ask after me every five minutes. The capacity to both be available and not be intrusive is a rare quality.) Dr. Morich himself is incredibly kind. He is gentle, yet (again) not condescending. It’s surprisingly easy to tell him what’s going on because he never judges. Allow me to say this again: he never judges. Not in my experience. If you have even the slightest whiff of anxiety, dentist-specific or otherwise, you would do well to come here. His primary importance is the client’s well-being, and he includes emotional composure in this. Once, he offered to reschedule and give me a scrip for an anti-anxiety med, because I was so nervous. He seems to genuinely prefer giving good dental service. He also gives options for various procedures before he starts them, and is honest about the pros and cons of each. As odd as it is to say, I don’t mind going to this dentist at all.

I absolutely love this dental practice. My young daughter has some unexplained dental problems that began right around age two. Prior to finding Dr. Morich by recommendation of a friend, we had visited two other pediatric dental practices, both of which proposed extreme dental work for her that would have cost our family thousands of dollars over and above our dental insurance coverage (root canals and caps for several of her teeth, performed under anesthesia). Thank goodness we took the advice of a friend to see Dr. Morich. Dr. Morich was totally understanding of our apprehension of putting our daughter through the procedures the other dentists had recommended. She developed a treatment plan that didn’t result in extreme dental work for my daughter or extreme cost to our family. I also love how Dr. Morich and her hygienists help a child to make sure he or she is comfortable. They are all so gentle and caring–great traits for people that work with small kids. Really I can’t recommend this practice enough.

Good, honest dentists—which is extremely hard to find. I have been to a number of dentists who I have not trusted  and felt like they were just in it to make money. I really like Dr. Kevin –they are both very nice and never push unnecessary procedures. Hygienists are very great too. Office is very pretty and clean.  I am very happy I found Macadam Dental.
